I grew up listening to Suzi, and watching her on Happy Days, and have always enjoyed her music ...but now I'm in love with this lady for her "No politics...I believe in democracy" statement. More "famous people" need to keep it to themselves, and just perform. Thanks Suzi, may you be belting out the tunes for many more years to come.
I love her I love her I love her, and totally, STILL in love with Suzi Quatro. I remember in 1974 (I was nearly 13) Listening to the Album at my older cousins house. That was it for me. Can the Can.
🤩- She is everything from one's youth in the 1970s, 80s and so on... until now through 60 years of powerful performance on stages around the world - so great done by her - we all love you Suzi!
such a positive human being she is. always has been. and i am still drowning in her big blue eyes as i was back in the seventies. great cat, great base player and an avantgarde for so many women in the rock industry. 👏👏👏❤
I am a 57 year old Australian Grandmother who thanks to my big brother was brought up on Miss Suzi Q's music, she is an amazing live performer who I have been lucky enough to see 3 times in the small regional town of Mudgee N.S.W. The last time I seen her was just over a decade ago and she was simply amazing, Suzi had the audience singing dancing and wanting so much more than the hours that she entertained us for. Most of the younger entertainers nowadays wouldn't even bother to play their music if they are not in huge arenas with dubbed tapes to make them sound better but put Suzi on any stage anywhere at any time and you can never deny she is anything but LEGENDARY,.
@ that’s a really odd response. You don’t know me. I think it’s safe to presume you’ve never met me and yet you say that people who do know me won’t remember me. You have no way of knowing that. If you feel the need to respond to a comment, then perhaps you should say something that isn’t nonsensical. All you have done is make yourself look childish and unintelligent.
I remember when Devil Gate Drive was a huge hit for Suzi. When I saw her on top of the pops I thought Who is that ? She was just fantastic. I even went out and bought the single. Years later I went to see her in an open air concert. Alvin Stardust was also on with Suzi. Both were just brilliant. I grew up listening to 70s performers like Suzi Quarto and Alvin Stardust. Both were part of the glam rock Era. The 70s were really special for me. The music was superb. Marc Bolam, David Bowie, Queen, Abba , Mud, Showadiwadi, and Gerry rafferty.
Trailblazer ! Great Gal. Already assured her place in rock history. She stamped her name on the 1970s. We kids who grew up in that period salute her. Looking forward to many more gigs & appearances 👍
Suzi is my first cousin, met her for the first time at a family picnic when we were about 7 years old. Have not seen her since, but she was a great little girl when we met. Very proud of her success.
@@deangriffith9116 No, have not seen her since the family reunion many moons ago. Just great memories. I am very proud of her, how she has done so well for herself.
Back in the 70’s RAK records had some great acts in the UK, Suzi Quatro was a big name and very popular………glad to see that she’s still doing it all these years later !!
I knew her songs because Veronika Fischer sang her songs. I lived in Poland then und my penpal from the German Dem. Rep. sent me a longplay by Veronika Fischer ( an Eastern hard rock lady). Suzi and Veronika were both amazing . ❤❤😊
I looked after Suzi when she was having her first child at Rush green hospital in Essex when I was a student midwife. She was really down to earth and delightful.
Saw Susie way back when she was doing a sort of activity competition at Butlins in Bognor Regis with, If my memory serves me , Graham Chapman, Lenny ? Forgot his surname and another young blonde guy who I think had a hit record. She had so much energy and let me tell you looked pretty great.
Fortunately old enough to have grown up with Maddy Prior, Sally Carr, Joan Jett.....and my biggest teenage voice crush Suzi Quatro. We didn't have TV, due to sanctions never knew what she looked like. But, fifty years later, Suzi has a very special safe corner in my heart, where she can kick off her boots, grab a guitar and rock until the cows come home. Suzi is part of who I am. Oh, and Kate Bush. The seventies had honest, unwoke rock, much better than the woke New Age "progressive" drivel of the 80's and 90's. Rockers are honest people.
im 61 i remember in 974 my dad plays guitar and he said wow a girl on a guitar was watching the clip devil gate drive found out later it was bass she played
AS A LITTLE BOY I LOVED TO PLAY SUZI QUATRO SO LOUD THAT SHE SOUNDED THROUGH THE WHOLE HOUSE! IT WAS A HOUSE OF FOUR APARTMENTS AND FOUR DIFFERENT FAMILIES! OF COURSE, I PUT MYSELF DELIBERATELY INTO TROUBLE!!!!BUT SUZI STILL LOOKS GOOD FOR HER AGE!
She wore a lovely bob cut in the 1990s and 2000s. Of course she was much younger, but it looked great. So beautiful. So feminine. It set off her big beautiful blue eyes.
@@elizagoodytwoshoes9140 It's not so much the cutting, it's the holding on to the same hairstyle you've worn for years, including when you were young. That ages you in a very unattractive way. Let it Go!!
Absolute legend and more importantly a very nice lady 💞
growing up in the 70's she was so kick ass for me, in the middle of rural Wales , UK would you believe! thank you Suzi. x

I bumped into her coming out of the BBC back in the early 80's and I can confirm she was one hot lady.

Suzi is definitely a legend and a great lady ❤ but Janice Joplin is the original rock Queen, thank you to both ladies ❤️❤️❤️
Saw Suzy perform live in Germany in the early 90's, she must have been mid 40's but she was dynamite !!!
She was great and I wanted to be just like her

Nope I’m not cutting my hair either just to look younger, no thanks it’s called aging on your own terms.

@@elizagoodytwoshoes9140 Good for you. Short hair doesn't make a woman look younger by the way, they often end up with the typical granny look.
Got 3 or 4 of her albums🎉✨🧨

Bravissima. Ciao
She's not in the Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame which seems kind of insane. But then, maybe she's too cool for it.
But her clone, Joan is !!
Go figure
@@ianhart4757 Yeah, and did she give a shout out to Suzi in her induction speech?
That's criminal. She was really instrumental in making it normal for women to front a rock band.
@@ianhart4757 Yeah really and nowhere near Suzi's league
@heather6668 Yep, her influence is everywhere! I think there's an elitist scene going on in the committee that are preventing her from being inducted.
I was utterly SMITTEN with Suzy when I was a teen….lol (Paul)
