@@gnomechild3248 I started abusing opioids in the first place because my loving wife left 😢 and only got on suboxone treatment now because the pills were too expensive to kill the pain with every day but the wds were too harsh to stop cold turkey even after just a month on them. Now I'm like the op, jasonbarnes4245.
So I would say yes, PLEASE appreciate the shit out of what you have as long as you have her.

Heck yeah man, congrats. At some point I will do the same. There is just that bad few days I get it. But the anxiety and the mental shit that occurs is the tough stuff to deal with. A friend of mine who passed away from pancreatitis, he was a really bad drinker too many times in his life as well as addicted to pills and at one time The big H. His body was eventually done. But he always said I can deal with the sickness that isn’t the problem, the mental issues anxiety and depression were the worst. And I didn’t think anxiety can be that bad. But when you can’t find any enjoyment in anything, pace room to room. And only feel comfortable in bed. It’s really bad, as well as energy level is depleted completely. No drive, it’s not as easy as just saying get up and do it. Something is wrong. And I hate that. Between the anxiety and it’s also probably Low T mixed in with it. Having no drive is a problem in Itself. It’s awful when at one point you felt as though you had purpose. And now you feel like a complete waste of life with no purpose. I could be just built differently. As I have other mental issues being born with brain damage, and Spastic CP. yeah lol I’m a mess 😂

You're so right. In my experience, self awareness is the key to saying sober. Im on a taper im doing myself, because if i leave it up to my doctor, she will not allow me to fully come off. They dont believe in life without something being medicated. I'm down to 2 mg from just a couple years ago taking 3 a day which was making me extremely sick because it got to be way too much. The whole time my doctor knowing thats what was making me sick. I felt better being off this and regret ever going back to it. I want to be free from addiction completely. Not only is this a problem but its way over prescribed and the doses I've been on as well as ive seen others is ridiculous.

In my experience I see the problems arise when people realize that the medication and it’s process isn’t a quick fix. That’s always when Ive seen the conversations that the medicine is worse than the drug… followed by their conspiracy of choice. This is only my anecdotal experience, but its what I see in almost every case.

Very powerful video! Thank you doc ( and my brother in Christ ) Suboxone has definitely helped me in many ways and I’m grateful for that. However the devil messes with me as a Christian and as I read Gods word and I see “sorcery” aka pharmakeia and when I really think about this the devil creeps in and makes me doubt my salvation in Christ. I ultimately know/feel that Gods best is for me to be free from everything and I’m trying but if I constantly think only about getting off of it, then it makes it worse on me. Anyways thank you brother for what you do, you are such a blessing and help.

@@nickb2172 It’s a struggle that I “think” I will deal with forever. I’m 42 and started using when I was only 13/14 years old and been that way almost every since. Suboxone is a big pain in my butt BUT it’s also a blessing to me. It has helped me in more ways than I care to probably admit. I doubt many days whether or not it’s Gods best for me. However I’m curious at times if that’s just the devil lying to me and getting me to beat myself up about it. I’m not saying God wants me on it but I will say there are times where I feel God brought it to me to help get me away from IV drugs etc. I was BAD BAD ( like shouldn’t even be alive, but by Gods grace and goodness I’m still here ) I will say this brother - I’m not saying it’s good or bad - I’ve thought long and hard about it as I’m sure you have. But you’ll drive yourself crazy man and it’s not worth it and The Lord doesn’t want that either. Repent of our sins before the Lord and just put it all in His hands and ask Him to lead/guide us is all we can do.

@@aritina8379 it just takes time and patience, what nobody has. Use the liquid, go down 2 mg every couple of weeks til you get to like, 30 mg, then go down 1 mg every couple weeks, when you're comfortable. From 5 mg onward, take your takehomes and put them in a row. Fill them up to the neck with water. Leave a little tiny sip in each bottle, and make sure each day's subsequent bottle has more liquid remaining than the previous day's bottle. This is especially important to taper painlessly off of 1 mg to 0 mg, for example. Anyone can do it, I promise, it's nothing to do with luck, titration is a natural way the human body reacclimates.
