I have the same vehicle that needs a starter so I have to have it towed to the dealership everytime I go to put it in neutral the front wheels a locked up so I can't turn it how do I unlock the front wheels

This is exactly what’s wrong with my 2014 Cherokee.. Is there any way I can replace that part so it stops doing that? If so what’s the name of the part that needs to be replaced

Could be a blown fuse, a bad brake pedal switch or the motor that releases the shifter isn’t working. You can have a local mechanic check it for you. Not sure of the exact name of the part. If I see a video on that part I’ll share it with you.
