*"GET OUT."* - Argonians
"wow jeez okay" - Dagon & the Daedra
Daedra: I fear no mortal, but that thing *glances at Argonians* its scares me
For anyone interested this is a little more in depth of what happened to Black Marsh. The argonians worship a race of ancient sentient trees known as the hist. Some time before any oblivion gates where opened, the hist trees telepathically let all the argonians across every province of Tamriel know that they had to return to Black Marsh and defend their homelands. There was a great migration as argonians answered the call to come home and prepare the defense. Waiting in the swamps they consumed the sap of the hist trees, the hist sap tremendously enhances nearly all physical attributes of argonians. When Dagon opened his oblivion gates in Black Marsh the argonians were more than ready. They destroyed the first waves and rushed the oblivion gates, surprising the dedra forces now in their realm with such great numbers and ferocity, that Dagon closed his gates, and was basically forced out of Black Marsh.
Holy shit thats awesome
and as a little added fun fact: According to the Hist, they were created by Sithis prior to the creation of Nirn by Lorkhan and the Aedra. The Hist hive-minded tree thus still worship Sithis, and since the Hists created the Argonian race, the Argonians of Black Marsh also have a cult for Sithis.
Heck, all Argonians born under the sign of the Shadow are raised in the Black Brotherhood, or at least they were prior to the Skyrim game(since the Black Brotherhood lost much of its influence). Those Argonians were known as Shadowscales, and the ones who survive and who are in Black Marsh are also acting as assassins and spies for Argonia(the Argonian country in Black Marsh).
As such, now with so little contact with the Black Brotherhood, the ones born under the sign of the Shadow are likely just trained by the remaining Shadowscales who work for the Argonian government, and they likely just contribute to that work too once they are trained.
Why are there argonians during the events of Oblivion in cyrodiil and why is this never mentioned in game?
Lore fleshed out after the game? There was almost no outside lore in game, Skyrim mentioned a couple of times. Also some Argonians might've not gotten into the migration business.
Why didn't I get this call from the Hist tree during my play throughs in Oblivion lol I only use Argonian when I choose a race.
In Cyrodiil, Oblivion invades you.
In Black Marsh, you invade Oblivion.

Hey, you live in blackmarsh and see a portal to a land that seems slightly more hospitable, better believe you are gonna manifest that destiny.
Black Friday in Black Marsh

"Cool, what can I use HERE to make drugs?"
Cyrodil: invaded by Oblivion
Skyrim: invaded by Oblivion
Morrowind: invaded by Oblivion
Valenwood: invaded by Oblivion
Summerset Isles: invaded by Oblivion
Hammerfell: invaded by Oblivion
High Rock: invaded by Oblivion
Elsweyr: invaded by Oblivion
Oblivion: invaded by Black Marsh...wait a minute
The Argonians were given a heads up thanks to the hist trees
turns out having telepathic trees that can see the future make for a great deity of worship
they came out of the trees, man! they came out of the trees!
IM iii
They have a symbiotic relationship - like the Gungans and the Naboo ;P
Seriously, though, the Hist need the Argonians to watch their backs, and in return the Hist acts as the eyes, ears, and support structure for Argonian Society.
Does a tree have a back to watch?
A tree is literally ALL back, my dude. They need a race of lizard loraxes to speak for them, you know how it is. To keep those Imperial and Dunmer logging companies from turning them into Hist-scented scroll paper.
Thanks for leaving us to die, Neverarine and Vivec!
*OBLIVION CRISIS FLASHBACKS INTENSIFIE
Shogorath will always protect us.
He is just waiting to tell others that
Jyggalag is free. oh, what fubn that will be.
He and Jyggalag made plans, I am 100%
sure of it. Soon deadric princes will die off.
Rest assured, Dagon cnat even scratch fully leveled
hero of Kvatch and he can kill Dagon with mere thought.
@@007RAJKOify but Daedra are immortal. Even when they "die", their bodies and souls will get recycled and come back, whether it takes them mere seconds or decades or in Umaril's case, a few thousand years.
Please note: Umaril was Aylied , but struck a deal with one of the Daedric Lord's, got a army of Aurorans and became a Daedra for lack of a better word to call him.
The Champion of Morrowind wait, I know you.
@@paladinheadquarters7776 You're making a mistake...
There's no mistake. You ran away when the Daedra attacked Morrowind, now what are you going to say?
"Oblivion Portals arrives packed with demons appear"
Lizard bois: WHAT ARE DOING IN MAH SWAMP!
Hearing about the argonians made me want to start rolling an argonian. Bunch of badasses
That’s what I’m doing in Skyrim I’m like do you have any idea who you are messing with
Considering the near total absence of traditional Daedra in Skyrim, to the point where I think they only exist as summons and within Azura's Star, I think it's safe to say that they were successfully wiped out within the province.
They need to be summoned or come through a gate. Not many magic users in Skyrim. No gates either. Skyrim seems one of the most vulnerable to Daedra attack I would guess they got mauled.
There actually is a voiceline in oblivion that says that from falkreath to windhelm skyrim was overrun with deadra
@@marsnz1002 Who knows how bad it was exactly, but Whiterun is literally surrounded by ruins, in fact there's so many ruins in Skyrim that makes you think that they never fully recovered
The Hist was the ultimate commander during the Oblivion Crisis.
You forgot to mention the Argonian's success was due to the Hist, calling the Argonians back to Black Marsh and sending them in a feenzy once the gates opened.
Doctor Strangelove no. That is actually false the hist never told the argonians about the deadra coming they didn't even know the argonians only faired so well in the oblivion crisis because how deadly black marsh. All the info about the hist telling the argonians was just some fan story some guy came up with years ago I can't remember the name but people just stuck to it and they end up thinking it is canon when we have litteraly no record about how the argonians stormed oblivion in any of the games
Wasn't it something MK wrote up?
I don't at all like C0DA but a lot of his work I do consider lore, I digress as you are write in that it's technically not canon but MK canon.
Doctor Strangelove no that' one of the many parts of TES c0da lore MK didn't create but people mistake it as his
I stand corrected.
HiiPER MaaDMaan lol people keep citing this all through the comments as if its relevant... And it turns out to not even be canon? Hilarious 😂
The hist trees warned the Argonians about the impending daedra invasion. I think ShoddyCast covered this.
I think they did
Dremora: "alright, time to massacre these..."
Argonians: "SURPRISE MUTHAFUCKER'S!!" *zerg rushes dremora*
Finally when someone asks now, if i have heared any news from the other provinces, i won´t have to tell them that i don´t want to talk about it
Kerschi 14 Have you heard any news from the other provinces?
@@deanmurray4776 Lol
@@deanmurray4776 I have been better.
Ok
Thank you for doing a video about the argonians. Could you do a lore video on sweetrolls?
Uuuh.. they're very good... uh sometimes people got turned into them... and people would steal them a lot. There you go. Years of research all put into one comment.
I'm hungry and that stupid robot destroyed the cake. Give me that sweetroll you got from old lady palmer.
You can hear some people in oblivion idly talking to each other about summerset Isles and other provinces
yeah but they dont say anything meaningful.
Its a huge shame they dont do more with the lore, its quite a surface level game
alex fxll I feel they definitely try to put the story in, but don't bother going in depth or explaining in any way other than superficially. Or it just seems like they have a complete blank spot in their memory to major plots in previous games that would have massive ramifications that if it were a real scenario, would be talked of for centuries. Slaying of an Ayleid? Eh, the oblivion crisis that threatened to end the world as it was known? Oblivion crisis? The hell is the oblivion crisis..oh right some dark elf kicked the bucket from a daedra when he was making an opus - Skyrim
@@unholymalformationoffisto2131 "Some dark elf" is our saviour Jiub, the eradicator of the winged menace
The Thalmor came into power because they saved the Altmeri refugees from the Crystal Tower right after it collapse and then made a campaign to fight off the daedra and close the gates. They actually saved Summerset from worse destruction. With the instability after words they started taking control of everything and even killed the current Monarchy so they could rule. Don't hate the high elves hate the Thalmor. Many high elves hate them because they kill their own people. I think 40 years after the crisis a bunch of high elf dissidents fled to Northern Hammerfell and were assassinated by Thalmor bounty hunters
@Willow Hicks They also took credit for ending the Oblivion Crisis.Which at the time many high elves believed them since they were not immediately aware of the events that took place in Cyrodiil.
Steven Green A course. Thank you I forgot to mention that.
Man you can't trust Them tall long ear bastards. They don't even have respect to their bosmer cousins.
@jahmerry h Yes the Thalmor are extremists.Even going as far as to commit the occasional purge of any bosmer clan or faction that does not subscribe to their policies of elven unification or supremacy. But you must remember not all high elves think the way they do.Chancellor Ocato who was part of the imperial government during the Oblivion Crisis.Did not agree with what the Thalmor were doing back in his homeland. He ended up getting exiled back to Cyrodiil.Along with other high elves seeking amnesty within the empire.
Steven Green for all way know 60% of the Altmer could hate their government just like America and her president, but the High Elves live in fear of interrogation, torture and even death if they speak out.
So all the provinces were wrecked in some form or other, except for Black Marsh. Black Marsh is still a independent state as of the events of Skyrim (according to the Elder Scrolls Wiki).
Irene Parkin I read somewhere that Valenwood thought of unleashing the Wild Hunt and turning every Bosmer within the province into bloodthirsty shape shifting monsters to kill the Daedra. They ended up not doing it, since it would practically drive the race to extinction. That could also be completely fake.
There's a few clues about the Oblivion Crisis in the quest obtained from the Museum in Dawnstar, that one in witch you gain the Mehrunes Razor. The Mythic Dawn has an appearance there.
Jorge Filêmom what are the clues tho
They only tell us about the Mythic Dawn,no "Clues" about what happened to the provinces during the Obvlion Crisis.
If you have the dawnguard dlc, there’s a tattered mythic dawn banner in Lord Horkan? I can’t remember his name. But the banner is hanging in the castle, implying a, this vampire clan has been around for centuries, and b, that the oblivion crisis bled into Skyrim at least slightly. This isn’t definitive, just something worth noting.
Chelsie yeah that mythic dawn banner is a real head scratcher eh? But considering molag bal and Mehrunes Dagon are about as chummy as the empire and the stormcloaks it’s safe to assume that banner is likely one of Harmon’s spoils of war
Massive respect to the argonians. I started liking the argonians because of tainava from the darkbrotherhood.
Dagon is the daedric prince of change, as well. So maybe all of this change to the entirety of Tamriel was a large part of his plan, not simply trying to invade and conquer.
Argonians: WhAt ArE yOu DoInG iN mY sWaMp!¿
**Daedra Invade Black Marsh**
Daedra: “Suprise muthafu-“
Argonians: “ *SURPRISE MUTHAFUCKA!* “
*Daedra* : "Your souls are ours mortals!"
*Argonians* : *sips hist juice* "bet?"
For some reason I often think the Oblivion Crisis took place in Cyrodiil alone. Then I remember Mehrunes Dagon tried to take over ALL of Tamriel. It would only stand to reason that other provinces would be affected in some way or another. In that case, though, there ARE mods you can add that will put Oblivion gates in Skyrim, so there's that if you want your game to be more lore-friendly (there strangely seem to be none in the vanilla game, but with structures like Oblivion gates, whether shut or not, you'd think you could still find remnants of them 200 years or however long later).
The Mad Hattress there's a mod that can put dead Oblivion Gates into Skyrim.
I guess they ended up buried by snow
File Scout or destroyed.
Irene Parkin I was talking about the remainings, that rocks that stay in the ground even after destroying them.
@The Mad Hattress You would think their would be Oblivion Gates still around two hundred years later. However i think their are at least two factors to consider.First within the empire i believe religious authorities would have gotten the government to tear most if not all of them down.As a " just in case " measure and to make sure they do not become gathering places for daedric worship.( especially for followers of Dagon ) If the empire missed any the Vigilants of Stendaar would have surely been keeping an eye out for any in their travels. Then wasted no time in tearing them down themselves once they got enough men and the necessary tools at the site. The rest may have suffered erosion due to various climate conditions and the weather. Then collapsed on their own.I am sure the other provinces may have torn down their's as well for the same reasons. But it is possible their might be some left in Tamriel and possibly even Akavir as well.
for Black Marsh the argonians worshipped the Hist which were trees and were the first life in tamriel. They drank the sap from the Hist and it told them the future. The Hist realised that the argonians weren't strong enough so the made their sap stronger and the argonians were ready.
The Hist seems to be a really chill hivemind. It warned them and can call them back to Blackmarsh but didn't force them to come. That's how I see it because there are Argonians still in Cyrodil.
It's my favorite deadra god I think they really do care about blackmarsh
New vid fams, finally got to do this topic and finish it. Remember to give your suggestions fro next videos. Hope you enjoy #oof

Daedra: Why do I hear boss music?
I wonder if Pyandonea was ever affected because I feel like it could’ve been the same way with the Argonians. Although they were surprised by the invasion the Maormer live in a tropical rain forest that is to many uninhabitable due to the things there and for that reason the Maormer have an advantage. Also they for the most part always have a strong military
The Maormer don't have the Hist backing them. The Hist are the only reason the Argonians turned back the invasion: the Hist knew that it was coming, altered Argonians to make them more powerful and more aggressive, and had these beefed up Argonians mass in the locations where the Hist knew the Oblivion Gates would appear. They made the Argonians ready for the invasion.
I wonder how the Akavir was doing during the invasion of Dagon. Unless Tamriel was his first goal
I was playing oblivion recently and I recall some bandits talking with each other about how Skyrim was getting devastated by the daedra. Idk the exact line though
In my opinion, you are one of the best skyrim you tubers as you as a funny tone to your videos, and explain things well. You are really awesome to watch

No joke, you are the only other person I know that considers Oblivion to be their favorite Elder Scrolls. I feel like Milhouse when he meets Shelbyville Milhouse 😭
I have a few video ideas
1: why you should kill/not kill Cicero
2: why you should not kill Alduin
3:why you should not kill Mercer Frey
4:what happend to the other provinces during the Dragon crisis
5:why was the emperor okay with you killing him
6:ranking the elder scrolls games
7:why the blades are dicks
8:what is the best guild in skyrim
9:beyond skyrim Burma play through
10: I cant remember the name of the mid but it is the one that has 3 faction either imperials irks or a local jarl it it based on the skyrim border it is like beyond skyrim Burma
Gearóid Folan Great ideas 😀👍
Weißt du den Weg
These are interesting questions so I'll answer them from my view!
1. I didn't kill cicero because he was just trying to help. The night mother to him is like his actual mother, and hearing everyone in the brotherhood pretty much say "She shouldn't be here" made cicero angry. I think he was reasonably correct in what he did, especially considering the times that he is in (Where people could kill for a sweetroll)
2. Because he is meant to end the kalpa. Not much you can do, so you may as well enjoy what you've got.
3. Hahaha no.
4. Can't remember lel
5. There was a theory about the emperor hiring the brotherhood himself, you should check it out!
6. From my least favourite to most favourite: Morrowind is a 1/10 for me. Oblivion is a 7/10 and skyrim is a 9/10 (I enjoy good graphics and open world)
7. I'd love to know that myself.
8. Personally, the college of winterhold. I enjoy the magical aspect of the elder scrolls series. I loved the design and lore of winterhold, because it really is mysterious! I'll expand on why I didn't choose the others:
Companions: They were my 2nd favourite but I love magic too much haha
Thieves Guild: This is my 3rd favourite because I loved the abilities you get from this, and it's also fine to use my magic (Illusion)
Dark brotherhood: They had like one amazing quest (My fave quest in the game too) but not much else. Idk, this dark brotherhood didn't have the charm of the oblivion one.
----
DLC
-----
Dawnguard: It was amazing and mystical but I hated the characters.
Lord Harkons court: My least favourite, I don't like vampires.
9. Uhhhhhh
10. That's called Lordbound, and I'm super hyped for it.
The Blades aren't dicks. Delphine is a dick. The Blades from TES IV - Oblivion are pretty cool.
Quin B Why is Morrowind 1/10?
Mario Vinicius Agreed
Gearóid Folan What is Dragon Crysis? Do you mean the return of Alduin?
This is my new favourite TES YT channel.
I am loving it.
I am so glad I found your channel... you are the funniest elder scrolls youtuber I have ever watched.😂
argonians - best race 2018
They have always been the best race
*for slavery*
Yeah, I've always loved the argonians, I just never felt compelled to play as one.. I just remember them having so much character in Oblivion, lol! Damn i need to finish that game. This video also made me respect them so much more.
ironically enough, i don't think i've ever played as an argonian ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Eww
Daedra: invades Black Marsh
Argonians: wHaT aRe YoU DOiNg iN mY SwAmP!!!
Im heart broken i never played Oblivion, when it came out i was in a bad place in my life, ive played every other elder scrolls game, with Morrowwind being my favorite.
i'll give it a try!
The one npc dialogue in oblivion that mentions skyrim basically only mentions the daedra lay siege to the old holds
Im irish and ive never heard someone as irish as you. Great video man
And a think i head few NPCs in Bruma say that most of the major holds in skyrim were destroyed by daedra.
Love your accent btw. Also, there was an interesting thing is skyrim, in the inn "The bee and Barb" There is a dark elf with the last name "Dreth" I think, who says his ancestor fought off all the daedra, and saved Martin Bean, and his ancestor was Velen Dreth, who was the guy opposite yout cell, taunting you (who you thankfully can kill in the dark brotherhood)
"But yeah, Morrowind got smashed and pretty beaten up during it" or in straightupirish's words:
"Butt chyah Marruuwin god-smasht n priddee beet'nup durin eet."
I love this line. not only because of the accent but because jesus that's highly a highly amusing tldr if i've ever heard one LOL
I guess Thanks To The Oblivion Crisis along With The Mythic Dawn and Mehrunes Dagon,The Thalmor Rose to Power in The Summerset Isles...Huh,I guess It's like a Chain Reaction
Great video, I am a new subscriber. How about you do a video on skywind and say what you think or your favourite immersive mods for skyrim. Great video :)
That the Argonians actually INVADED OBLIVION just makes me love them even more.
6:17 Riley from the boondocks said it best: "man i musta been blind cause i sure didint see THAT asswoopin coming."
ive been waiting for someone to make this video and who better than you Irish, thanks buddy!
ben schlahmilch No
Really cool topic! you should cite your references so I can nerd out and find/read the books?
Elder Scrolls lore and spoken in that lovely accent. Just 101/100
i think black marsh was waiting the oblivion gates to appear because the hist warned them and instead of daedra rushing out the argonians rushed in XD argonians are the best
also the nords probably annhialated the daedra tbh
Please do more lore/creature videos like this one! 😁
cool vid m8. i think a good "sequel" to this vid would be something about the elhnofey and the hist, along with the connection of the hist with sithis.
Finally, some news from the other provinces; that people actually like to talk about.
Black Marsh : " nice place you got here, WE WILL TAKE IT "
*Confused Deadra Screaming and argonian warcrime noises *
Daedra: "Excuse me, can you tell me which way is Black Marsh?"
Argonians: "Yea it's back the way you came." *Cocks shotgun*
He was saying in Skyrim the npcs dont seem to realize that their ancestors fought an oblivion crisis but... i can swear i remember times playing skyrim that people mentioned it, as well as books in the game. Which people and which books? I dont remember, but it was mentioned. That i know
That being said though, well done video, i checked out your other vids and you've earned my sub
Holy shit. Argonians have jumped up on my list. I mean, damn!
6:24 You should've mentioned that it was the hist trees that warned them about the crisis. Its a pretty important piece of information.
Daedra: (opens some gates in Black Marsh)
Argonians: so anyways I started blasting
In tes4 the empire abandoned all of the other provinces to focus only on cyrodiil. That's how the thalmere take over the high elves because it was they who saved the high elves. As a result the high elves devopled a burning hate for man and then thr great war happened
*thalmor
Maniacal Laugh have you even played oblivion?
Argonians: *knock* *knock*
Daedra: HELP!!!
0:50 "All of Tamriel suffered in some way, everyone got equal treatment"
*laughs in Jel*
So this is just a theory on my end But I think that for those remaining 4 provinces 3 of them probably did OK During the crisis and that would be valanwood elsweyr and hammerfell. Allow me to explain The redguards are naturally skilled Warriors considered to be some of the best warriors in tamriel combined with the deserts of their homeland being difficult to traverse I could see them having a sizable combat advantage. I could actually picture them using guerrilla tactics to defeat the deadra like they did against the Thalmor. Also redguard cavalry aint nothing to fuck with so ya if Their people were smart and fell back to the deserts they could easily defeat the deadra BUT I feel like taking the fight to them like the argonians did....yeah they would get smoked...pun intended...
The wood elves would actually have done surprisingly well at first. Guerrilla warfare is something they are great at and I guarantee you that deadra would not know the forests as well as they do. So ya snipers dream! Downside unlike the deserts forests can be destroyed and I imagine that a good chunk of their forest would have been burned.....like a lot! So for the wood elves I have to say strong start weak finish.
Now our beloved Kitty friends. I know this is gonna sound really lame but guerrilla tactics again! Given the terrain of their homeland they have A LOT to work with. The cats have forests and deserts as well as murky water like the argonians and the genetics of their people as a whole is an advantage! Kahjeet come in many different varieties and all of these varieties are capable of interbreeding with each other so if one breed wasn't good for fighting the deadra guess what the species continues. This is a lot of advantages however in terms of head on combat they would probably get destroyed so I imagine that they had to resort to guerrilla tactics even more than the rest.
Now for my favorite race the bretons...... Yeah they're fucked! Like there is no doubt in my mind that they got completely destroyed during the oblivion crisis. Breton kings have a bad habit of feuding and they aren't very good at uniting even under crisis scenarios so the province would have been shattered the second this started and even allied lords would have probably been separated from their allies due to the size of the invading armies. And while I feel like Breton knights would be capable of holding their own against Deadra I doubt they would be able to do so for a long. And while Breton castles are impressive the common people yeah they got screwed HARD. And any lords that didn't have extra stocks of food would have probably died in their castles while their lands burned.
So yeah long story short I feel like 3 out of the 4 provinces would have done OK but high rock probably got screwed which definitely accounts for the sorry state of the Empire currently.
Fear the Pig Gaming Excellent analysis!
Koven Maitreya hey thanks man
I think that all makes sense. I imagine that's what most likely happened to the other provinces
*khajiit
meanwhile in tamriel: The Oblivion crisis
meanwhile in oblivion: The Black marsh crisis
If you go to the Arcane University in the Imperial City, you can sometimes here the scholars discussing what is happening everywhere else. I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure one of them said something about House Redoran being in ruin, and some province being under siege by the Nords, who seem to have taken advantage of the Dunmers weakened state. Also, in the Sommerset Isles, they say it had become a very dangerous place, with an ever increasing prevalence of Daedra worship.
I like the way you say "The Daedra" fam! :)
Such great quality! Love your vids 😃
Nice video. I remember seeing smth about the oblivion crisis in skyrim in the wikia but im not sure
What about the other providence nothing I would like to talk about
"Finally, some news about the other provinces'
Honestly the most surprising thing about the Oblivion Crisis is that the daedra apparently didnt have much issue with the cliffracers in Morrowind
Great lore video!
I beg of thee to do more.
...well, damn. Those Argonians weren't messing around. I find it so hilarious that the daedra just popped in to try and conquer black marsh and just immediate like millions of lizard men were just on them.
Go Argonians!
Woah never thought about it. Nice vid.
You sound like you be on RTE news :P
*Daedra:* Black Marsh will soon be ours!
*Argonians:* LOL.
*Daedra:* Understandable, sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you, have a very nice end of era.
Speaking of black marsh , some the hist also made to be part of the infernal city incident , which also dropped a seedling in skyrim
Very well made video👏🏻
Mankar Camoran is supposed to be a wood elf, but I imagine the devs thought they looked just too unthreatening to be the main anthagonist. There's a theory that he undid his bosmer changes with Mehunes razor and became an Aldmer (as opposed to altmer).
Actually the oblivion crisis is what directly lead to the thalmor gaining as much power as they did in the Summerset Isles
On the Summerset end, we also know Crystal-Like Law (AKA the Crystal Tower) was taken and toppled by the Daedra.
Honestly, knowing what little we know about the other provinces, it feels like Oblivion *seriously* downplays the effects of the Oblivion Crisis on Cyrodiil, probably for gameplay/engine purposes. If there were literal piles of dead in the Summerset Isles, can you even begin to imagine what Kvatch would have realistically looked like during and after the siege? It must have turned into a slaughterhouse. And how many people were killed during the siege on the Imperial City which ended with Martin dead, considering we know that lore-wise the Imperial City's population is MASSIVE?
Not to mention how it left the Empire in shambles. The Oblivion Crisis might as well have been the most catastrophic event in the history of Tamriel. The Mythic Dawn probably single-handedly caused more destruction than everyone and everything else in history, even the Dragons and the Red Year.
For Skyrim, there's a good little bit of information from Winterhold. I believe they say that their hatred for magic came from the Oblivion Crisis, when half the town fell into the sea.
I can't remember the exact information, but they talk about it around there, or someone does.
Ah! OK, I'm misremembering stuff then. lol
Thank you!
Will you be streaming this evening? I really want to watch you stream... btw the story behind the sleeping tree would be great.
Great video 😉👍
My mother language is german but I still can hear the difference between your english and american english or british english. Your Accent is eargasm 🤙💣
Oblivion is also my favorite. My favorite RPG of all time actually
In Skyrim, the Dawnstar Museum is run by a man who is part of the Church of the Mythic Dawn - they helped Mehrunes Dagon and are basically the Church of Scientologists - who sends you on a quest to retrieve parts of an ancient sword called the Mythic Razor, which has enough power to suck the lifeforce out of any mortal (if it was activated). You then go on a quest with him to give the sword to Dagon at a shrine. Afterwards Dagon will command you to kill him - there are two choices. 1st: kill museum manager and gain the influence and affection of Dagon or; 2nd: don’t kill him, Dagon will then proceed to summon two Deadra to kill you. There is no way to obtain the Mythic Razor as you must retrieve the parts and the sword cannot be built. You must give the parts to the manager who then keeps it to give to Dagon.
i'm fairly certain that it's mentioned in the dragonborn dlc that solstheim was left completely untouched by the crisis
If something happened in Skyrim, one would think books would have written about it.

I can't agree with you about the Argonians. Yes, they defeated the daedra(with lots of help from the Hist trees), but they couldn't easily over run the Dunmer of Morrowind after they took massive casualties from the Oblivion crisis and the entire island of Vvardenfell becoming a wasteland after the Red Mountain Eruption. For a race that had to rely on their sacred Hist trees to empower them to defeat the Daedra, the Argonians, without Hist magic, could not defeat the already dysfunctional Dunmer of Morrowind that barely had a leg to stand on.

*YOUVE COME TO THE WRONG HOUSE FOOL*
MISTAKE: It's is wildly accepted as a fact, what you said about Argonians. However sources for that lie outside of games.
That was mentioned in a book by Gregory Keyes called: "Infernal City". Whether or not it is canon is up to a debate. (until beth either references it in game or denies it)
CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THE KAHOOT LIVESTREAM
