I have read that milk binds only excessive tannins which (if the tea is brewed for too long can be harmful). So the milk in this case can aid. But I personally am dairy intolerant so I try to brew both green tea and black tea in the right way, ie 2 minutes first brew, and 5 minutes the second brew. I then discard the leaves.
Recently i was told that tea contains cadmium, and is bad for you. The upside is only steep the tea for 2 to 4 minutes to reduce the cadmium? Dr. Gundry what are your thoughts on this?
There is a study that shows that green tea increases DHT significantly while black tea decreases it significantly. Do you have any thoughts on this Dr Grundy?
I'll make my own mixture of half-and-half green and black tea- thank you :) But what about white tea, that I heard is the best kind of tea there is? (I don't know in what way it is supposed to be best...)
Could deep end on your blood type. Some type "O" people cannot or should not be drinking black tea as it is too hard on their stomach. I am one of those persons ... See Dr D'Adamo ...
I am O+ and loooove my Earl Grey black tea. Thats black tea with bergamot and I know it does my bidy good! I do use green tea in my smoothis as I do not enjoy its flavor.
I am group A2 and I cannot drink green tea on empty stomach because without 30mins I vomit. As far as I know if you drink it after you eat , the tea will decrease your iron levels. Also I noticed people with group A2 aren't heavy meat eaters comparing with group 0
Informative, but what about fluoride and heavy metals in tea leaves? Dont you wanna make an other video talking about the negative side effects of drinking teas?
Dr Gundry...Need your help in shifting gears away from food and helping us get the sun's energy from food without consuming all the poisonous matter that is mixed with the sun's energy in food.
Green tea should be brewed with 80C hot water and not 100C boiling water, and brewed for 3-4 minutes. If the water it boiling hot or you brew it too long it'll be bitter. Also, Japanese green tea is milder in taste than Chinese tea.
where these bacteria get polyphenols in bodies of carnivores from? Europeans have a naturally lower diversity of biom opposite to people in hot south so why would they increase it if it may be a proper adaptation to different climate and diet?
