I am not ashamed to say I eat Fast Food often so I was determined to hunt down some fast food secrets and fast food hacks. If you've been wondering about how to save money on fast food or restaurant hacks then this video is for you. People always ask me for fast food deals today and fast food secrets to save you money. A lot of people think the prices are set at fast food restaurants but im here to tell you there are mcdonalds secrets and chick fil a secrets!
In this video The Deal Guy is showing you the 10 fast food secrets that are hacks to save you money! These fast food menu secrets allow you to modify certain items to make it cheaper but still the same if that makes sense. This 10 secrets are similar to my shopping secrets but all secrets about fast food.

The ice at Starbucks is so delicious! It’s filtered with silver. Actually never buy a bottle of water at Starbucks unless you really need the bottle. Get a free cup of water with ice. The water is filtered, as is the ice. (Some places do charge for water.)
I worked at Starbucks for 6 years. There are are some hacks that are really annoying to baristas, like three shots over ice in a venti cold cup. Then you file the cup with milk at the condiments bar. Milk is the most expensive ingredient at Starbucks. If you get all that milk for free, eventually the prices go up.
The ice tea mix is double strength, ask for no water in your ice tea, then go home and add water. Get two iced teas for the price of one.
A hundred years ago Mad Magazine had a comic with two guys on line at a fast food place. One turns to the other and says "I always customize my order. That way they have to make it fresh". Next frame shows the fast food worker in the back talking to his buddy, "I hate it when they customize their order. That means I have to unwrap this burger, scrape the pickles off and re-wrap the whole thing."

@@klx400sr69 -- Might have worked. But if I were a company, just make them a new burger. The cost of bad press, reputation, far exceeds the cost of a burger. I for one, just because watching that woman fight for air, I haven't eaten at What-a-burger since.
Some people customize because they can’t eat certain things. If someone is allergic to it scraping it off would still have some of the product on it. They should be making a fresh item.
@@Erin-Thor part of the problem is that when you do make them a new burger, customers accuse you of scraping stuff off anyway and lock you into an argument you have no way out of. Not many are so bad that it's actually a problem, but it's damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't. This is why I train cashiers to ask, rather than "would you like us to correct your order" or anything else, the specific wording "would you like us to make you a fresh one?" It may seem like a small, unimportant thing, but it goes a long way in developing trust.
My husband always orders a Big Mac with no lettuce. That's how he knows it's cooked fresh.
Showing my age, but during discussion of the Big Mac, I started singing, “Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.” Lol

I've actually weighed it. You always get more food with the Chipotle Burrito Bowl than their Burrito. You can even feel the obvious difference if you order one of each. Second tip, if you order a two item combo or more at Panda Express, if you get it to go (large styrofoam tray), they usually pack it with more food then when using a dine in plate.

You can add a tortilla with your burrito bowl for free I believe, if not then a $1 at most.
Get the bowl and tell them you'd like the tortilla on the side it's the same price
I work at starbucks.... and most light ice drinks just add more milk, like a latte.... it will only have 2 shots of espresso in a grande iced and 3 in a venti iced (both venti and grande hot are only 2 shots!). All your changing is the flavor ratio of the drink. Chai latte again less ice more milk. Frappuccino less ice makes it airy, and if you add a hot shot of espresso it melts it ... making a mess of a drink to put any whipped cream, and very unappealing. I have people do both and request whip and it just sinks into the abyss.
The better hacks for starbucks are drink specific... like ordering a latte with added Chai instead of a dirty Chai.

ALSO- chipotle: you can order extra of everything except protein & guacamole & it’s FREE/no extra charge....so, my family of 4 orders 2 bowls with extra everything. Then we add double meat which is around $2. So essentially we get 4 bowls for the price of 2 plus the extra protein cost :) if we buy 4 bowls it’s typically $40+ ... this option gets basically the same amount of food for around $25

I've seen a lot of people say that one burrito bowl is enough to fill 2 huge burritos. They'll typical give you the tortillas for free, so buying the bowl is almost 50% cheaper than the 2 burritos 😊

Active Burger King employee here, the first hack in this video is entirely untrue for BK. When you alter an order, it gets put on the same screen for the kitchen as all of the other orders from the front counter or drive through, same goes for mobile or delivery orders. That means that we make it in the same rotation with the other orders, and use the same meat we would use as if it were a drive through order. If you want it fresh, ask for it cooked off the broiler or off the fryer at the speaker or register. There is a button for fresh off broiler or fryer in the order taker system and it shows up as “off broiler/fryer” on our screen in the kitchen. Here’s a real hack for you: If you want the whopper (or whopper sized sandwich) to actually be seasoned, ask for extra seasoning. A lot of kitchen workers skip seasoning the patties because it’s an extra step, and the orders are done faster without it.

At Applebee's, order the bourbon chicken and shrimp but substitute your side item for cilantro rice once it is brought to your table, ask for a salad bowl. Put rice on the bowl and add the chicken and shrimp. You get more rice and it is actually delicious. Still the same money, but seems more and taste great.

Honestly, simple hack if you must buy tea or coffee.Get a medium without ice. Ask for a small cup of ice.Then you’ll have great ice coffee/tea without it getting watered down or less of the item.
@@flamencomagick3260 I never ask for drinks with ice. They are already cold and you get much more bang for your buck. My sister and I have a code phrase in case I am carjacked. Its "give me extra ice" for this very reason.
I've always avoided Starbucks after my initial visit in 1993, when they were new in L.A., and wanted to try it. The coffee was burned, bitter tasting and expensive. People still treat Starbucks as this posh, 'exclusive' place, and it's not. There are more common than McDonald's and Burger King put together! It might have had a novelty aspect to it in the '90s, but that was decades ago now.
I work at Burger King.. a regular hamburger is .90(here in Ga) and a whopper jr is 2.05 get the HAMBURGER and modify burger to have mayo, ketchup, pickle, lettuce, tomato and onion, and BAM, whopper Jr for .90(sometimes 1.05 for added tomato)!! You're welcome!

Why does almost everyone LOVE the TASTE of burger king MSG sprinkled burgers, but almost everyone has a stomach distress story associated with same. This goes all the way back to when I was a kid. I loved their burgers...but my otherwise cast iron constitution did NOT.

DQ actually has a great tasting burger in my opinion, it’s usually always fresh. And they even have a bundle meal for I think six dollars and it’s got fries, a burger(not a runty one either), a small blizzard and a drink. It’s a steal and delicious too, highly recommend!

I've never had their burgers but I LOVE their fish sandwiches. Expensive though.
Where I live it's an extra dollar if you want the blizzard rather than the sundae that normally comes with the meal.
I always ask for light, or sometimes even no ice, wherever I am. I have always disliked paying for water, which can be mostly what you get in the form of loaded up ice in your drinks if you don't say anything.
I only discovered you not that long ago and I find your videos informative and entertaining, and your always-positive energy is a real inspiration.
Oh! When I was growing up in Bermuda, we used to get something called a "Dusty Road." It was a fudge sundae made with malt powder. My daughter tipped me off to how to get one of these at Dairy Queen. I ask them to make me a Peanut Buster but with malt powder instead of peanuts. I tell them to replace the peanuts with the malt powder. That's it! Yum! It does not save any money, but it is delicious!

No, the McDonald’s Big Mac and Double cheeseburger do not only differ because of ketchup vs. Special sauce. There’s lettuce on one and not the other. Also no sesame seed bun.
...And (my daughter who works at McD’s) the special sauce addition is 50 cents (not a free add on).

So for you its just about numbers and size of a portion and not about actual taste of the food ? Interesting philosophy.
The simplest fast food secret is that beverages are the center for profits, so get your food and either have a cold one already in hand or go home to have it. Drinks in general, and mixed(from powder) are particularly profitable, i.e. iced or hot tea or coffee.

The first tip about customizing the order I learned from fellow workers when I worked at McDonalds. They said always order the fries with no salt so they have to be made just for you, then get some salt packets 😆 Great lesson!
Worked at mcdonalds for a stint and hate this so much. If you do this please only do it if there is no line. Like he said the food is being made fresh at rush hour anyways.
Their synthetic fries last months in the garbage can without decaying even the seagull don't go near them !
Or you can tell them to just drop fresh fries. They have to due to policy

all they do is drop them back in the oil it reheats them and clears off the oil at same time.

My husband's Taco Bell hack 😂 is this, he likes to have 2 or 3 hard tacos supreme and nachos that have a little more toppings than the plain nachos SO instead of buying a nachos supreme or bell grande he orders his usual, 3 hard tacos Supreme and a regular nachos. He then proceeds to eat the hard tacos over the nachos lol and after 3 tacos worth of dropping lettuce, meat, and tomatoes on top 👌 it's a pretty impressive plate of nachos 😋 lol!

Hey! Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I'm a former member of management at Chick-fil-A. The strips are in a different marinade. Your hack sounds good if you're hungry and want something from Chick-fil-A, but most people go there because there's just something about the taste of their chicken sandwich that can't be duplicated easily. Just thought I'd mention that. You can always "test" my comment by purchasing one Chick-fil-A breast (no bun), and 1 strip. You'll definitely taste a difference.

I can taste the difference, even though I always delete the pickle. I REALLY prefer the strips, so this is a great hack for me when I want a bun. I think the marinade is Awfull, didn't realize that's why I don't like the nuggets and sandwiches. Great information so we can get what we like best. Thanks.
My favorite go-to at McDonald's is to order their $3.00 Double cheese burger combo with small fries. I then ask them to hold the mustard and ketchup, add Big Mac sauce and shredded lettuce. They charge 30c extra for each. Add a drink and I spend $4.66 w/tax for my whole lunch. I don't like all the extra bread in a Big Mac, but I love the flavor - so I get the best of both worlds for less cost.
I have the same pet peeve about the ice in drinks at Stbx. My hack is order my drink with NO ice and order a glass of ice water on the side. The ice water is free and now you have a cup of ice to pour your drink over. You’ll get two drinks out of any size you order. And, if you decide to split it in half with someone, you already have the 2nd glass and ice! The other hack is if you order a venti sized hot tea, they use two tea bags. You really only need one. Ask them to just use ine and give you the second teabag on the side.
My husband LOVES the pecans (sweet & slightly spicy) that come with the Wendy’s apple pecan chicken salad, so he always asks for a “few extra” pecans. They have never charged extra for them. ALSO-he asks for “a couple of packets” of those pecans when he goes back for a Frosty for dessert. He loves to sprinkle the pecans into the Frosty as he eats, thereby creating his own yummy concoction!

@@gilbertos1984 to be fair, you can ask for light ice. I personally work as a barista and I always try to get the customer to say light ice. The times some don’t and come back demanding less ice afterwards (despite me suggesting light ice) makes me face palm

Just found your channel and I love your enthusiastic hacks, even tho this one is older. So I subscribed!
We went to McDonalds in Vancouver, WA.to try your suggestion. We ordered two McDoubles for $2.19 each, and asked them to put their BigMac sauce on both. We did not ask them to hold the catsup and mustard, but they did anyway. They added less than 1/4 teaspoon of the MacSauce and charged an additional $.60, plus $.05 tax for each burger, for an additional charge of $1.30 for 1/4 teaspoon of sauce. The burgers are too dry to even eat as is. We are not happy McDonald customers.
Next time try asking to “substitute” the Mac sauce for ketchup! 😀
I worked for a fast food company years ago. The small drink with no ice filled the next cup size up with full ice, and same with the medium( no ice) filled the " biggie" size drink with ice. Just another thing to know.
The only thing with getting 2 proteins at Chipotle's is they charge for the most expensive one, so make sure they're close in price to make it worth it.

He had me confused about order 2 proteins. Easier to ask for "Half & Half" of 2 different ones. Chipotle Worker- "What kind of protein would you like?" Me- "I'd like 1/2 Chicken and 1/2 Steak." It makes sense that you'll probably end up with more that way. Good idea!

The ice hack from Starbucks works for almost every coffee place. I sometimes ask for no ice at Dunkin Donuts especially since I still get the largest and it lasts me all day. If I got ice it would get watered down by the end. Love your tips, by the way! The McNugget one is one that I noticed years ago especially as a former manager trainee who was super skilled on the grill. Never understood why people didn't order the larger order. McNuggets reheat really well if you spritz them with a little water and heat them in the microwave or toaster oven.
If you ever saw how McNuggets are actually made, you would stick with chicken tenders.
I have done that for years at Dunkin since they brew the coffee and add ice into the iced coffee container watering it down enough also I would buy my ice coffee in the evening put it in the fridge and that way I would avoid the morning rush on my way to work while enjoying my iced coffee.

Thanks ! Just want to say, sometimes 11 cents does change things for a person. Sure, just one time purch may not matter; but in my case it will. I am elderly widow, must get others to get my food for me. I purchase enough food for 5 to 8 days at a time and usually get one choice because ppl doing favors don't have time to order different things. My cat can only eat can food, it sounds cheap at 78 cents per can; but he is a big eater and goes through 28 to 30 cans per Week! $33.00 a week when dry food was $25.00 per Month. Thanks for all your hard work!
This "hack" I discovered at a small local restaurant where I used to live in Maryland ...
They offerred either a cup of soup or a bowl of soup (for about a dollar more) ...
But, the bowl was a very SHALLOW dish with a deceiving depth for your extra dollar ...
Because one day one person at my table ordered the bowl and I ordered the cup ...
And, when we finished our soups ... I poured a glass of water into the cup ... and, then I poured the cup of water into the bowl ...
And, the volume of the bowl (for that extra dollar) was identical to the volume of the cup ...
So, wherever you find both a bowl and a cup of something ... beware of the possible difference or equality of volumes between the two ... and, SAVE A BUCK or MORE !!!
This is absolutely true. The same thing happens at the place where my husband works. The redeeming factor is that the bowl of soup gets A LOT (for real though) more bread and expensive cheese for the topping on the French Onion.
I have a neighbor who used to work for Denny's and she said that at that time the difference between a cup and a bowl there was two tablespoonfuls.

A few more..
1. DQ lets you order most of their previous menu Blizzards, as well. (Not necessarily seasonal things like the cotton candy Blizzard.) The newer employees may not know the names, but can still make them.. like a choco cherry love - essentially chocolate bark pieces, cherries, and cherry syrup.
2. At Taco Bell, ordering a regular crunchy taco and adding tomatoes will cost you more than ordering a crunchy taco supreme without sour cream.
3. Happy hours rock! Taco Bell and Sonic have cheaper drinks during certain times, and Arby's has an impressive HH menu with a little of everything (fries, shakes, sodas, sliders, etc).
Sorry but Dairy Queen’s in Texas don’t have cherry sauce anymore. We discontinued it. We have the chocolate covered strawberries though
😍 watching all your videos. I found Culver’s has really good fried shrimp at a good price (at the time of my comment ). I haven’t compared to, say Red Lobster, but they seem to be whole (not chopped) shrimp.

We had a national sales meeting and one of the awards was a cheap sports coat. When I left I saw several homeless people in the area wearing these cheap sport coast. I am sure management was not very happy about that.

I do the "half chicken half steak" hack all the time, thanks, good one. I have another Chiptole hack:
*If you like Chiptole tacos* you can get two meals in one by ordering a burrito bowl, then ask for a side of 3x taco shells and a spoon. Once you spoon your bowl food into your tacos you have more than half a bowl left! Save it for the next meal! They always put the taco shells in an extra bowl and I have never once been charged for them (but wouldn't care if they did, if it's not the cost of tacos).
Same goes when getting the flour tortilla, unlimited for free.

Sams has a Members Mark version of the Chick Fil A sandwich that is really good. We use the air fryer instructions, add dill pickle slices and a little mayo and they are delicious. A box of 10 is $19.98, so its a pretty good deal. They have gone up recently but still worth it. They are not as good with the microwave instructions. A great convenience item for a good knockoff sandwich

I buy the double Cheseburger w/only pickles, Add Lettuce & Xtra Mac Sauce. & I also get a Mac Sauce on the Side so I get way more Mac Sauce on the burger it Tastes Amazing I Love It !!! :)
I order the McDouble “dressed as a Big Mac” which deletes ketchup and mustard and adds shredded lettuce and Mac sauce. It adds about .25 in my town, but it’s so worth it!
They add thirty cents for Mac sauce, and another thirty cents for lettuce....They're on to us
I rarely go to McDonalds, but sometimes I'm hungry & they're the closest cheap meal. I order the double, then ask for extra ketchup & mayo. Slather it on & mix it up myself on the bun. Pretty close. If they don't have mayo, take tartar sauce--with ketchup it becomes thousand island dressing...again, similar to Mac sauce.

FYI, McDonald's pricing can vary from location to location (even within the same city). In the city where I live, they do charge when you substitute Big Mac sauce for catsup on their regular and double cheeseburgers (a substitution I've been doing for years).
One McDonald's hack I've found: Do not always order a combo as sometimes it may actually cost a bit more than if you ordered items individually. Don't be afraid to do the math. There was even a lawsuit regarding this I read about a few years back. McDonald's, I believe, won it under the "buyer beware" principle.
The McDonald’s in New Mexico sells a basket of fries for $3. I went to arizona & asked for a basket of fries the worker was so confused he thought I lost my marbles 🤣

I have lite ice everywhere especially when the price is up and it's gone inb3 gulps! !!! Also becyz I love peanut butter sauce and hot fudge on my vanilla ice crem, I do the same thing as the protein scoop. I ask for half pbs and half hf... best of both, same price, heaven in a cup!

I worked at McDonald's, the sandwiches are actually made to order every time. It's quite the opposite actually, the ones that sit on the hotplate are made at rush hour to help prevent a holdup when it's busy.

You can sub round or scrambled if you don't want the folded egg. The folded egg is the only egg not cooked fresh but comes frozen. All sandwiches are made to order nothing premade under hot lights. They stopped doing that early 2000 if I remember correctly. My daughter is a manager I ask all kinds of questions.
Yeah, most places haven't been premaking the sandwiches in years and years. When I worked at Hardee's (Carl's Jr) in high school in the 90s we stopped making in advance back then.

@@deenielord1637 the breast filets are not seasoned prior to being soaked in the special milk wash and then coated in the special seasoned coating. The strips (used to be) marinated for at least 12 hours in a special seasoning mix (1 part), 2 cups of pickle juice, and 3 quarts of water. Now the straps come premarinaded...but the seasoning mixture is still the same.

OMG Cumberland Farms still exists? That and Friendly's Fishamajig platter... good times..... GOOD TIMES is a different place..... burger chain out west. You can get some of the BEST coffee at gas stations these days. Many have the 1.00 any size deal, otherwise 1-3 dollars...... it is vendng machine, but it is really good vending machine coffee. Kicks Starbucks ASS.... but you have to climb over drunks and addicts, dodge panhandlers outside.... it's really not the atmosphere we seek for a coffee break. Starbucks has excellent interior design.
Or on the west coast, extra mile. They have Seattles Best, which is decent coffee for $1. They even had syrups at one I went to.

I've been doing light ice for years. Too much ice hurts my teeth. They never seem to get it right here and get snarky when I send it back, so I've learned to say no ice. It's cool enough for me, and if I'm taking it home it won't get watered down from ice. I swear I'm going to count out the perfect number of cubes and order that way!
@@rms5993 no ice is the way to go. I know people are addicted to super-cold drinks, but lower temperatures mute the flavors and are harder on your throat. There is no trade-off, no ice is just better in every way as far as I'm concerned.
I've been ordering no ice for forever in my drinks. I usually get a cold brew anyway, and can add ice if I want. Ice is a rip off tactic that ALL restaurants employ.
When I ran a food truck that sold iced coffee, we made is extra strong, so as the ice melts, it doesn't get watered down, and we can bring/ sell more of it. "Light ice" people would always get mad that it was too strong.
Haven't been to Chipolte in a bit, but I also found that the best value is the bowl with both kinds of beans for the same reason. They don't measure

heres a hack i figured out on my own. order the mcdouble cheeseburger and in the drive thru tell them to substitute ketchup and mustard w mac sauce. when you sub you get it for free. if you say no ketchup etc add mac then you are charged for it. enjoy youre cheap big macs everyone. ive been doing it for years

Have your son order the Daily Double. It may or may not be on the menu, but if it is, it'll be roughly the same price.
A Daily Double is two slices of regular beef patties, one slice of cheese, sliced onions, shredded lettuce, two slices of tomato, and Mayo. If you want minced onions, ask for Sub Dehydrated Onions; if you want Pickles, as for Add Pickles, and the same for Ketchup and Mustard.

Enjoy your videos. I love Tim Hirton’s but there is one item I do not like; their ice coffee. They use shaved ice instead of cubes so if you took out the shaved ice you would only be getting a quarter cup of coffee in it. They will not allow you to have it with less ice either.
Also, my favorite fast food place used to be KFC until they discontinued the potato wedges; now I rarely go there and order more frequently from Wendy’s.
Does anyone remember when McDonalds had the Big N Tasty? That might have been their best burger they ever had.
I can tell you, a thing or two about those burger’s! This is 💯% the truth. My mom took over my Uncle’s Bar for a time, she could buy those type of burgers at a Ohio Company called JTM Meats, way before they came to McDonald’s, my mom would buy them as well as Sesame seed buns and, basically served them the same way as McDonald’s did before they had them. My mom was buying them at JTM meats store long after she sold the restaurant. The reason McDonald’s no longer have them on the menu it, was probably because, the meat company’s quit making them. Here’s the the thing JTM makes all there meat patties the same as those basically, there still have them, in square patty, which was there original size beef Patty to begin with. ( I believe) there still out there.

The kiosks in CT don't allow you to add the Big Mac sauce to anything other than customizing how much of it you do or don't want on your Big Mac. You have to ask for that customization at a counter with a live person if you want to add it to any other sandwich (*which I do).

I order all my drinks no ice. Fountain drinks are always refrigerated anyway, and I hate the taste of watered down soda.
They don't put more soda in your cup if you ask for no ice though.

Favorite fast food - Arby's Wagyu Steakhouse Burger - extra veggies, sauce on the side [so I can dip it in Horsey Sauce] This was Arby's 1st burger. It was taken off the menu but now back by popular demand. They advert that it's a blend of 51% American Wagyu Beef/49% regular ground Beef. It's YUM!

I always get a kids meal at Culver's. I can add whatever I want to the burger condiment wise, its a small fry but not much smaller than the regular. Small drink, but, they let you redeem the "prize" which is a cup of their frozen custard, any flavor you want! Kid's meal is $4.99 VS $7-8 for a regular combo, and no custard!

I used to split the nuggets with a coworker. In my area, Papa John’s has a lunch special that’s not on the menu. You get a small one topping and a soda for $6 and it was always enough to split between 2 or 3 people.

4:15 Not to mention the extra bun in the Big Mac (I guess you can take the bottom bun of one and use it), it also has lettuce which the Double Cheeseburger does not have. As for the cost, Two Double Cheeseburgers (at a dollar each) are a quarter of the cost of the four dollar Big Mac.
I lived on McDonald's Double. Cheeseburger road food for awhile. Then they took off a slice of cheese and called it McDouble to keep the 99¢ price. Did this for years. Happened to look at the price of a Big Mac and Quarter Pounder after years of not paying attention. DAYUM!!!
Double cheeseburger is now around $2.
I just don't eat at McDonald's much anymore and mainly eat at home with todays prices. Covid lockdown helped me form the habit.

I’m sort of a shoulin shopper myself. A few months ago when I still ate fast food. I discovered you can order a $2 whopper on whopper Wednesday at BK through their app. I ordered a whopper from one location picked it up that day, I also ordered one from another Bk uptown but I picked it up on Thursday. The order stays in the Que until you arrive, then they prepare it🤘

I dont know if it is in your area but all the McDonalds around here, if you get a 10 piece nugget you get 2 dipping sauces, but if you get a 20 piece you get 3 sauces and they automatically charge you .30 cent for the 4th sauce!! I don't know when this changed but they are making probably thousands if not millions by doing this! See if you can find anything about this. Thank you Jeff R.
Also, they do the 20 pc for $5 because you can’t do a meal for that. The 10 pc as a meal is like a $1.50 more but it comes with fries and drink. If you do that separately you could be paying up to like $5-$6 more than you would for a 10pc meal. Most people won’t just eat chicken they want drinks and fries. It’s of course, McDonald’s
A hack I like to use at Starbucks is asking for a venti iced (drink of choice) w/no ice or whip cream and 2 grande cups of ice. I end up with 2 drinks for the price of one and I even have a little left over.

At Chick-fil-A you can ask for fries no salt and you get fresh fries. Put your own salt on them. Also Costco sells a chicken breast chunks by Just Bare that taste identical to Chickfila’s nuggets.
At Starbucks you can ask for your drink in a larger cup. For example: get a white chocolate mocha grande but ask to have it in a venti cup so it doesn’t spill and they will sometimes give you more, or order a frap grande and have them put it in a venti cup and will sometimes get more because they always make a little extra and throw it away.
BYO Drinks in a 12 pack cooler. I always load up on pop by the case when on sale. My frig runs 24/7. Might as well take my 25¢ can of pop with me whenever I hit the road. Road trips, supply run or going to work I don't leave home without enough pop to last the day. Adds up REAL fast.

There is this hack I use, I just wanted to share. If you go to McDonald's and order a large drik with no ice then the drink that you get is still cold because there Machines they're served from are still cold. So no ice equals more drink

Thank you for mentioning Starbucks ice. My stepson likes the White Chocolate Mocha, only iced, not hot. I told him the liquid is costing him twice as much per oz cold as it does hot. So I’ll share this tip with him.

Ask for cup of ice on the side
Combine both in a double wall tumbler. Cold drinks all day
I get my chai tea latte hot. then go home & put it on ice. get way more Drink for the dollars that way
If it's a venti iced espresso you have an additional shot of espresso compared to hot! So he has the better deal... but grande and tall have the same amount of espresso hot or cold!
