  • High Blood Pressure Warning, the foods you eat can raise or lower your blood pressure, you get to decide each meal. Much of the nutrition advice you received in the past was just wrong. This video will help you understand which foods lead to high blood pressure, and which ones lower your blood pressure.
Lowering your blood pressure through diet is not so much about what you add to your diet, but what you removed from your diet. You can do this with the proper knowledge.

I had a flight surgeon once told me that if I just eliminated five items from my diet, my weight would go down, My overall health would improve. I tried it and he was right. What he advocated was basically a carnivore diet, and this was 30 years ago. The five items are; wheat, sugar, rice, potatoes, and corn, and the things made with these products like bread and pasta You see how that dovetails into the carnivore diet. I followed his advice as well as I could under my life circumstances, and in a year I lost 75 lbs. I believe if I had been more rigorous I could have accomplished that goal a lot faster.

He is 100% right. I am a diabetic who started having issues with high blood pressure. My liver enzymes started go up! I had to buckle down... on my own by really watching my glucose patterns, I found I had to cut out all of the foods he has mentioned. And by taking advantage of some breathing exercises, isometric, resistance, and walking, I have slowly started to bring my BP down. I'm 2 weeks into it and my BP has been steadily going down! This is good stuff right! Thank you!

Unfortunately, what he is advocating goes directly against what too many doctors seem to believe. Most doctors that I've run into (including my current doctor) seem to believe that any illness is caused by a MEDICINE deficiency. They almost NEVER ask (or care) what the real cause of the illness is and they damned sure aren't going to "prescribe" nutrition instead of pills.

    • @hoperesnick1453

@@CCoburn3 I was referred by my doctor to a nutritionist which seems like a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, the nutritionist I consulted was almost as malinformed as the average doctor. For the record, my previous doctor once told me "I know everything I need to know for this job and nothing more" as he continued to prescribe medications that treated the symptoms while never considering the possible causes of my condition (s) or dangerous side effects of the medication(s). The pharmaceutical companies seem to control what is taught in medical school.

My blood pressure was 99/52/89 and I was very sleepy, otherwise I was ok 👍 but I did notice that if I eat carbohydrates my blood pressure went high, so no pizza no hamburgers no sugars of any kind no diet products either. As I done that I noticed my cholesterol and blood pressure levels dropped down to normal and I no longer take meds for them. And I no longer have gerd. I also lost 20 pounds by cutting down amounts. When I wasn't eating those things my ankles went down, my legs went down. I started drinking more water, my kidneys we're working better. And my weight is going down. I will try to stay away from that stuff, because I notice people who have high blood pressure, their body is not able to metabolize carbohydrates into energy, instead into high levels of potassium, proteins and fatty tissues in the liver, that's why we swell up, and gain a lot weight, so this is right on point, I subscribed to his channel, been there and done that

I have lost over 80 pounds and have been pretty close to zero carbs (haven't had these foods for over 3 years), and also do a lot of intermittent fasting, with occasional extended fasting. While I have numerous great victories related to that weight loss, my blood pressure is still high. Triglycerides have come down, but still not perfect. And after all this time of no carbs and lots of fasting, still have high fasting insulin. Essentially I still have 40 pounds to lose, and still have most of the signs of metabolic syndrome. So what I think I'm saying is that just not eating these foods will work if you've been metabolically deranged for over 40 years like I have -- you may have to lose all the weight, and keep it off for a long time. Fortunately I enjoy these foods and this lifestyle, so I don't mind keeping up the work. But it's not necessarily quick or easy. Good luck.

You are so right! I went Keto 10 months ago with the goal of controlling my T2 diabetes. It has worked beautifully. I am off diabetes meds, my A1c has went from 8*-5.8 and I have lost 40 pounds. Since I still have about 60 more pounds to lose, I wasn't expecting to get off my other meds yet. Well, I started taking my bp and it was low, day after day. I gradually got off both of the bp meds and also got off the Celebrex, which was for inflamation/arthritis. Now I take just one pill a day for my thyroid (Haisimotos). I am thrilled. This is the way I am eating from now on. Thank you for all that you do.

Was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with T2D, A1C at 6.7. Found your vids and took action. Got a glucose meter, cut soda, all breads of any kind, all starch vegs and went mostly carnivore. When I started BS in am was a high of 147 after a 12 hour fast. When I checked this morning I am at 103. I have lost 3 pounds and feel better overall. Thank you, will keep you posted on my progress. Have a check up with my cardiologist in 5 mos. I have already suffered 2 heart attacks before I was 50. The last one I died on the table. So I am working to stop and hopefully reverse this situation as much as possible. I have also started doing things I used to do, HIIT training, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and yoga. Great video Dr Berry! I have been following you for a while now and when you said pizza I had to laugh. I don't consider pizza a food anymore. I have been on a quest to lower my BP for a couple of years now. The medicine my doc has me on only lowers it some but not all the way to where he wants it. I recently found out I have PKD and learned that PKD can cause high BP. Do you have any suggestions on what might help? I tried carnivore for 30 days and went to the doc and it was 140/82. Thanks for all you do!

excited to start this today. .Although no real symptoms my BP is really off the charts. Drs make no diet suggestions just pills. I now have good advice and will be following this protocol religiously. 304/178/64 was my last bp reading. cant wait to see results.
