UPDATE #2: Troy Darrel Thorp, 61, of Kent, is the second victim that died in a May 11 fiery single-car crash in Kent.
Thorp died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office May 23 report.
Tragically, 53-year-old Kristen Anne Meyers, of Seattle, died in this May 11, 2024, crash from multiple blunt force injuries according to medical examiner on 5/17/2024. The identity of the driver has not been released as of this post on 5/20/2024.

@@tedsmith6137 agree 💯 when they didn’t say "who" I went on a quest. I've been going through the coroner list everyday. Only today did they list the passenger. They had the license plate, but haven’t released driver's name. Why? Stolen? Again not the age you expect to be in a stolen car. Affair maybe? Husband's car? I'll keep checking and update.

I have a question , i see the fireman standing on the gate ,so when something like this happens and nobodys home do the cops come back and tell them who crashed into the fence and give them the insureance info or when the owner comes home and says hey who hit my fence ? and they have to call all around to find out ?

Another young, inexperienced punk who thought he could handle such a car, only to find out how wrong he was. If it weren't him, it would be two 13 yr olds that stole one.
Just sad, no need to use names like "punk" to add insult to the ultimate injury, death. They paid the highest price for a moment of bad decision making. The follies of youth are not always forgiving.
The passenger was 53. Nothing released on driver, so we'll see.
