DETAILS:
A large group of people blocked the intersection of Vernon Ave and S Figueroa St for over an hour.
The large group of mostly teens were setting off fireworks and inhaling NOS out of balloons.
LAPD approached the group and the teens scattered and drove off almost crashing into each other.
One red mustang was stopped and police looked under the hood for any illegal modifications.

More than half of those cars are stolen. Next week, they'll do the same with different stolen cars. We need a new governor with balls to stop all this crap.
lucky for them that was found to unconstitutional unless a court can prove the car is the issue(like proving the gun is the issue). Its hard, it has to be a special built car and you have to be caught multiple times with same car, same crime
@@J_bloxdo that shit here and car is impounded for 14 days, licence is suspended immediately for 30 days, you are given a court date, and if you lose you get a 1 year licence suspension and up to 10k fine

they don't have the resources is my part of my understanding. Plus this is considered low level/priority. Plus when the break them up they need more than one car or they are ignored. There are task force night but those are rare and don't do anything to stop the next intersection.... there are prob 10 spots a night. If the cops want to make a power flex move its at one or two spots then they go away for the rest of the night. Plus watching is a petty misdemeanor charge that doesn't really get prosecuted or carry jail time, at most you plead guilty and pay $1.000 if you don't wanna take a education class.

id say close to 1/2 the people watching and every driver have been arrested,. It's a victimless petty misdemeanor crime at the end of the day. Its reckless driving, or spectating a illegal speed event. The driving can carry jail time for multiple convictions, the spectating charge really doesn't, just big fines

Onscene Tv it looks like you were invited and given a VIP pass some or most of those cars are stolen. We all work for what we have, right? My son's Chevy White Camaro ZL1 was stolen from San Bernardino/ Highland May 1 st 2024 I'm pretty sure you know how many of those cars have been stolen and people are still looking for their cars. I appreciate your video because maybe someone has seen their stolen car on it and I wish I'd see my son's car because police just add another car to the list and close the file. Why couldn't the police come from four Streets and block them from leaving, why? Scared, lazy, idiots. And what I'm thinking is I wonder if this Onscene crew will help the community and take pictures of license plates if they're on and if they don't have it then it could be it's stolen.
