Hiya guys, I've just measured my leg and I am bang in the middle of L & XL at 23"... What is your recommendation on what model to select? Great video by the way and extremely informative :-)
I just purchased these Braces, I have not tried them out in the field yet as I'm concerned about the risk of ACL twist. I found that they fit great into my boot and with my "17.5 calves I have the issue of getting everything inside but it just works. it's very tight. I fount that my foot swivels way to easy with the top of the boot spinning over the brace.I am considering drilling a hole in them and adding a tethering system like the Asterisk. I like the idea of the one side hinge but maybe considering returning for asterisk Ultra cell. I can't risk anymore injuries. Has this ever been Brought up from anyone else?
Why! Why would one design the sizes of a product like this where the size demarcation point is the same value?? If your leg is 19.5" at that point you can use the S/M or the L/XL. Great; except if you gain weight or lose weight or maybe want to wear different thickness thermal clothing. If you purchase S/M you can only lose weight and continue to use a $500 product or you can buy the L/XL and pray you never lose any weight so you won't be able to use your $500 product. I guess designing the size aspect as something like S/M = 10 to 20 and L/XL 15 to 25 would cut down on the profit margin and increase the number of Leatt products on Craigslist. Insane!
