    Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that uses a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. This yogic sleep technique calms the nervous system and activates the parasympathetic (relaxation, rest & digest) response.
    In this yoga nidra guided meditation to relax you will be guided through a body scan to calm the nervous system, It’s a 15-minute yoga nidra guided relaxation to reboot your whole nervous system. This 15min yoga nidra script lead by Ally Boothroyd of Sarovara Yoga is perfect for anxiety relief. Lay down, relax, rest and meditate all at the same time!
    This 18 minute yoga nidra with gentle rainforest sounds aids in deep relaxation through the effortless guided meditation of nidra (sleep).     Thankyou Ally..I have been practising with you daily for the past two or so years. I was experiencing stage 4 brain cancer at the time I discovered your channel. The difference has been phenomenal, not only have I dissolved the tumour and been a miracle within the medical community, I have been on a journey of self discovery and dissolved many toxic cycles and patterns within my life. I have found a deep sense of inner peace and it all began with your gift beautiful Ally.

    I also do these yoga nidra meditations in the morning/middle of the night when i wake up too early and can't fall asleep or there is not much time left to sleep. It makes me feel callm and rested, even though i didn't have the amount of sleep i needed.

    The difference I notice at the end of this practice: I felt less vulnerable.
    I believe this was brought about by being “enveloped” by the energy of “presence”. As I slowly awakened I could see myself facing the rest of the day with mindful equanimity-dropping the “anxiety template” I tend to apply to most situations. I habitually analyze my use of energy and habitually monitor my depleting energy reserves-wondering if I can make it through the rest of the day. This is often agonizing for me.
    After imaging being cocooned by presence, I then allowed myself to be filled with it. I enjoyed this intuitive addition to my experience.
    As always I sincerely appreciate your work, and am so grateful I have the opportunity to benefit from it.

    Ally, when I first laid down to practice, I felt an overwhelming sense of clutter and worry in my mind. Upon pressing play, the sounds of birds chirping and the soft rain relaxed my mind, which then relaxed my mind. The alternative breathing hands was so enriching! During the deepest moments, I was able to let go of the energy that wasn’t serving me and now I feel present. Thank you for creating such a wonderful nidra! You are a beautiful soul!     This was great for me as a quick pick-me-up in the early evening. I felt my mood lifting during the session. I really liked the bird sounds, imagined myself lying on a patch of grass surrounded by trees : ) It left me feeling positive and more awake. One thing I love a lot about your nidras is your voice, it sounds natural and authentic, not like you're trying hard to sound calm and relaxing.

    Good Australian afternoon Ally,
    I listen to you on a weekly basis, following busy weeks
    I resigned from my long term house keeping employment, the body needed time to heal from cracked ribs.
    Today, 3 months on, was my first day, at a different motel, housekeeping,
    I went into the nsdr extremely tired, came out calm and focused without the fatigue

    Unfortunately, I suffer from sever combat PTSD and the VA meds have me so out of balance as I try to wean off some of them. Ally is God Send!

    Thank you Ally! It is 8.48am just finished this blissful Nidra. I really loved breathing from palm of the hand to the ♥ recalling the sankopa, and melting in Presence. I had a very special pain arising in the throat but the breathing at the end helped at lot. 🙌🏼🌼 NADIYA

    Thank you so much Ally! 🙏 I practice with you 2 or 3 times a day and now share this practice with my son who I homeschool and is on the spectrum of autism as well as my typically functioning daughter.     My breathing was really off the last day. My breath feels much more at ease now.
    Due to long covid my breathing is quite interrupted and irregular still. But the more yoga nidra the better it gets.
