It’s worth noting that with Bard, you can ask it to show you an image of something and it will. That’s very useful when learning languages as it can help you to remember vocabulary.

#1, I have the paid version of CHAT GPT and the phone app has a button that looks like a headset and puts it into audio (input output). I just had a ten minute conversation with my phone in German.
#2 I find that Chat GPT is super good at fielding kind of complicated intermediate level quetions ABOUT German (usually holding the discussion in English) like the differences between three similar verbs. I find that 's super fun with Chat GPT.
That's awesome that you're finding good language uses for ChatGPT! This video is a bit outdated now since the world of AI moves so quickly, so you'll see the latest updates reflected in my most recent ChatGPT videos. I'll think about making an updated comparison soon!

Thanks for the comparison. I've been seriously looking for this functionality with AI chat. I would love to have more specific instructions about where to find ChatGPT Mod. Following the first time I viewed this video, I spent several hours trying to find exactly what you referenced with that description, and I really didn't know for sure whether or not I was successful. Are you able to update the description with links to the sources for each of those you compared?

Hi and thanks for the all the usueful tips! Now, how do you go around the 30-prompts-per-hour limit on ChatGPT? 30 is really not enough if you want to do a full-length session in the new language, e.g. repeating sentences that it throws at you one by one for accent improvement.
I agree-this is why I recommend ChatGPT Mod as the go-to and mainly use Bing for promps that need internet

Good question. AI is better with popular languages because there is more content about them in the Internet. 😃 However, you can still reach a modest fluency with unpopular languages.

I speak German to Bard but its looking for the English language instead..
My English isn't that great nor it is say sophisticated and I want to write my university intent letter and I want chatgpt or any other ai app/website to paraphrase it for any errors but from what I heard those programs are easily detectable. What should I do ?
There’s not a clear line between when the writing is yours vs AI’s, but good rules of thumb I might try are (1) write the first draft yourself-solo, (2) paraphrase sentences or small paragraphs at a time, but not the entire writing, (3) make sure you agree with any paraphrased changes as sometime you could have said yourself, (4) do another manual pass through after getting feedback from the AI.
I’m not in uni anymore, so I’m not an expert on ethically using ChatGPT in academia, but these are some things I would try think about as a first step.

Or just use my app that uses openai for the intelligence but gives control over the accent and speed as well as integrating it into flashcards directly. Actually even better than that it can keep your native language at normal speed and slow down your target language only. Only problem is I'm still building it :( hopefully will get it onto the mobile store by end of January.

This video was made 7 months ago so many changes might have happened since then. I did AI teacher for a month but there were too many tech problems so I canceled my subscription. I liked it when it worked so it was a shame that the there were so many issues.
What is ChatGPT mod ? You don't explain and I can't find any info on it.
I mentioned that it’s ChatGPT + extensions/workarounds on top of it. At the end of the video I share two videos showing how to set up the extensions and workarounds on mobile and desktop. And in the middle of the video I cover the web access extension. With those 3, you get a modded version of ChatGPT that can do all the things pointed out in the 4th column. Hope that helps 🙏🏽
