@@whoiamhowilive2746 2004? You just put the key into ingnition and hold the brake, manually shift into neutral. It just need power normally. If you got no power at all then that's different
Hi. Thanks for posting these videos. I have a 2016 Jeep grand cherokee that got stuck in 4x4 low. Button in the console is disable and cannot get it back to 2wd. Do you know if there is a way to disengage the 4x4 manually? just to be able to drive to a mechanic shop. Thanks in advance for your comments.
Have just bought a 2017 one of these... picked up yesterday and on looking around the car today noticed this case not sitting flush, moved it and now seen that this manual thing is broken?? Now whilst i know I will be contacting the garage... I an wondering how much it is to replace?? I'm UK
I need help, my car won’t reset to park after being in neutral override . The spring works but the lever doesn’t lock all the way down so I can start the car. Appreciate the video!
Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2014 I was able to set it to neutral by pulling the central console lever, but I cannot get it to move. the manual break is off. but is not moving. it has not been moved for over 6 months and the battery was dead.
Hmm, are you 100% sure the manual break is off? sometimes it can appear that way but its not fully released! You could have seized calipers causing the vehicle not to move. It would need to be checked in various places
Thank you, and eff Jeep for one of the dumbest designs of all time. So, someone runs out of gas and is blocking traffic, but instead of simply being able to selct nutral so the vehicle can be pushed to the shoulder you need special knowledge and tools ... You've got to be kidding me :/ When safety defeats safety ...

After getting into neutral and releasing e brake when you get out of car does e brake engage ?
