I liked to much this video because I usually finished my last meal at 17:00 hs and when I do IF I use to take breakfast at 9:00, and that way is what I think much better. Habitually when couches talk about IF they speak of breakfast at 12:00 or 13:00 and last meal at 21:00 but I don’t fell well that way, and this time I think that I’m doing things the right way🙏🏾
I looked at a couple of other fitness programs for men over 40 or 50 and yours seems to be the most comprehensive in planning for results. Interesting video about how you developed your program. Thanks for some great videos. I may join soon.
Thank you @Adrian Van Leeuwen - I'm glad you have that perspective of the program. The intention is definitely to be the best and most comprehensive for our guys. I look forward to seeing you on the program soon. Just to be sure you have all the information, please check out www.fitfatherproject.com/ff30x-letter 🙏
I like the 16 / 8 IF window. The latest I ever eat is 8pm but try to get it in at 6pm. Sometimes work gets in the way. First meal is at noon. IF is very sustainable for me. I’ve done it for years at a time. Only jumping off briefly during holidays and special events to fit in better socially. Good info on the foods here. Thanks.
Yes, the 16/8 protocol is very popular and effective. I'm glad it has worked out for you. It's definitely one of the more sustainable IF protocols. We see that with our members here at the FFP. 👍
@Saman de Silva - Eating at 5pm should not have you waking up hungry in the night. If you do, the feeling should not last long. Your body will adapt to the change, and you will notice the sensation reduce over a few days.
No. The body kicks in some profound metabolic changes in times of prolonged food restriction when the mTor/AMP Kinase balance shifts. Calorie balance is a huge part of the equation for daily living… but it’s not the whole story.

@@Fitfatherproject I couldn't open the first two, the last was done in mice and still not conclusive by the looks of things. It's still calorie deficit that creates the effects and most is balanced out when feeding starts, and most people don't have cancer either, for instance. Not that it hurts to do short fast, but it seems to be nothing special once out of isolation and in humans. Maybe we'll know more in the future, I know some of the correlations is not yet understood on their own, so maybe that will give something.
I have found, with myself and clients, that sleep is a lot better with an earlier dinner.
Absolutely 🙌

If you have dinner at 5pm, won't you wake up hungry in the middle of the night? Any tips on how to avoid that?

These fallacies about IF need to stop... It's literally calorie balance that impacts the things mentioned.
