@@CuboldGaming I recently died to the orb room guardian with 1000 gold, because I found a rune that could convert every projectile into disks, got it to damage its self, I died as it died, because it spawned a fireball wand as it died. Never killed that before. At least that's some progress.
I'm almost the opposite. I would like to explore more but I always try to exit the level ASAP if my health falls below 90 because that lets you be insta-killed by a nuke.

Noita's wands are very well designed: The bigger the wand, the more slots it has. Non-shuffle wands have a crystal Multi-cast wands have multiple tips (2 tips = cast two spells at the same time)
Wands generally fall under very similar behaviour depending on what they look like, the most prominent being the yellow one with 2 pixels as a hole in the middle, generally having low cast delay and higher but still low recharge time.
poly is op for starting flask because you can go out of first holy mountain in polyform and not collapse it. and tp can allow you got get back up or dawn in holly mountains so keeping em early is vital.
That's also extremely dangerous because you can surprised/and or ambushed and get one shot by any enemy in the area directly below the holy mountain's exit. Especially if it's anything that can fly such as jetpack hisiis or the lava...fly enemy
the problem i have with Noita is that you basically spend half an hour trying to loot everything before proceeding to different biomes. Then something minor happens that results in your death and you losing all your progress.
I find having to replay the first stage over and over and over and over again the worst part. It's just the most boring stage. Depending on RNG the first stage can seem really long even though I'm only there for about 10 minutes per run. However, if RNG is good and i can find winds quickly, get the tablet, find a heart or two, and quickly get 400 gold it's not as bad. I downloaded the Apotheosis mod today and it's really helped rekindle my enjoyment of the early game (although I wish there was a mod for this that didn't drastically change the game).
Yeah, i REALLY Wish the game had a better death system. its just far too hard for a "Normal" Run. now, for Nightmare or Hardcore mode? SURE. ok, cool. make Perma-Death a thing. but the game is really gate-keeping itself by having Perma-Death on NORMAL mode. i mean, for shits sake at least put an "Easy" Mode in or SOMETHING! now, i 100% understand that there are Mods that grant Do-Overs. but you can't get any Achievements, and it just sucks that you gotta feel like you're cheating just to get anywhere when you're new.

18 hours God run, was just about to start the grind for 33 orbs (At like NG+9 or something at that point...) I die from a DROP of polymorphine that falls through a cloud while I'm up in the sky biome... It turns me into a sheep... Aaaaaand there was this Omega black hole...
I knew mimics exist, even though I haven't been killed by one yet. I noticed that when you hover over one, it doesn't say "treasure chest" and I thought "Oh, this has to be a mimic". So I shot at it until it broke.
Actually, there is this red ghost that gives you unlimited spell usage with insane speed. all you have to do is empty the starting red wand and then pick any desired spell you want and shoot it at the ghost, then grab the empty red wand and point wherever you want and voila you can shoot black holes everywhere
I started playing Noita because i loved almost everything about it (Artstyle, Sound, Gamemechanics,...) but i stoped playing after a like 30 hours having absolutly no fun cuz i have a small monkey brain and didnt understood anything. thx to you i know at least how to start off. so thank you verry much! what a great video!

There is one spell I've ended up using alot for mining if I don't get a better one, and it's actually Pollen, since it goes through most dirt and coal pretty well, it goes through rock too, but not as easily
A barrage of Pollen also acts as a shield against most projectiles. But the game knows how versatile it is which is why it causes self harm when you walk into em.
If you’re going for an 11 orb ending, here’s my advice: The most critical spells you will need is something that can cut through anything (l.drill or something like that) and something that turns lava into obsidian (water spells/ ice spells, preferably aoe stuff). I do usually pick up any wand with good stuff for combat on it, but getting those two kinds of spells are usually top priority for me
60 hours, still haven't gone farther than the temple of arts, becuase no matter what I do I either don't have a digging spells or get oneshot by something extremely unlikely I got immunity to almost all types of damage you can get it for and wand with 8k DPS, still got oneshot through a wall by a hiisi that picked up a plasma wand So basically I follow all tips and even mor and still can't beat the game because random (explosions are overpowered)
My issue with this game is that you can follow all these rules but if you don't get good wands and perks from the beginning, you're bound to lose. For example: You can't fully explore the mines if you get a shitty starter wand. If you don't have a flask that extinguishes burning/acid, you will have to go to the Holy Mountain to heal up before making any good money. If you don't have a wand that lets you dig in lvl 2, you can't make money. If by lvl 3 you don't have a good wand or good perks, you're fucked. Even if you manage to be lucky and have all those things, you can still be killrd by bullshit mechanics such as being Polymorphed, stun locked by electricity, not being able to find a healing source (despite the many options), killing yourself with spells that you were unaware of unless you trial'd and error'd and because that's the best option you were given so far. This game operates under heavy RNG rules and if you want a somewhat bearable gaming experience, I suggest you look at mods that will minimize all the "bullshit" factors this game throws at you. Progression is tied to learning. However, you are not given the right tools or environment to learn. I wish there was something like a base where we can try different spells and flasks that you can't take with you. Like this it's just a frustrating Schnitzeljagd until you get those run enabling wands and perks and to be honest, I'm at a point where I don't care about ending a run anymore because I know I will have to restart from 0 thirty more times until I get the ideal set up.
Absolutely agree, after more than 200 hours in the game I figured most of the tips from the video, and I still get fucked up by RNG. I have my favorite spells and If I don't find them by level 3, the run will be over pretty soon. Not being able to modify wands anywhere makes the RNG even more painful - so many times I had my eq filled with good wands with bad spells, and when I finally got a good spell somewhere I still had to reach The Holy Mountain, which is really hard on higher levels
I definitely agree that RNG is a huge factor. But, as you learn more advanced mechanics, you sometimes find ways to make the most out of runs. The mines are easy enough to survive in even with the most garbage wand on the level. Even using a tablet is better on level 1 than most wands. The gold in the coal pits is convenient, but I rarely ever have a good enough digging wand to actually dig it, so I farm gold by killing enemies. If gold is really an issue, there's a guaranteed way to go get 250k gold with very little difficulty. But your main point still stands in that the game doesn't give you an environment to learn these things. For me personally, that's part of the appeal, but I definitely understand where you're coming from.

Don't give up until Hisii base ;) charmed Healers will heal you if you keep them safe from other non-charmed Hisii (they will try to kill a Healer if he's charmed by Pheromone) Return works well to get more wands into the next Holy Mountain - and with a Long Distance Cast, you can use it to get in and out of a Mountain if you don't have a regular Teleport nor Poly

1) Don't get teleported by teleguy. 2) If you manage to survive don't get the gold could be an almost indistinguishable pixels of teleportanium (his blood) especially if it's by the holy mountain portal. You will be teleported right into lava. 3) Be extremely careful traversing the terrain you may get stuck in unbreakable pixels, least at the beginning. There's a fix of just to go manic with the mouse and keys don't think it works on literal pixels though.
for the longest time i thought berserkium was only used to make enemies more aggressive and i pretty much restarted every run that started with it, or i threw away the potion.
Once after beating it I nodded it for god powers and was surprised to find that it pretty much goes on forever in all directions with things getting weirder and weirder

Basically everything new players can figure out within couple hours of dying. Except polymorphine to avoid holy mountain collapse, I would never figure this out 👍. Tip from me: if you see worms digging across holy mountain you will still anger the gods if you enter the tunnel.
If I remember correctly it was a bouncing burst multicast wand with a couple damage increases and a rainbow modifier. Probably had some other stuff to make it faster - Jay
5:49 I just cheat and used one of the "regen" mods ;-; I made sure it wasn't op too, but still. The game is like 1000x more forgiving now. Still very unforgiving but at least it's doable. Once I get good enough then I'll learn how to do the game without regen.

One time saw a chest on fire so I doused it with peromone, turns out was a mimic, he would keep giving me money, I forgot how much but it took a long time before he fell apart
I dont agree with the whole water flask tip, once you have fire immunity and a good wand there is no real reason to carry one other then toxic, but there is also toxic immunity in the game, so its good early game but not a "no matter how op you get" kind of situation, and if you get poly you can use it to get in and out of the holy mountain without breaking it for the ability to tinker with wands, so dont throw it out
I love how Noita easily contradicts the modern graphics race. It looks like crap but is hands down one of the best and most addictive games I have ever played. The wand system is like its own programming language, the world is literally endless and the challenges grow exponentially the longer your run lasts. It´s also one of those games that have the potential to deeply frustrate you but after a short time of recovering from the last death, it calls you to try again, and again and again. No two runs will ever be the same and sometimes you have learned something new only to realize that you will probably have to attemt about 20 more runs before you can even apply what you have learned before. I can easily understand why some people give it a try for a few times and never play it again, because it´s too hard. But being persistant really pays off big time here. There´s barely any other game capable of giving you the feeling of accomplishment like beating the boss for the first time, figuring out how to get to the parallel worlds unharmed or firing an extremely OP wand for the first time, that literally obliterates half of a biome with one shot. Substance over style they say. This game is the proof

Nope, this game desn't get easier with practice. Unless you want to spend 2000 hours to learn. I've played for over 50 hours and didn't get anywhere, didn't get any better results, and I've also spend many many hours learning from YT and guides. This game is pure randomness and luck. Idk how people get super good wands in the first stage, I only get shitty shuffle wands which are basically unusable, they shouldn't even exist. Without luck you can't hope to progress through this game as enemies are getting ridicoulously hard really fast. "It is easy to get over 600 gold in the mines" no, it is not. There are not even that many enemies to get this much and most of the times they cause havoc and kill themselves before you can get to them and the gold dissapears in seconds. 300-500 is the most I ever get in 1/10 tries. Also level generation is awfuly bad, there are always areas that you can't possibly get into this early in the game. I don't mind hard games, but this one is based on just luck, because you have absolutely no chance to not die most of the time. No matter how "skilled" you are

If you get a good digging wand (ideally black hole) you can always dig back up and explore the earlier levels when you have healed and are stronger

Mimics are surprisingly trivial to identify, they stay upright like regular enemies instead of tilting like real physics chests, they can also swim.
I just spray a lil water on chests, if they stain it's a mimic.

To be fair it was due to my own greed, had a great run with a wand with -.05 spell delay so i could spam, had 2000 gold

Peace With Gods is either an A+ tier perk or an S Tier perk.
Edit: Invisibility, Iron Stomach, the immunities, and a few others too.
Peace with gods is extremely helpful if you want to avoid super Steve. He ends my runs almost more than any other enemy - Jay

Hi this is my first time watching a Video of your channel, and I would like to give you honest feedback: The first 3 things that I felt watching were 1) Wow I think this is really Spoiler Free, thanks! 2) This audio is really good, especially EQ on mic and mixing 3) it all feels cozy!; In the middle I felt this: 1) ok I know this alrea... wait... ok... and... oh wow ok I must try this! 2) linking to another video and saying "but be careful Spoilers!" wow, such work to help others experience the game proper! 3) this audio is still so goooooood!!; At the last 3 to 4 minutes I felt this: 1) ok I never saw this enemy befor seems like a SPOI... *Video cuts to an insane ammount of gold being collected* I.. I want that too!!! 2) this is motivating and explaining at the same time! 3) wow I had to skip a lot of videos that were eather not spoiler free or not even close to this quality!; Endresult: Instant Sub! Hope u found that "first watch feedback" kinda helpful, stay safe!

No amount of tips and tricks can combat the trash spells and wands the RNG keeps throwing at me
6:15 I know I've been playing this game too much because seeing the health up in the mines have me a dopamine rush lol.
1) Don't get teleported by teleguy.
2) If you manage to survive don't get the gold could be an almost indistinguishable pixels of teleportanium (his blood) especially if it's by the holy mountain portal. You will be teleported right into lava.
3) Be extremely careful traversing the terrain you may get stuck in unbreakable pixels, least at the beginning. There's a fix of just to go manic with the mouse and keys don't think it works on literal pixels though.
for the longest time i thought berserkium was only used to make enemies more aggressive and i pretty much restarted every run that started with it, or i threw away the potion.

Once after beating it I nodded it for god powers and was surprised to find that it pretty much goes on forever in all directions with things getting weirder and weirder

Basically everything new players can figure out within couple hours of dying. Except polymorphine to avoid holy mountain collapse, I would never figure this out 👍. Tip from me: if you see worms digging across holy mountain you will still anger the gods if you enter the tunnel.
I got an always cast wand with the healing ring, and it was fast. But I proceeded to ruin it by making it home to enemies somehow.
Trigger, Create 8 Copies when projectile hits ground, bomb/tnt, repeat.
You be at the bottom in no time.
As far as water flask goes, there is always a pool of water to the left of spawn. Shame its sometimes buried under terrain

If I remember correctly it was a bouncing burst multicast wand with a couple damage increases and a rainbow modifier. Probably had some other stuff to make it faster - Jay

I made sure it wasn't op too, but still. The game is like 1000x more forgiving now. Still very unforgiving but at least it's doable. Once I get good enough then I'll learn how to do the game without regen.

Nah, that makes Noita too easy. Tinker With Wands Everywhere mod is cheating. But if it makes the game more fun then so be it, but it is cheating.

One time saw a chest on fire so I doused it with peromone, turns out was a mimic, he would keep giving me money, I forgot how much but it took a long time before he fell apart

You empty a potion, and stand in water while it is equipped (empty), and it will fill. Up!!
This also goes for any liquid. Just have an empty potion, equip it and ANY liquid will fill up the potion
I dont agree with the whole water flask tip, once you have fire immunity and a good wand there is no real reason to carry one other then toxic, but there is also toxic immunity in the game, so its good early game but not a "no matter how op you get" kind of situation, and if you get poly you can use it to get in and out of the holy mountain without breaking it for the ability to tinker with wands, so dont throw it out
It is a basic guide, so the water tip is fine, adding a thousand caveats to the video would make it tedious and a more spoilery guide.

I love how Noita easily contradicts the modern graphics race. It looks like crap but is hands down one of the best and most addictive games I have ever played. The wand system is like its own programming language, the world is literally endless and the challenges grow exponentially the longer your run lasts. It´s also one of those games that have the potential to deeply frustrate you but after a short time of recovering from the last death, it calls you to try again, and again and again. No two runs will ever be the same and sometimes you have learned something new only to realize that you will probably have to attemt about 20 more runs before you can even apply what you have learned before. I can easily understand why some people give it a try for a few times and never play it again, because it´s too hard. But being persistant really pays off big time here. There´s barely any other game capable of giving you the feeling of accomplishment like beating the boss for the first time, figuring out how to get to the parallel worlds unharmed or firing an extremely OP wand for the first time, that literally obliterates half of a biome with one shot. Substance over style they say. This game is the proof

Instead, high end graphics actually seem to distract from the fact, that a lot of modern games do not have much else to offer than vast, realistic worlds that are beautiful but dull. Good graphics only add to a good game if it´s a good concept to begin with.

Nope, this game desn't get easier with practice. Unless you want to spend 2000 hours to learn. I've played for over 50 hours and didn't get anywhere, didn't get any better results, and I've also spend many many hours learning from YT and guides. This game is pure randomness and luck. Idk how people get super good wands in the first stage, I only get shitty shuffle wands which are basically unusable, they shouldn't even exist. Without luck you can't hope to progress through this game as enemies are getting ridicoulously hard really fast.
"It is easy to get over 600 gold in the mines" no, it is not. There are not even that many enemies to get this much and most of the times they cause havoc and kill themselves before you can get to them and the gold dissapears in seconds. 300-500 is the most I ever get in 1/10 tries.
Also level generation is awfuly bad, there are always areas that you can't possibly get into this early in the game.
I don't mind hard games, but this one is based on just luck, because you have absolutely no chance to not die most of the time. No matter how "skilled" you are

In this guide I am told to "use bombs sparingly" like that's not an absolute staple of any roguelite ever and thus not even worth mentioning, yet it is assumed that I know what a 'red wand' is in any frame of context, and for what purpose that information is significant... what.
The "bomb wand" you start with is the wand in reference. It has good digging wand stats early on.
