Been there done this and we all can come off this stuff. Keep your heads up. Pray and put your trust in the Lord HE will help you

Not true . If you are taking under 4mg of suboxone you can have a 100 mg shot and anything over is 300 mg. Also you say your dosage might shoot up but you don’t feel anything at all tapering off the shot through the month and then feel amazing and have another shot and that one can be the last one and you will still not feel no withdrawals or cravings. Also using suboxone , it’s a roller coaster because you always have to take the pill but on the other hand with the shot it’s always stable so no more waking up like crap. I say this from experience best decision ever

Also every day you actually have to take the pill therefore you can relapse but with the shot you can’t . They got me at a steady dose of 8mg of suboxone and then took the shots and been clean

Hey Doc! I have been taking Subutex since January of this year. Your video is perfect for me. Life is amazing now I have an amazing job and relationships are being worked on and going well! I started with one 8mg tab a day to now down to 3-4 mg and some days 2mg. I want off this medication bad, but it’s not the stopping that scares me it’s the withdrawals that will appear once I’m done. Does tapering off and the time it takes to taper go hand in hand with how long of a taper I should expect? For example I’ve had it in my system for a year vs someone who has had it in their system for 5 years. Would the tapering process look the same in regards to time it takes to be off? How can I shake off that mindset that I “need” this today. I feel like it comes with the territory of this medication, but I see and read of many awesome stories of people coming off years of buprenorphine use. I can use any advice from you or anyone reading this! Thanks for posting this video!!

Okay. So last time we went to Florida on vacation I ran out of subs and Kratom was my go-to. We were on vacation for a week and had purchased enough to float me an additional week after our return. So almost 3 weeks later, I ran out of Kratom. To my utter shock, day 1 of NOTHING, I woke up and got through the morning. By Noon I found myself declining very quickly. ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER I found that I was STILL going through a miserable withdrawal. How in the heck do you kick this stuff for good!? To me, right now, suboxone is the devil.

Praise Jesus and thank you Dr. Chris Park. God has blessed me with introspection and wisdom to the degree that I am able to sit across the table and stare my problem/addiction in the eye. I'm no judge, but this feels like a solid first step. I love everything about me. but this has to stop. That's on me. I've had my "last one" so many times that I chose early, not to count. In every area elsewhere in my life I maintain an admittedly strenuous rigid nature in health, fitness, nutrition etc.. But this one thing, that's my own little secret even. Makes me feel like a poser and undeserving of the person I see reflected back through the glass. It's time to pull this demon out through the mirror. I'll have my life back now, thank you.

Wish I'd seen this last week. My pain̈ docotor had me take my last 40mg of methadone on Thursday, and Friday morning I took a whole zubdolv. Let's just say that for the next 16 hours I was screaming and writhing in agony. My Heart Rate went to 170, ( but I'm tachycardia anyway) it was more scary when it suddenly dropped to like 54 and my friend, an addiction specialist, took my vital. My O2 was 74%. But there was no point in me going to the ER, they cant fix it.

I was screwed after my C-section, I wasn't having any withdrawals, my anesthesiologist told me to take my Subutex right before I went in. & Right before I was wheeled in, they told me to take it & I did even though I told him I probably should not do that. I was younger and trusted them. I took one the night before I didn't need to, & I told them I wasn't supposed to before surgery. It took 3 or 4 doses of pain medicine over an hour after surgery during the recovery period, to break through that threshold for the receptor. I LITERALLY FELT EVERYTHING AFTER THE SPINAL WORE OFF 😭 💔 IM LITERALLY TRAUMATIZED FROM IT AND AT FIRST THE DOCTORS DID NOT BELIEVE ME THAT I WAS IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE FROM PAIN ALONE. ROUGHLY 45-1HR IN RECOVERY I FINALLY FELT RELIEF.

Im not for long term suboxone use.. Or trading one drug for another. Short term suboxone use makes it easier to get off full opioids. For someone who is dependent on opiod pills. Once you become a addict. long term suboxone use and counseling is necessary. This gives addicts time to heal. It also reduces death by overdose... Just my opinion..

    1. They should have NEVER, EVER prescribed pain killers in the first place knowing human body becomes dependent on it without coming up with something else to counter act withdraws. 2. EVERY known medicine on earth including Marijuana and yes even INSULIN any human who takes these things over long term will withdraw. 3. I have lived in severe chronic pain since January 2011 due to lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine issues. I was given Oxycodone and Morphine to Hydrocodone and Tramadol. It wasn't until my current PM MD told me about Buprenorphine and I did my research on it. I'd wish they had prescribed this to me way back in 2012 but the Veteran Affairs at the time gave Oxycodone or Morphine. I hated all of them until I did my homework on Burprenorphine. 4. Fact, Buprenorphine is 30 times stronger than MORPHINE but the ceiling effect that comes with SUPPRESSION does not rise the more you take. It has a LOW CEILING EFFECT so you cannot overdose. There hasn't been a single person that has OD's on Buprenorphine and the only person that I know of that has died was because of he/she was allergic to it and in Europe they give it by injection. Last, you do NOT get a high, it only kills the pain. So, this is for those who live in chronic pain, research Buprenorphine, its cheap and if you hate the other pain meds like I did, mainly that high and you just want pain relief, Buprenorphine is the meds big pharma has hidden from us. The ONLY con whenever I began taking it was I got nauseated and threw up but after that I was fine. Its just a side effect whenever you first take it. Don't worry you will be fine. Want your life back? Read what I just wrote AGAIN.
