My best run yet ended because a dumb electrical skull came out of nowhere and fried some water I was standing in literally half a screen away from a portal. I had 325 health an infinite light drill wand, and a decent amount of gold. I dien't get as far as other runs, but I was taking my time and was decked out. I was instakilled with 105 health, and I was being careful. I wqs SUPER pissed, but hey, at least I learned something.
Skill issue
@@SunshineSailing84 It'a not a skill issue anymore for me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Heh, nice. I've completed the sun quest and opened both chests. And killed every boss. But I've only beaten the game once
This game is like a fancy restaurant meal, It looks great but I don't even know how to consume it.

"Now that you've beaten noita a few times"
Yeah... "Beaten" the game
I wouldn't say 'beaten' but I've definitely killed kolmi chan before ultimately dying by my hubris
I'd still call it beaten. It's just one of many endings.
im playing for a month now and i didnt even pass hisii base. this is impossible and im starting to lose hope of getting good at playing the game :C
@@singu7arity its not that easy when u can't identify a good wand among the garbage u get but im getting better at it and it feels very rewarding :) like the time i got a broken spell and a broken wand to the anvil and finally thought (this is it), then i beat jungle and as soon as i got to the vault i got cocky, stunned by some bullet, dropped into a lot of enemies and explosives and you propably know the end of that story :D
@@nuubi08 I was the same, then I looked at some mods, they help to get the "nitty gritty" of noita.
Another tip for travelling to parallel worlds: when digging through cursed rock and using ambrosia, you can ration your use of ambrosia if you have a wand with a teleport spell on it, ambrosia will only fall off your cape if you move in any direction, but not if you teleport from one place to another; so you cover yourself in ambrosia, fire your black hole, then teleport to the end of the tunnel you just made, and repeat, this can be very handy if you have very little ambrosia due to circumstance
Also if i'm correct, cursed rock seems to deal damage based on your movespeed, so teleport spell will also help with crossing the border even if you don't have ambrosia
@@glyikerprobit1809 Cursed rock damage does not scale with anything
Thanks! That's good to know.
WOOO, NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT
Here’s some fun tips
Always get the worm egg on the tree, break it , kill the worm/bleed it , get some if it’s blood in a beaker. Drink the blood n get the health up in the dark cave. Try to get as much Hp up before going into mines, so the orb above the mountain and the pyramid should be attempted. Don’t risk it with the orb past the lava lake when starting out, it’s never worth it.
If you’re wanting to do a long run: leave some wand refreshers in the holy mountain alone and move on , so you can use them later on with a black hole spell. Once you have a black hole spell at any point during the run- AT LEAST one holy mountain should be dug out of instead of leaving it the normal way. This allows you to still tinker with your wands whenever inside the mountain.
Once you’ve gotten all you can get at the first stage,
Go through the second part, try to have a dmg and a digging wand at this point, use the other two slots for either wands you want to use or spells inside the wands you want. Look for the hp ups in the second area around the tiny pockets between all the stone separating the area. Fungal caverns can give some hp ups, flasks, and higher tier wands, but if you’re at low health or something don’t even bother. Potions you’re wanting to have at this point right before the ice cavern: ambrosia , pheromone. Anything else can be up to choice but you’ll need those two for mid game.
Hp ups can be hard as hell to find in the ice caverns, try to have a good digging wand by now to search the blocks of ice. Giant worms also drop em but don’t risk it unless you’ve got a wand that’s powerful enough.
2 things, If you’ve got to this point you’ve noticed I say ‘don’t risk it’ a lot. This is because the game can and will punish you for error, like jumping into a new area with no levitation juice and getting a hiisi sniper bolt in your brain.
Anyways try to have at least 200-300 health by the end of the ice caverns. You can try to get the orb at the left side of the caverns but be careful around the wizards and the trigger happy wands. Have lost a noita before due to one having omega sawblade.
From this point on, take it slow. The propane tanks in hiisi base will screw up a promising run. There’s not going to be many hp ups here, and those that are are concealed by metal. If you’re not killing the tanks or the flying sentries fast enough, you’re going to want to make sure your wand gets more powerful before the underground’s jungle: all enemies from now on are about as beefy as them.
If your wand is shit and you have a broken wand, throw it on the anvil if only to see if it’ll give you a better one.
REMEMBER to leave some healer hiisi alive for the pheromone: this can be used nth amount of times if you collect the leftovers after spraying the healer.
If you’ve gotten to the end of this point, try to use the holy mountain in between hiisi base and jungle as the place to mess with your wands, I.e. digging/black hole/drilling out of it. Stevari can be slayed with freeze on a fast wand. There’s plenty of hp ups in jungle but make sure to have some form of fire immunity by now: the whole place is flammable. Freeze modifier helps for the enemies here (and prior levels) so look out for it. The dragon should only be attempted if you’re able to make quick work of the poison shooting hiisi here: otherwise your doing to have to dodge it as best you can. Acceleratium and levitatium helps but it’s risky. Don’t fight in the cave whatsoever, try to get it into the more open area.
do not attempt lukki lair unless you have some form of slice spell and/or a projectile curse, petrify , or venomous curse. Otherwise the toothy spiders will heal from everything you give em.
As always, try to have a digging wand and a damage wand. The extra two slots should be used for looting.
You’re going to need explosive or fire immunity, or both, for vault. Electricity too if you want to use it in your wand, since there’s plenty of robotic enemies here. Both for vault and for the level after this, try to have a dmg wand that’s fast and powerful. One chainsaw and one multicast modifier and it really makes a difference.
If you get to the holy mountain of the final level (red portal) you’ll need to assess if you’re strong enough for late game or to wrap it up.
If you’re struggling for hp and have had to run with black hole a lot , maybe go for the normal ending. If not , make sure to have some way to leave the area with kolmi - freezing the lava or teleporting past it works.
Make sure to use your black holes (and refreshers if you left any) to dig NORTHWEST from the farthest left point in the final holy mountain. From here on it helps to address the map for any help, but what YOURE going to want to do first is get an infinite black hole wand. Infinite healing wand can come later so look out for any healing bolts or circle of vigor . From here you can dig up to the surface or look around for any spare loot if you want. Try to use the hiisi healers or some form of healing to stay at full health. Once you’re strong enough, you have two choices. You can hit the tower for the wands at the top (swiftness will carry you always) OR head right to the left of the gloomy caves at the first area, to the west. You’re going to want to traverse this area carefully since there can be a lot of teleportatium and polymorphine. The grand alchemist is what you’re going to need to kill. In order to do so, drink some levitatum OR have a quick teleport bolt wand to juke his spells. Wait for his shield to go down, then off him. His infinite spells are what you’ll need for late game, since they can be used for spells like black hole or healing. Get one or more, slap em into your wand whenever you left a holy mountain still active , and make your way to the east or right border in the world. By now you’re gearing up for late game: a damage wand, black hole wand, and teleport wand are what you’ll need , as well as a flask of ambrosia. If you dig through the border and splash just a small amount on you, you can use your teleport bolt to keep it lasting, since it won’t deplete if you don’t move and just fire ya teleport wand. Really try to get immunities when it comes to perks, but otherwise loot accordingly. Always use your black hole wand to dig through holy mountains in parallel worlds. Grab an evil eye if you’re going under the tundra also.
Man, I AIN'T READIN' ALL THAT
Thanks a lot for your text fellow noita, it helped me a lot
❄️
I did read all of your guide!! Thank you so much, it's truly helpful to me as a 50hrs player. Have a nice day.
Man wrote a whole book
Yet still pretty useful
Btw you can cast the kantele portal spell on any wand, you just need to play the notes in the right order.
I swear I tested it before and I couldn't get it to work but I just did it now and it turns out you're right! I defiantly recommend grabbing those notes now if you can do it.
@@alexandercochran4013 So do the notes run out of power after a single use, or the wand?
@@wisnoskij maybe shuffle is to blame?
@@wisnoskij I know this is late, but neither. The note spells are unlimited and the wand is just underwhelming.
@@alexandercochran4013 You defiantly recommend? That's a strange way to recommend something
Just a couple notes, the boss room path you describe is actually made of dense rock, allowing you to make it through with any basic digging tool (a simple chainsaw or digging bolt will do) also the kantele instrument is unnecessary for the opening of the portal, you can simply cast a, d#, e, g in any no shuffle wand, there's also another set of notes that work with the combination A,F,D,E,A2 which can be grabbed to the right of the cloudscape (this set is situationally more useful when you plan on using your notes for damage since you can place more on without summoning the portal). Regarding parralel worlds save a ton of ambrosia by using a teleport wand, since you're technically not moving you will not waste stain. This is a great informational video though Alexander! I hope you don't mind my leaving some extra bits and pieces of info.
Nice guide. I would add killing the Alchemist boss as early as you can gives the most benefit for every future run. As soon as you have the letter spells in you spell pool they have a chance to spawn in chests/the eye room etc pretty regularly, then you only ever need to find a single black hole and you're in business. Also its said elsewhere but if you have a teleport wand you can get to P worlds with far less ambrosia (less than 10% of a flask per crossing) as long as you're not moving you wont loose the stain.
what is the eye room?
@@Njumkiy There's a hidden room in the shape of an eye. The normal way to get to it is by first finding the big hourglass in Hiisi Base (above a spell shop spawning either in the east or west wall) and pouring a flask of teleportatium into it, which will create a portal to the eye room. Inside the eye room you'll find 8 random spells.
@@swapode Should also be of note that you can tinker with wands in that room even without the perk.
About the blackholes and going to parallel worlds, you reeeally don't need black holes. What you NEED is a teleport bolt. You can use any method of digging you want as long as you've got a teleport bolt. It's easy to place an accurate shot down your cursed rock tunnel and not lose any of your stain. You could even do it with repelling cape! Done right you shouldn't need to spray yourself more than once before going into the cursed rock. Meaning only using like 2% of a bottle for a whole parallel world. Teleport bolt is magic I've made a couple drops of ambrosia scooped off the floor get to to east thanks to teleport, even with just plasma beam. Best thing too is that teleport is pretty common, and theres 2 to get, both work. Small bolt is a bit better though, easier to not lose any stain.
I actually do the same thing, it's a good idea and I was thinking of including it, but personally I only do that if I have tinker with wands everywhere or the wand core so I can swap in teleport without having to need a dedicated teleport wand. That, and the technique is a bit more difficult/risky, but if you can pull it off that is an excellent way to conserve ambrosia and visit more worlds.
@@alexandercochran4013 I'd say always have a teleport wand anyway, the mobility is nice. Something like kill wand, dig wand, teleport wand, heal wand. Ideally, at least
@@illwillpress100 I usually go kill wand, dig wand, tp wand, and spell storage wand, and then put healing on digging or tp wand.

this is a great video, thank you for the clear and concise explanation. one thing, though, that's driving me absolutely nuts: it's pronounced "am bro zha", like "sha" but with a "z" sound. you can also say it as "am bro zee uh". cheers!

I've played for 300 hours, watched a ton of videos, felt none the wiser. This is the best video I've seen to help with longer runs. Well done.
Good vid! Can't watch more of it yet but I know my next step.
This is the most helpful Noita video I have ever seen

Great content :)
really good video dude 👍

Tip for the healing bolt,
Use it with the behind your back formation, with a remote cast or after a luminous timed drill,
The 1st spell after the formation will be shot right back at the character, the 2nd spell forward, works with greek modifiers too.
you can make it to parallel worlds with very little ambrosia if you also bring a teleport wand. Ambrosia, and most other liquids on you for that matter, only decreases while you are moving. It does not decrease when you're teleporting. Provided you don't teleport against a wall above the floor and fall a tiny bit, a single spray of ambrosia can get you all the way through. And you can always do another tiny spray if you're running dangerously low. If you know what you're doing, it should never take more than 5% of a flask to get through provided you have a teleport.
A tip for getting to parallel worlds: if you don’t have ambrosia (let’s say because of an unlucky fungal shift) you can use healing spells to get through pretty easily. Also, if you’re using circle of vigor, make sure you hav was much max health as possible because it heals a percentage of your max heath, also keep in mind that you don’t have to stay in the circle of vigor to get its heals.
amazing content! keep it up
loved the video, thanks for many amazing tips
Really great video!
The larpa spells especially downwards and orbit are excellent for getting healing bolt to work half consistently.
Awesome video!!!, glad

Merci énormément pour avoir montré comment on fait pour faire une backup de sa sauvegarde ! C'est finalement très simple mais j'ai galéré pour trouver encore merci
Very well made
1:57 hmm. I got a tower wand before entering the holy mountain... The power of chaos is terrible and wonderful
weird flex but ok
I think to remember you can use any wand to cast the kantele notes necessary for thw portal. Did that change? The downside to this option is that, a) you need a way to dig through the tree and b) you have to carry the notes around with you all the tim. But otherwise simple and safe.
Good video, thanks!
Why no one had made this video before? thx a lot for all the usefull information.
great video!
Cool! Now i just need to beat noiye for first time and discover those bosses
Forgot about hisii healers as a source of infinite healing. You dont even need pheromone. Also if you have healing bolt and greek modifiers, but no bounce you can still heal yourself by firing up from under a pool of water or drop the wand to enemy npc humanoid
One thing to note about Ambrosia: if you use a teleport bolt it doesn't count as "moving" so the stain will last way longer!
How do you get the Greek modifiers. I don't mid spoilers
very helpful video !
cool vid dude
A lot of very helpful information right there. But as of other videos like this one I feel like I am still missing necessary infromation about how to prepare for most of this. I "only" have around 70hrs in the game and just beat it once and I also found out about the surface area all the way to the left and right (not the parallel worlds), the orbs and the passageway from lvl 3 to lvl 1. BUT, however: How the heck do I get that strong early on in the game. Even at the end of lvl 3 most of the times I am missing perks or spells to climb the tree or face other areas of the game.
6:50
But first, we need to talk about parallel universes.
"Now that you've beaten noita a few times"
yeah yeah yeah i can definitely get past stage 3.....
You didn't mention the part where you shoot a Master of Exchange and die
One incorrect thing in this video is that you don't need luminous drill or black holes to leave the final boss area, almost any good terrain destroying spell will do. Just go to the top left of the arena and dig up.
Just a tip i dont see anyone telling about projectile repulsion perks, you first walk on the opposite direction you want to shoot the black hole first, then you shoot. it will be accurate as if you werent using projectile repulsion.
Even tho i already have the amount of deaths to know how to make runs last days, i liked this video a lot. Have you thought of making some gameplay videos? i would definitely watch them.
You can put the Kantele notes on any wand. Works fine.
One thing, as a new noita player, that I don't understand is how you achieve infinite rerolls when you dig straight down under the reroll machine, genuinely how does it work?
Using many unmodified black holes looks painful. Just get a Greek letter for unlimited, and make sure to pick up any acceleration you see, or farm spells/wands in the base world until you get it. Way less painful and time consuming than that ambrosia farming and slowly digging through the cursed rock. Takes me maybe 10 seconds max and a few hundred health to get to a parallel world.
remember to drink directly fromt he flask when using vampirism
"overall most of the perks are really only there to help you along your way to the final boss and without some other form of healing you should really consider quitting while you are ahead"
This sentences disturbs me and comfirms the notion, that the design of perks is pretty off.
I am still waiting for the decent vanilla vampirism experience to become enjoyable!
Some of my best runs involve iron stomach perk so I can drink ridiculous amounts of liquid mana. then you can pack some more powerful spells.
Ik if you don't like mods that's ok but there is a mod called vampirism% and it makes vampirism pretty good it makes it so its a % heal instead of set healing
I think i might go mad if i hear this man say AMBROSA one more time
just started noita and wtf bro this game is deep shit
I have not once beaten the boss, but have visited parallel worlds in 2 runs using ambrosia and black holes. after that, it's as easy as black hole with acceleration and a teleport want
Finally someone who can actually pronounce the letter Ä

I'm actually making a guide for just for the 33 orb run right now. If you need help finding the orbs make sure you use guiding powder! It's almost impossible to do the run without it

why not use modifiers that speed up the projectile so u dont waste so much black holes
killing high alchemist early is my favorite way to get out
Today I had a cool run with vampirism and unlimited spells with a blood cloud
I died to the dragon because I got greedy XD
Question: does tannerkivi transform cursed rock into soil?
I'm not sure it does but even then, even if you destroy cursed rock, it leaves an aura effect where it used to be that still kills you.
My computer has trouble with the first world already so parallel worlds are a no go.
I mean if you get it really early on vamparism is a might as well get it anyway kind of perk

they drop them from the alchemist, you can find him west of the dark cave below the tree.
@@alexandercochran4013 how hard is he? i have about 500 health
@@theweakbeast7833 He's pretty tough, and could defiantly kill you at 500 if you aren't careful but you may be able to take him. After you damage him he puts up a shield that blocks and reflects all damage, so weak fast firing weapons won't do anything to him, but a one shot high damage build can make the fight a piece of cake.

It’d be neat if you made a video on the heartbreak exploit.
to my knowledge they “patched” that, not entirely but instead of giving you hundreds of thousands of HP they liked the idea so they capped it at about 1000 iirc. I will be including that one in my next tips though!
@@alexandercochran4013 I do know that it got nerfed, but I did it in my last decent run, and it worked relatively well, but I had permanent shield, so it was probably working at lowered effectiveness. Also, the magical temple is filled with both heartbreak wizards and health ups so, it still did work.
@@alexandercochran4013 They did not cap it, they just made it so you gain less HP with each attempt. You can still get massive amounts, it just takes more time and hearts. It's still absolutely worthwhile, I've gotten a few god runs using it.
Edit: also, if you have Glass Cannon, you can still use the trick! You just need to collect a temple heal instead of a heart up, but the downside is that it gains you still less health, and the next time you touch a temple heart or any full heal, it takes away all of your ill-gotten gains, so only do it if you have healing.

Once I was lucky enough for a long run with the dumbest build I ever made… The world seed provided me with tinker wands anywhere perk but bullshit wands in temple, so I just replaced the standard spells. The second temple gave me reduce charge speed perk and mostly bullshit spells, only giving me luminous drill. The next was lottery perk combined with another reduce charge speed perk. Meanwhile I still had standard red wand… So at some point I had -0.15, -0.15 red wand with six added slots, luminous drill, two mana spells, nolla and some other shit. That was a good run, could have ended way sooner than I expected, but instead I tried to create a sun and died to polymorph wizard bitch. Ah, Noita…
This is amazing but im convinced I will never reach this far. :/
you can get one percent of ambrosia on cape and restart game then you will be invulnerable to any damage for 100 seconds
What I usually do in order to get a long run is just get a teleport bolt, luminous drill, black holes, and ambrosia before Hisii base or underground jungle.
I then proceed to enter parallel worlds and get OP ASAP with God wands and Perks by repeatedly going to more parallel worlds and farming every holy mountain and gold biome available.
Or go for a 34 orb run and become absolutely immortal.

I'm playing this game for 4 years already, and reached the last floor (the Ancient Shrine or something like that) only 3 times, and only 1 time survived through this floor but instantly died in front of the boss, because god decided to become mad at me and he just killed me, every other hundreds of attempts (or thousands, i don't know how many times i've been trying to complete this game at least in slightest) ended up mostly on first 4 floors, in very random, stupid or miserable ways, but also very unfair. I genuinely hate this game, not because of skill issue, but because of how unfair this game is, i really want to explore and complete everything in this game, this game is really interesting, but i just ends up destroying my mental well being to the point i just catching a nervous breakdowns, i don't understand how to withstand this unfairness and not lose my sanity. A lot of the time i'm getting a good items, spells and wands but then something random happens out of nowhere and ends my run, again and again, it's impossible to keep up with this nonsense.
