Briggs & Stratton E Series Sinky Carburetor Float!

So here is a first!
Briggs and Stratton E Series lawnmower engine with a leaky sinky float. Have had this problem on just about every other brand and model of engine but this is the first time on the E-Series line.

My generator just did this after years of trouble free use! Same looking float 1/2 filled with gas?? Maybe the fuel additives has changed at the pump ?

I had one last year just like that float. I thought i was the only one that had this issue. Now we are brothers.!!
