Watching that woman from Emmerdale on Big Brother a few years ago, who tried to accuse that lad from Coronation Street of assault but we'd seen it all on screen and it was nothing of the sort, was terrible. Women who do this ruin the accused's life and discredit genuine female victims.
Yep, she was an oddball and a really dangerous woman. I'm glad her so-called acting career completely tanked after that fiasco. There was apparently another incident when she was at a race track event and the car that she was in spun off. No crash, no damage, nothing to report but she transformed it into a major traumatic incident and required immediate medical assistance. This gives you a measure of how her brain works and how she craves attention and sympathy and she doesn't care how it's achieved and who is affected. Definitely some kind of personality disorder going on there. She would have happily destroyed that actor's career and life from the Big Brother incident. Fortunately for him, she wasn't too bright and thought she could pull it off in front of a bunch of cameras.
That was terrible and so sad to watch @RockDove. Poor Ryan Thomas totally broke down on discovering her false claims . Had there not been cameras capturing the actual truth of the so called ‘incident’ & immediately clearing him, there could’ve been a completely different outcome. I am glad that Roxanne Pallett was publicly vilified and lost all future work offers.
Multiple victims of Savile, Harris, Brand & Glitter etc were & are accused of false allegations. Only 1 in 6 R victims report to the police. The CPS & police are the problem. Only 1% of R reports result in a conviction.
IF they have proven to be false which they haven't. Because sadly he is likely so emotionally drained, embarrassed and financially drained that he can’t face fighting on longer than absolutely necessary. Until you’ve been in that situation, you can’t even imagine the toll, confusion at what is going on and the why behind it. The stress because, often it is word on word and you have little way to prove your innocence and all your seeing is those believing the lie(s) and it really makes you feel helpless and that there is no hope. Often it’s an allegation and the accuser will generally have multiple expert witnesses, the main witness which is the person making the allegation and the investing officers backing the alleged victim. All just opinion, however if the performance of the accuser is Oscar worthy & their behaviour is ticking the boxes of a genuine victim & all your able to do is say “I didn’t do this” then that is how risky convictions occur, on opinion and words alone. Rare to get a conviction that way but it does happen. Financial motive and if the accuser and accused know each other, sometimes it is purely out of maliciousness to get back at the accused.
I do not understand terminating a contract over an allegation. You should be suspended through protocol while the investigation is carried out and then terminated if found guilty. Absolutely disgusting process

Why didn’t the alleged victim report him years ago? Or at least the last stint Sean did in Corrie in 2018 she could have reported it then if she wasn’t ready in the 90s to report it.
this is an extremely stupid argument that i cannot believe that anyone with a brain would still be making in 2024. MOST victims do NOT report people when it happens. Not everyone has the confidence to do so. Please go and read victim accounts to see why. Nobody wants to lose their job or be ostracised so they wait. I have been here! All because I committed the cardinal sin of refusing the advances of a woman at a barbecue. This had obviously NEVER happened to her before! I refused her advances because: A) She was not my type. B) She was drunk. C) She was rude. After this she started a dedicated blog detailing what 'we' had got up to that night. She had written an horrific account as to my actions that night, (I politely fought off a slobbering drunk woman and went home alone). I ended up receiving death-threats by email and post and she gave my address away. She would send people to my home at 3am yet she had NOT gone to the police. But, armed with a boxed of printed out threats and lies I went to the cops here in France and NOT taking it seriously they said and I quote "Wouldn't it have been easier to have ###### her?" (Imagine flipping the sexes there?) Luckily, about three months in she tripped up and in an email asked me "Why didn't I want to sleep with her that night?" BOOM!!! There it was. But in the meantime she had posted my name everywhere and accused me of the most despicable act. This was a legal minefield, and I could see there plain and simply wasn't the framework to protect someone in this situation. The abuse stopped, and after wondering why six months later I googled her, and I couldn't believe it... there was her obituary in the paper. Anyway, all I will say to anyone in this situation is, GATHER ALL YOUR EVIDENCE. Delete NOTHING!! I believe that in law, if anyone makes such accusations which are wholly false, the accuser should stand to do the time the accused would do were they found guilty, oh and Zero anonymity from the start, because NO adult should be able enter into a legal fight without standing to lose an equal amount, and that MUST INCLUDE ones reputation. Edit: touched her on top of her jeans sometime in 1997 no witnesses versus ITV version of putting his hand up her skirt and having a « rummage around’m so a jealous loser contacted the show and the police out of envy and malice. Why aren’t the police going after her for saying that to ITV. There needs to be a protocol that this has to be reported to the police and will not be pursued if complainants go to x company and/or media. Some very messed up people out there.

So which is it, he stuck his hand up her skirt for a rummage, or he touched her over her jeans? How dumb of itv to think an allegation is sent straight to cps, no questions asked, literally! Haven't they done enough police and detective dramas not to know the protocol. As soon as I heard the, "personal reasons," I knew an accusation of assault had been made, it was just a case of waiting. I hope Sean's acting career picks up now, but that person who made the accusation needs to be investigated. Those who have genuinely been assaulted will find more difficult to be believed because of false alligations made by idiots.
And the poor man who was accused had a mental break down abd lit his family. The one woman admitted to it after a while that she lied to get back at him, and the other was a mental health patient who liked to accuse and flirt with men. She ended up in a mental hospital. The poor men she accysed, one committed suicide so YES, I think there should be punishment for false accusations. If you steal, there is a punishment... Accusing someone of rape, when they are innocent is wrong too.. especially if they are innocent. I ve been a victim of sexual abuse also, but accusing someone who is innocent is wrong because it can stop real cases to be persecuted. It should be considered a crime.
Now you MUST sue that person for slander/libel and defamation of character , PLUS pursue her for loss of earnings suffered and mental anguish....These people who make false allegations MUST be shown that their actions have serious consequences
Men should not be named until proved guilty, how many ruined careers has there been over false accusations. This ruins it for real victims and gets women a bad name. 😡😡

R is under reported due to a victim blaming culture.
The police are faulty, hundreds reported Paul Carrick,Savile, Harris etc.
What can he sue this person for she hasn’t gone public or made any statements.
because she might not be lying?

But, armed with a boxed of printed out threats and lies I went to the cops here in France and NOT taking it seriously they said and I quote "Wouldn't it have been easier to have ###### her?" (Imagine flipping the sexes there?)
Luckily, about three months in she tripped up and in an email asked me "Why didn't I want to sleep with her that night?"
BOOM!!!

Sean so proud of you for putting this situation onto UA-cam. More and more men need to tell their stories on UA-cam.
A man’s life is in ruins before he is charged with any crime. What is this country coming to when you are guilty in the eyes of your employer before you are charged and convicted. I hope he can rebuild his life and career now I wish you all the luck in the world my friend
He comes across as a really genuine guy. Hope the acting opportunities return for him!
How gracious Sean is considering what he and his family has been through. ITV need to be better because how could something be referred to the CPS when the alleged perpetrator hasn’t been questioned.
You’re incredibly arrogant. Seek help
