Thank you for this excellent tutorial! I made one for myself and want to make more for myself and others. For years, I've searched through make-up bags trying to find stuff. Now, I can see all my makeup at a glance! I love it!
Hi. I just found you this evening. Just the perfect size wallet I'm looking for. Thank you. I think I may make the bottom piece out of faux leather. Looking forward to seeing more and subscribing Have a nice weekend!
Hi Pam - nice video. What is your best tip for nailing the match on seams when sewing a pouch w/contrasting fabrics? Do you cut the pieces at the same time so when they get stitched together the alignment turns out perfectly? Ive done several w/top & bottom contrasting & always one of my 4 corners (boxy pouch) has the slightest misalignment. Really only I notice - but I notice 😂😂😂
You’re right, you’re probably the only one who really notices. If you want the fabric to line up perfectly, you will have to “fussy cut”. Which just means you will have to cut each piece separately so they line up exactly.

Glad this tutorial was helpful!
So pretty
Thank you!
Wow. Excellent video. Thanks a million.
You are welcome!
Love the pouch but would have been good to see how you laid the zipper and sewed over it. That’s the struggle I have
Thanks, Brigette. I’ll do a close up video of just the zipper.
@@hooked-on-sewing that would be totally amazing. Thank you 🥰

You are so welcome! I like making the bottom out of canvas or cork fabric. So many fun options!
Very cute pouch. Thanks
Thanks, Tina! There are so many possibilities with these little pouches! I love mixing fabrics and creating custom pouches.
You’re welcome 😊
Hi Pam. I'm a new subscriber. This is a cute pouch. I will be checking out your other videos. Cheers.
Thanks, Barb! Very much appreciated! Thank you!! ✂️ 💕
Thank you this is SEW helpful! I feel like I can conquer zippers now lol! New subscriber here (-:
Zippers can be intimidating, but the more you sew with them, the more confident you’ll become!
Hi Pam. Thanks for the great video. How are you able to see right over the zipper teeth? Would that not break your needle? Thanks
That is a concern, but you just have to sew slowly and carefully. If you sew just right, the needle will literally fall between the teeth.
Hi Pam. I just came across this video and it seems interesting. I subscribed and look forward for more of your creations. My name is Pam also. 💕
Thanks, Pam. It’s nice to meet you!!
@@hooked-on-sewing it’s nice to meet you as well.

Thank you!!
What are the measurements???
Yes, need cutting measurements!😢
Hi, Kelly. The finished size is approximately 4”Wx5”H.
Very bad filming, a lot work is not in the camera 😢
So sorry about that. I'm working on improving my videoing. Thanks for your patience!
