This guided yoga nidra starts with a breathing technique taught by Dr. Andrew Huberman from Huberman Labs. His research from Standford shows that this particular breathing technique calms the nervous system and is the quickest way to activate the parasympathetic (relaxation, rest & digest) response. He refers to it as the "double inhale, long exhale" breathing technique. I love that he practices and studies yoga nidra!
This 15 minute grounding yoga nidra with birdsong aids in deep relaxation through the effortless guided meditation of nidra (sleep). When listening to the forest sounds, let yourself relax and be guided into a deep state of effortless meditation. This short and effective 15 min yoga nidra is lead by Ally Boothroyd of Sarovara Yoga. This meditation is designed to untangle and reduce stress and anxiety and calm the nerves over time.
This 15 minute yoga nidra for relaxation aids to calm stress and anxiety. It’s a short, effective yogic sleep practice with natural forest sounds to create even deeper relaxation and states of innate healing.
This is a yoga nidra style body scan to sooth the nerves. This yog nidra includes a forest bath with a symphony of bird song to further enhance the state of deep relaxation in the central nervous system. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that helps with insomnia, anxiety, stress, adrenal fatigue, ptsd and so much more.

I'm so glad to hear that you are practicing each morning... breathing and nidra helped me to completely rewire my nervous system. I used to have regular panic attacks, I can't attest for pranamaya and nidra enough for their ability to shift the nervous system gradually back into balance. Stick with it!! :)

Beautiful imagery and guidance ❤ Felt so still and calm at the end. The Philosophical Sigh has been a total game-changer for me since I started practising it in Ally's recordings, I find it really helpful to do a few rounds of before situations where I get nervous like job interviews etc.

4/08/22 17.14 . I've just returned from a retreat in the Scottish highlands, where I spent many a happy and peaceful moment sitting in the forrest by a cascading river tumbling down the mountainside....this practice took me right back there! My place of refuge!
Also, after many years of yoga practice, this is the first time I've been taught the physiological sigh. I find it very effective and somehow profoundly heart opening. It stirs memories of being a child and the calm felt after a storm of a tantrum ( of which I had many), when the tears subsided into deeper inhales...and sighing sobs and the feeling of being gathered up into parental arms and comforted. Thanks Ally. 🙏

I actually began my chakra yoga practice about 8 years ago. It is a part of my daily life. I came across my first Indra with you Ally, during quarantine! This was so fitting for grounding and restoring, I completed it late afternoon. I like the forest visualization and the two sip inhale, one long exhale has become one of my favorites! I didn’t want to leave your forest, thank you so much❤ I was visualizing myself walking barefoot through a forest which I think helped engage my parasympathetic nervous system even more into complete rest and digest relaxation mode which was very much needed
