    I use the fetch app already and it tends to give better points if you buy processed brand name food products. It will also give points for non food items that are brand names but if your buying foods you make from scratch or a generic food you will earn points but its so much less than with the brand name food items. Thank you for the inside tip of when they mark clearance down.

      Thanks for sharing that information. I wondered that as well. I am a generic Chopper and a whole food Shopper most of the time myself. Now I'm wondering if it takes forever to build up many points do they expire before you can use them?

    i LOVE Clearance shopping! I didnt know the first 5 days of a month is when clearance hits! Thank you so much for sharing that. I will be keeping an eye out each week when I do my Walmart Hauls.

      Clearance is marked down at all times of the month. And the stickers aren't updated on clearance bc they won't employee enough people to keep up with things like that.

    I have a tip too. Coffee at Walmart specifically kcup coffee is usually more expensive than at other stores because Walmart considers it to be a "luxury item"

    • @briannaellis3542

      Really?! Where’s the best place to get kcups?

      Brianna Ellis at least where I live, it’s big lots on their full store sale days. I get a case, and it lasts me until the next sale.

      But when they clearance they are the cheapest. I got 32 pack of Starbucks kcups for $5. And just yesterday got their brand mocha machiacto 12 kcups pack for $1. This month has been great for clearance at Walmart.

      I thought their prices were high on k- cups. Good to know. My Walmart, you can only get 24-36 count. OMG the price is rediculous. I leave it in the store.

      I never buy coffee kcups at Walmart, ever. I always get my kcups at a local grocery store.

    My best Walmart tip is doing Grocery pickup or their grocery delivery (Walmart plus). If they don’t have the exact item you want, they’ll usually give you another brand or similar item but will always give you more and for the lowest price between the item you wanted vs the item they gave you. This usually results in getting more for way less! While Walmart plus costs $99 a year, as a mom of little ones it’s totally worth not having to wait in the car at grocery pick up. Also, you can easily return items that don’t meet your satisfaction. So far, all my returns they have just given me a credit and did not ask for the item back so if it’s somewhat usable, you can keep and use the item. My last tip is using the Shopkick app where you can get points for what you buy but you can also scan items in the store if you have extra time. You get points also just by walking in the store and opening the app. Then you can get gift cards with those points. I also use fetch rewards so I have 2 apps I earn gift cards on.

      @rachaelt3294 3 роки тому +2

      Ask when they do inventory. 2-3 months prior they will alway liquidate what they can into a clearance aisle or center walkway, for clothes racks. Each store has a different date for inventory depending in when the store was built. Also corporate usually does large markdowns and rollbacks the first week of every month. Most stores have a designated clearance aisle. Try to walk is once over each time you go, but only by what you will use. I've got great deals on things and never used them... lol ♡

    Tip I learned about buying online - search for what you want and then scroll down - on the left it will start to show all sellers. Choose Walmart as your seller and then it brings up ONLY the items sold/shipped by Walmart. Then there's no confusion about other sellers and what their return policies might be. Thanks for the video

    Learned a lot from you. My nearest Walmart's clearance is a joke. I found out that they put clearance tags with original price. I saw a better homes and garden table lamp with clearance price $49.95. when I searched online, the original price is $49.95 and clearance price was $14.98 in another store. I asked an employee, she was a total ignorant and told me that they don't do online price match. I have checked other items with clearance tag but with original price. The clearance tag always mention the original price but some clearance tags don't include original price and this is the indication that the clearance price is not really a discount price. I was surprised how wal-mart cheating with their customers.

    Ahh this is making so much sense already, we have 2 local WMs and one will have stuff on clearance but the exact same items will still be full price at my other store. I always thought that was odd, lol. Happens a LOT here I have noticed! I know which is my better store to shop at for clearance, luckily it's the one closer to my home anyways. I guess they're equal distance from me but the one that is easier and more convenient to get to is usually the cheaper one for clearance buys.

    Your #8 secret was: sometimes items are cheaper on walmart.com than in the store, but did you mention that if you find the item you want in store, take it to the cashier & tell them it's cheaper on walmart.com, (show them the app) and they'll give it to you for the lower price? We learned that from an employee when my husband was buying stuff from the hunting & fishing section.

    • @ryanflores3432
      @ryanflores3432 3 роки тому +5

      That is actually not true just because one Walmart allowed you to price match does not mean you can go to all Walmarts and get price matched. Walmart stopped price matching about a year and a half ago all together and they did away with their savings catcher at the same time

    • @kimpatton7085

      In order to do this effectively one must make at minimum 100k combined (if married/partnership) after taxes and medical benefits in order to be able to have 70k available (whether its saved the same year or not). Someone who only makes 30k in a year could achieve this just based on the blatant fact that 30 is more than half less than 70. Just saying.

      Get Dave Ramsey's book called The Total Money Maker. I just started reading it. I made my budget, my envelopes, cut up our 4 credit cards, and we will be out of debt by Christmas 2021 or sooner. It is a great book and has budget plans to follow. We had no budget, no emergency cash fund, no money saved, nothing and we are going to be retiring and moving in a year and a half. Scary.

      @mrsdv 3 роки тому +10

      @@j.t.masters1934 Actually, not necessarily true. We have paid off 29k so far since April. Yes, we make about 100k combined between my husband and I, but we got on a budget, we've cut back on a ton of stuff and we've actually followed Ramsey's baby steps (and not even to a T). It can absolutely be done because my sister also completed it and she doesn't make 100k. It is very much possible.

    Good tips! I actually already had Fetch Rewards on my phone, but you encouraged me to try again. I found it to be a bit cumbersome the last time, but why not get a gift card for shopping 😊?

    It's also important to check if things are not sold through Walmart for another reason: Shipping cost! I had a bigger order a while ago and was confused why the total price was so much higher than I expected. Turns out I missed that one item was not sold through Walmart and that one alone would have cost me nearly 30$ in shipping cost 0.o

    U look pretty today, Callie.
    Another tip when buying electronics from Walmart.com, is to not pick a marketplace seller if u buy it online, in case something goes wrong. And I usually get the extended warranty. And check the reviews.
    If u buy a tablet, be sure u r getting the most current version. (I made that mistake and had to return it.)
    Sometimes customer service has a different line for online returns.
    I usually stop by the clearance section.

    Ahh! I got the Fetch Rewards app after watching a past video (the code gave me 2000pts). Love it!! I have over 7K points already and have had it less than a month. What I hate about it is that it shows me how much I’ve spent lol 😂 😳 not a number you want to be reminded of lol 😂 but seriously, a great and easy app to use!! Thanks for the tips! I frequent WM and these were helpful! I used to shop solely at Target and knew all of their little secrets too!! ❤️
