Nice 0ne. I’ve got one if the last one a 21 plate. I fitted heavy bar ends to reduce vibrations and find the throttle response and suspension fine once adjusted. I find it noisier on the helmet then my naked sv650 but I’m starting to get used to it, hanging different screens gas little affect. I Love it, I prefer the styling versus the gt model.
Nice video. I’ve just bought a 2019 GSX1000F and I agree with the remarks made here. I must see if I can get the throttle response improved by the remapping. I have found the brakes to be very adequate though. And I agree about the styling too. The more you look at the bike, the better it gets. Much better looking than the new GT in my opinion. Thanks for the video!
@@solosportbikerider5734 no, you got it wrong. the bike is still available buy (not discontinued) so it is a 2021 model. (EDIT I was wrong - please see below)
@@solosportbikerider5734 Hi Xam X - I owe you a big apology.,. I was mistaken to say that this was a MY2021 bike and I was rude to tell you that you were wrong without checking the facts first. I have corrected the title and the thumbnail to state that this is a MY2020 bike now 🙏
Very nice review! 👍🏻I bought exactly the same one 2 months ago. Love it, very good quality and quite a nice stock sound. It is gonna be the keeper if there is no new feared version in the future.
Thank you 😊 I certainly underestimated the faired version and I'm glad I took it out! It will be very interesting to see if Suzuki come up a faired version of the new model and how it will look...
@@tomaspodzimek4933 Hello Tomas, that is a tricky question! I think really they are very similar in terms of performance and handling and they all impressed me but I reckon I'd prefer this faired model (especially in this colour scheme). It's the most practical of the three models but not any slower 😁
mine makes a great solo sports tourer it's covered large parts of Europe will cruise as fast as you like all day on the auto barn handle's great ,it's economical, reliable cheap to buy and run. The throttle sharpness can be sorted with a £20 throttle tube from the katana and I've fitted a nitron rear shock and a fork kit plus high screen, givi top box and heated grips i get 200 miles from a tank sat at 80mph, it does all i need
Would you sway more towards a 17 plate s1000xr or say a suzuki gsxs1000f? I'll only been using it for commuting and some long motorway miles to visit the Mrs, but with some b roads in between.
Hello Christopher, sorry for the slow reply! That's tricky one as I do like both bikes! There is not a lot between them in terms of comfort and I do like the relaxed/upright riding position of the BMW. But the main thing that I'm not a fan on with that beemer is the riders seat... you just can't move around on it! I think I'd prefer the Suzuki for that reason. Also I think the XR models of thet period have a reputation for vibration which has frustrated many owners!
Hi Ricky Can you sit on the Motorway at 85 ish without your Head getting pulled off. I had an MT10 which was amazing..want similar performance but also some Wind protection
Personally I found that yes I could sit at that sort of speed on this model and I was impressed with the lack of wind blast/buffetting. However if you are bigger/smaller than me you may have different results.
Thanks! The bike never did anything for me until I saw it those colours and now I want a third bike in the shed lol Yes I have a power bank connected to my 360 camera - My cameras are almost always connected to a power bank, or USB power coming from the bike itself.
I'm skipping through the video to see where I mentioned traction control to see if I got it wrong... can't find it yet! I do mention that it lacks "rider" modes which is something separate to a traction control option. UPDATE! During the walkaround section I do have a pop-up note on screen that says "three level traction control + "off"
@@RikkyTangif the suzi had the Busa IMU, a center stand, an adjustable windscreen, and remote preload adjustment, it would cut the head off of the Ninja and all other sporty tourers.
Looks great I would have one of these couldn't run to a new one but for sure a used one is a distinct possibility next year when I am thinking of changing one of my bikes good review thanks : ) now Subscribed
Hi Malcolm, first of all thanks for subscribing! The good news about this colour scheme is that it's been around since 2017 (I never realised that!) and they're starting at about £7k so they are getting affordable on the used market 😊
OK from the front it's not exactly a stunner 🤣 Could have looked better if they separated those LED lights from the main units I think... it will be interesting to see how/if Suzuki restyles the faired version!

Thanks Edward yes this bike did strike a chord with me in a way that I wasn't expecting! An underrated machine for sure and a good effort from Suzuki
I picked up this bike yesterday! It does need the suspension tweaking for sure!
Itr's already a goods bike but there is an even better bike trying to get out! 😁
That color is great. That will be my next bike.
Yeah that colour scheme really makes the difference!
So it's a 2021 I thought Suzuki haven't released this year model.
Its the old model but its still for sale, so its called a 2021
True they didn't come out with the 2021 model probably discontinued Suzuki does have the 2021 naked version so he misleading the people.😬
