    Really funny how we percieve beauty .. we think red dots on the face (acne) are ugly and we want to get rid of them, and then we draw brown dots on our face and it's pretty :D

      @LittleThing Freckles are freckles...either you got them or don't. Please don't over glorify them. People do them for aesthetic reasons nothing more. Humans are drawn "naturally" to trends not health... Not to be a buzz kill...in example no one was shaving their face for health reasons its a way of applying better "products" and it exfoliates so you (look better) so its really just for appeal that people started applying faux freckles because a lot of people who naturally have them used to hide them because of people bullying them or they grew out of them. Its all a pigmentation issue that became beautiful just like Vitiligo. which has honestly always been beautiful to begin with to be truly honest.

    • @HopePhotoG
      @HopePhotoG 4 роки тому +4

      @LittleThing exactly my thoughts. acne=detoxing your body from pollutants and from inflammation.. where as freckles are part of someones nationality. i use to get made fun of for my freckles,and now.. people draw them on!! so funny how fashion/styles change. although i believe it's more adaptation not evolution :)

    The older I get the more tired I get of applying makeup. It’s so time consuming! I focus on skincare more now and love using gel moisturizers, they give me a nice glow, then I use a little bit of a concealer, blush, and little bit of eye makeup and I’m done! I feel like the less makeup you put on, the younger you look! I’m 34 and I am just now starting to realize that. #skincareovermakeup ✌🏼🤪

    I really do not see the point of shaving your face or darkening freckles. I mean, if you're into it, then its your thing but I just think we should "normalize" the fact that some women have a little facial hair or fuzzy hairs and thats okay.

    Sarah ! You definitely should have rinse off that bioderma! It's scientificly proven, that micelar products aren't optimal for our skin as toners, because they have a very different ph level than our skin should. Take that into consideration and check if maybe avoiding this would help with your spots :) Loving Your content!!!!

      TOTALLY! ALSO, SHE CLEAN HER SKIN AAAA LOOOOOOOT, THAT ISN'T GOOD FOR ANY SKIN, BUT IN THAT TYPE, JUST CAUSES MORE OIL SKIN. WHEN YOU CLEAN IT A LOT, IT GETS MORE OIL FOR PROTECTION AND HOW A SAFE REACTION FOR THE DRY THAT CLEAN CAUSED =/

    • @matkokochana
      @matkokochana 4 роки тому +4

      @shannon ruffell well, brands don’t really care about our health, they mostly care about marketing. Basically micelles work like magnets to gather all the dirt from the skin and when you just wipe them off, it’s not enough to get rid of all of it, it can cause breakouts :) they also gather the good oils from the skin, leaving it dry by breaking its natural barrier :)

      Susan Durand Stone It probably works for her, however, the risk of it not working outweighs the benefits imo. It felt good the first couple of times, but it’s kind of unnecessary. It’s natural to have peach fuzz and you can use gentle chemical treatments to take the dead skin off that won’t cause ingrown hairs and acne.

      Remember that her and her husband are both at home and so can both look after children. This isn't always possible. You might not get time to do stuff for yourself, especially not everyday but as you have family your priorities change and time for yourself isn't the most important. I think either way it's nice to stay positive and appreciate your situation at the moment :) I'm addicting this comment because the reality is different for so many woman out there who's husbands work long hours (and even mum may be working), you might often be alone with the children and even if you do get some time for yourself, you may not have the strength to do what Sarah is doing here in the video (but for example have a nap instead) and that's also OK :)

    Have you ever thought that maybe all this stuff you're doing to your face and the products you're putting on your face are what's actually causing your acne problem? I've had acne for a looong time and the best advice I ever got was from a dermatologist (surprise, surprise). All you need to wash your face is WATER (you may have oily skin because you're over washing it and the body's natural reaction to over washing is to create sebum, alternatively if you have dry skin, that can cause you to break out as much as oil can) and advice number 2 ALWAYS wear sunscreen! Best "moisturizer" is Aquaphor healing ointment- yes at night you'll look like a grease monkey but it actually seals in your skin's natural moisture and it's super cheap compared to all this other stuff you're buying - Just my two cents.

      Shaving *DOES NOT* cause hair to grow thicker or darker, that is a *MYTH.*

    • @uprisingsun9105
      @uprisingsun9105 4 роки тому +1

      It is often thought that shaving makes hair grow thicker and/or darker because most teenagers, when they start shaving their pits, legs, or faces, the hair gradually gets thicker and darker, but that is just because their body hair is maturing it has *NOTHING* to do with shaving. If you notice men's facial hair, it's originally peachy fuzz and grows thicker and darker throughout puberty. Same thing with other body hair. Shaving does not affect that whatsoever. It doesn't even make sense how shaving *COULD* cause that. That hypothesis is scientifically completely unbacked. It's not even biologically possible.

    This is the first video of yours I do not like and this is because you always promote such good and healthy habits and this time I feel like you are doing something which is a bit opposite. I mean, the baby hair on the face has the role to protect the face from the external factors and it is healthy to preserve it on the face. If the face is well cleaned, hydrated and overall taken care off, also the make-up will look good on it.

I don't over wash my face or use fancy products. I just use Trador's Joe's olive oil soap with a clean face cloth and moisturizer after. To shave my face I use a regular shaver on a dry face and just skim it. Works for me.

    I thought this was a "no make up routine" this takes longer than any routine I have. I honestly enjoy your videos but why would you want to shave your face?! I can't get over that. I've never met any female that shaves their face and shaving thickens hair. It may cause more facial hair issues for you in the future. Just as it isn't good to shave "the hair down there" but to rather pluck as it thickens the hair etc. Just an encouragement... You are beautiful and perfectly made in the Lord's imagine and you don't need to shave or add freckles etc.

    • @Silentmusings.noisylife
      @Silentmusings.noisylife 4 роки тому

      Shaving doesn’t thicken hair, that’s a myth. A lot of women shave their faces, it’s really good for your skin as it exfoliates and allows your products to be more effective. This isn’t a no makeup routine, it’s stuff you could do once a week or so.
      Also, shaving “down there” isn’t bad for you as long as you have good hygiene otherwise.
      And we’re all made in Gods image, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do things to feel better about ourselves and enjoy it!

  • @lecm0111

    Hey! Love your channel! I’ve been wondering why would you shave your face? Ok I know it is because the make up base sick longer or so, but saying this make up will be something to cover your skin and immediately won’t look natural.. I have a similar skin (I think, some zips here and there every 3 months) and my advise would be to only wash your face twice, and exfoliate it only once per month. This way your skin won’t produce extra grease bc it has it’s normal amount. I feel we have similar style, looks and habits (I even have a pixie) so this really grabbed my attention. I hardly put make up on, just my eyes some blush and powder to cover a little bit the moisturizer. And I feel like my best friends beside moisturizer and dermatologist’s sunscreen are my baby hair! I go a lot to the dermatologist but I don’t do anything to have “pore-less skin” or all one color idk it feels like the next step would be looking like a Kardashian or the classic “influencer tourist”... Check what I’m telling you with a Dr and maybe you will stop using so much makeup and masks, etc, and your skin will show as it is with treatment and with laser you can remove the dark spots. You’ll look great. Vitamins injections are great also!

    My skin has always been super oily too, it was rough as a teenager just feeling how oily my face was during the day and nothing working having to be mindful of what hair products I used too those would make the oil worse! :( thankfully its not as much now but still get some oiliness and acne at 27 years of age. Hopefully it is a sign I will age well! Great video!

    My skin is very similar to yours! I feel special haha 😂 but honestly, my skin is sooo sensitive and I always have to be very careful to not over wash, or use too many products, or whatever. It’s very annoying. And I almost never use moisturizer since my skin is really oily. But I use the burts bees facial cleaner (it’s like $10 at Walmart) and it helps me a ton! I also found that staying away from dairy products like milk and even ice cream keep my acne at bay. Everyone kind of has to experiment with their skin and see what works for them and what doesn’t. Many products that help others don’t help me and visa versa. Kinda cool how we’re so different lol
