I completely agree that watching skin videos really helps because ever since I hit puberty I have gotten acne and I am 23 now I'm still dealing with acne and dealing with acne for so long really ruins your self esteem and I've struggled with severe depression and my family keeps telling me don't watch those videos, you're just making your depression worse and they don't understand that the reason why I watch these videos is because it reminds me that I'm not alone because I truly do feel alone. none of my friends have acne. my family members never dealt with acne. I'm the first one to really struggle with it so watching those videos and seeing people struggle with the same things as I do and overcoming them really helps.

definitely go to your doctor and ask for benzoyl peroxide. ignore people telling you that its as easy as washing your face, changing your diet and drinking water because its not. acne is an infection and its different to pimples that you might get at that time of the month or if you have lactose intolerance or bad hygiene. its one of the most common but most difficult conditions to get rid of. Benzoyl Peroxide works well because it kills the bacteria that causes acne - and whats even better is that your skin doesn't get used to it and stop working like most other topical treatments! you can use it however many times and it doesn't lose its effectiveness :) and please don't let people make you feel ashamed of your acne, I'm also going through it and its so mentally draining - just know that its never your fault and you can't help it, I hope it gets better soon because I know how hard it is to suffer from acne

    Tips:
-Know your skin type and skin concerns and if you need help, search up videos or do research and or see a dermatologist to get the products you’re looking for.
-Do NOT use ice on your face, it can make your skin more sensitive.
-I recommend using a chemical exfoliant for longer effects rather than physical.
-If you use a towel to dry please pat your skin instead of rubbing it.
-Do NOT use paper towels or tissues on your face to clean. (Recommend reusable cotton pads)
-Stay hydrated! (Although it’s not scientifically proven that it will help the skin but it should be essential to you every day already)
    -ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN
-For sheet masks, it should be a 1 only use so please don’t reuse the sheet masks and serum inside for the face.
    -Be aware of skincare DIYS
-Use reusable cotton pads so you can wash them instead of throwing them away.
-Never use scrubs for your face.
-Don’t touch your face a lot since your hands can be dirty.
-Wash your pillows/bedsheets often like once a week or so.
-Clean the things you touch every 1-2 months.
-For sheet masks only do the maximum of 15 minutes.
The only steps you need in skincare:
-Micellar Water with a cotton pad (if you have makeup)
-Cleansing oil or balm (if you have very oily skin or have makeup)
    -Cleanser
    -Moisturizer
    -Sunscreen
    Skincare steps with extras:
    Extras = *
    Daytime-
    -Cleanser
    *Toner
*Serum (please check which serums you use if it’s for AM or PM)
    -Moisturizer
    -Sunscreen
    Nighttime-
-Cleansing oil or balm (if you have very oily skin or have makeup)
    -Cleanser
    *exfoliator (chemical or physical)
    *Toner
    *Serum
    *Sheet mask
    -Moisturizer
This is just a small comment but I hope it helps!
Oh, small reminder it can also be your diet and the food you consume too so be on the lookout for that :D

    • @ninasimic8457

I recommend getting a few cotton masks, switching them up and washing after every wear and maybe putting some baby powder on the bottom part of your face (chin, upper lip, nose...). This is what helps me not breakout while wearing a mask. Now, I think the powder is safe enough for the skin (mine is doing good), I haven’t had any breakouts in this area that came from wearing a mask. If you wear makeup (which I usually do, but very light), I recommend finishing off with some powder (translucent or in color). My skin is oily in the T-zone, so I don’t have problems with my cheeks, but if you do, I’m guessing this would work on the cheeks as well.
Hope this helps, feel free to try it out and see for a while. Let me know how it goes! ☺️

    ** UPDATE ** DOWN BELOW THIS !!
Literally last night while I was washing my face, I looked at my face and just felt so disgusted of my acne ruining my confidence and my poor face. So I cried myself to sleep lol just praying for change to my face! This morning I came across this video and OMG I am so excited to try these products and hope my face will love it!! I’ve never seen someone who knows the struggle and how much money we put into our face to feel confident again. Thank you and I’m so excited to get these products and praying to feel beautiful again! 💕☺️
    *** UPDATE *** May 2nd
I started drinking the powder she recommended and let me tell you, it was horrible!!! I drank it with water ones a week because I couldn’t take drinking it everyday lol. So far I don’t see massive results with the powder. With skincare it worked in the beginning, but still had acne and wouldn’t go away. So I went to sephora and I met an amazing woman who helped me find my skincare products for my acne. She was so real with me and made me feel confident. What made me more happy and confident was when she told me if she can see my face so she knows what she’s working with ( i obviously had my mask on lol ) so I showed her and she told me “ you’re to beautiful to have acne” 🥲 So she recommended me the brand First Aid Beauty and WOW my acne was GONE within 4 weeks!!! As of today I just have acne scars from my previous acne, but NO active acne!! NONE!!!

As someone who has also experienced the same acne struggles and is finally slowly getting clearer skin, i definitely recommend everybody to purchase or intake nutritional supplements or drinks like the one she purchased. I have been fasting for months now and it was definitely clearing up my skin and is healing my scars. Never lose hope cause getting clear skin again is very much possible. You just have to have patience. I did research on the root cause of my acne and found out that i have a fatty liver. It is a condition normally caused by alcohol intake and bad eating habits. As someone who is addicted to sweets and was taking pills for years because of never ending cough that i never understood, i definitely recommend solving acne from the inside. Personally, i have been drinking vibrant coffee, vitamin c, zinc (this is key), and diluted apple cider vinegar. These are my key products.

I can relate to this. My skin is highly prone to breakouts after the consumption of sugar. If I go above ~20 grams of sugar I usually wake up with 2-4 new whiteheads the following day. And yet I see my co-workers casually having a soda or energy drink (+50 grams of sugar) everyday and yet somehow have clear skin. I'm guessing it's a sign of an underlying condition from the gut or hormonal issues.

    What helped for me:
-NO MAKEUP (just eye makeup and a little bit of concealer) - at first it was very hard, but it was worth it!
-yoga, pilates and walking - before I was doing more strength training
    - more fat in my diet - before I was avoiding fat (I'm vegan btw)
    - meditation and stress management - I think it is probably the most important
    - only water on my face in the morning, in the evening I'm removing make up from the eyes with some apricot seed oil, and whole face I'm cleaning with delicate soap. Sometimes I'm putting some cream from the pharmacy when I have some spots
I had been struggling with my face for about 14 years. Now it's better than ever with this routine.

My beloved had the sames issues while i had some for my back, this is what helped her :
    - physical activity + good water + detoxing foods (some salads while avoiding processed meats) so the metabolism can purge out the overload impurities
    - increased hygiene for clothing and avoid harsh/dry soap during showers, instead gentle soap like alep soap and the makeup cleaner for the face did good
    - keeping very clean bed clothings
    - practice regular massages with soft coton to wash out
    - the pill sure bring some issues with hormones among other things, it whacks the body self-regulatory system creating unpredictable effects on some peoples
Regular maintenance of good habits bring the long term changes once the detox and hormonal flux is sorted out. The skin is like the iceberg, it reflect the outer layers of various processes expressed within that can sometime be part of becoming adult or entertaining problematic lifestyle.

Be aware that niacinamide can really breakout with the high percentage of it in the serum, like Ordinary has. Study's show that 2-4% is the 'perfect' percentage for the skin. So either look for a serum with 2-4% or a day/night cream with a percentage niacinamide in it.

So, if these breakouts last longer dan 6 weeks, I would recommend using a lower percentage niacinamide, somewhere between 2-4% (studies have shown this percentage is most effective).

@@Kikisdiary. With percentage I mean th concentration of niacinamide. So, a lot of serums are 10%, that's a higher percentage, and you're skin needs to get used to.

Some things that are helping me deal with my acne right now is heating water on the stove till you see steam out of the pot and just don’t touch the pan or the hot water but put your face by it and let the steam soak in and after that then go in with cold water when your cleansing because steam opens up your pores so you can get all those particles and dirt away and cold water washes them away hope this helped XD

You’re literally explaining everything I’ve experienced with my skin and I use la roche posay and the ordinary serums specifically mainly the niacimanide on a nightly basis I’ve also been using the la roche posay skin barrier cream n ordinary skin barrier serum cuz I needed to heal my skin from with in too with considering how sensitive it is at them same time n these products do that. But imma try those drinks and things you said cuz my skin still isn’t all good still struggling a lil but it’s definitely a lot better than before like so much better. I’m glad I found this video❤

Acne tips: acne/ allergic reactions always comes from within… so you are what you eat. Check up your hormones and gut! Do not use aggressive products for your skin! Do not touch your face and read about microbiom. Check up you vitamins: do a mineral analysis. Do meditation or yoga to calm down when you have stress. Stress also affects the skin ♡

I've been trying to find a way to clear my skin from the inside out as well, my skin seems to thrive in the summer but every winter it gets pretty bad and I am once again trying to figure out how to clear it. This product sounds great and I would love to try it, just need to find a canadian version or something i think because I'm not sure i can get it from australia.

    • @alicelopes6698
      @alicelopes6698 4 роки тому +2

Your acne can be caused by dryness in the winter. I know that when we have oily skin we don't want to moisturize thinking that the skin will get more oily, but i have acne because of dry skin in the winter too 😊 keep your skin protected from the wind and cold, drink lots of water and use moisturizer everyday

    • @arielkalyan
      @arielkalyan 4 роки тому

@@alicelopes6698 yeah that's something that definitely helped me I think, I moisturize every morning/evening now as I have very dry skin and I didn't use to do that in the past. and I definitely need to drink more water hahah
i think most of what I have left is hormonal, which could mean I'm not getting the same nutrients that I get in the summertime possibly. i don't know every time I think I'm onto something it doesn't really pan out lol

    • @marija1922
      @marija1922 4 роки тому +1

@@arielkalyan Hey, this was my case too and although I still have pimples and acne, it's not severe as it was the last 3 winters. I started drinking vitamin D because during the winter there is less sun and I rarely go out. I have also been drinking cod liver oil during last 9 months so that could have some influence as well.
Another thing about winter is dryness of the skin. Very popular ingredient in hydrating products is hyaluronic acid because it binds water but if you live in a dry climate, it will have an opposite effect - it will retain water FROM your skin and make it even dryer. My solution is applying (green tea and tea tree) toner before a serum with hyaluronic acid. Also, after applying a moisturizer I use some kind of oil which is good for acne prone skin: jojoba, squalane etc. which prevents leaving the moisture out of my skin.
The remaining breakouts are probably from diet, stress and possibly hormones, but I am working on those things as well.
