    I’ve been reading a lot more about Ayurvedic principles of health along with traditional Chinese medicine lately. My Western lifestyle and how I’ve responded to it have compromised my health. I’ve seen a big difference following this advice and it’s made a big difference while quitting alcohol in my attempt to heal my poor liver - thank you so much.

    Pineal melatonin levels begin increasing in the late evening, reaching the maximum in the early hours between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m., followed by a slow decline to lower daytime levels.

    Hello ma'am. I have been watching your videos for months. I want a guidance regarding having meals on time. Me and my husband live with my in-laws. Because of that it's really impossible to have dinner before 11 p.m. no matter how much time we have tried to maintain a routine it's never worked out. Please guide us if it's any way possible to maintain a diet for weight loss with the late night dinner habit.

      You have to do it for yourself... Try reducing the time by one hour every other day.. start with before 10 pm..then 9.. and simultaneously reducing it to before 7 pm.. because the fact of sunset won't change for specially you😅😅 make it possible that is the only option.

    Milk is acidic in body. We are not calves so human beings should not be drinking milk!!! What’s with milk and Ayurvedic system???

    • @theyogainstituteofficial
      @theyogainstituteofficial  2 роки тому

      The property of milk is acidic but its alkaline for the body. Ayurved highly recommends consuming milk as it promotes ojas - optimises digestion. Only people with lactose intolerance need to avoid milk.

      🙏🏼Namasté. It is also important to note that a cow produces much more milk than even her calves need and continues to produce.
      I remember seeing a picture of a holy cow in India, decorated and standing free on the street, with a dog suckling milk from beneath her.
      All cows are holy because they continue to give give give and just eat grass/vegetation (naturally) but they have four stomachs to digest it.
      Their milk has been a supplemental addition to “mother’s milk” for centuries, and medicines are even made with it.
      One of my favorite oils for calming mind and body joint/muscles is made with cow’s milk.
      It is revered as a medicine, as food should be.
      Ghee is derived from butter which is derived from milk. Ghee is not only a cooking oil, but an “anupana” or carrier of herbs. It is used in herbal formulations as treatments, etc.
      Drop a drop of ghee on the skin; back of hand or forearm is fine and after a few minutes it will be completely absorbed and don’t worry, you won’t smell like popcorn. 😉
      But if you warm a few tablespoons of ghee (no microwave) and self-apply before a bath/shower, you will never need lotion again.
      (Please always use organic food; that’s where the nutrients are and the chemicals aren’t ;)
