This is a great example of brecciated Quartz that hosts disseminated Gold in the fine grain mass. These types of Gold deposits can be some of the richest that you will find and is something that Geologists are always looking for. Stockworks and swarms are also a great indicator and all are classified as Hydrothermal fissure filling vein structures. For more vids on this class of Geology , watch this video ua-cam.com/video/7Cw1OMU7ZyA/v-deo.html and smash that like button...smash it HARD !!!!
Some of those veins makes you wonder what they yielded per ton. Just looking at some of the ore they didn't bother pulling out
@askjeffwilliams I LOVE YOU BROSEPH ! Your awesome !!!!!
@@moxleycrueTv thanks
I was thinking about the time you got kicked out of heaven and thrown down to the earth and you had to do battle with
Sasquatch you stabbed him right in the foot Remember all that strange and weird phenomenon? Those were the good old days my friend. ❤ PS you should re-upload that was a work of art.
Don't know why, but this reminds me of Fraggle Rock lol...
Your wife is a total G. for following you into places most wives would never go. Well done young lady!!
my Lila is the best
@@Askjeffwilliams she is a trooper. I still cant figure out how she can climb with those nails! Lol
I can’t imagine working in a mine like that digging, drilling, moving rocks, climbing down, and down again, then back up etc.. talk about hard work! Those guys must have been tough as nails to do that kind of work.
yes they were
Wow! the appreciation for these old-timers is never ending. The amount of work they did was mind-boggling! hope that sac tells you they left alot behind, thank you sir, stay safe!
Thank you Jeff for your expertise, and narratives in these amazing uploads.
you betcha
Well I'm in my 60s and I would never do that in my 30s going down isn't too bad but having to pull yourself up on that rope I'd never be able to do it they have to hook me to a cable and pull me out by helicopter but I'm glad to see a husband and wife enjoying doing this dangerous stuff I don't know about you but Lila is one hell of a brave woman my heart goes out to both of you and Lila❤❤❤❤❤❤
thanks and yes my wife is the best
The old timers were as tough as LEATHER!!! Awesome video Jeff thank you. Mine your business 💪
yes they were ....very tough
@@Askjeffwilliams Could you imagine a bunch of millennials faced with that kind of work?
Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!
I always enjoy watching you gentlemen and ladies, explore mines. Keeps the meaning of Miner/Prospector going forever.
Great exploration team! Talk about courage. I get claustrophobia just watching you do it 😮
YOUR LILA IS A REAL GO GETTER!! AWESOME!!!
yes she is
Yes, Apache Powder is still outside of Benson. I have a vague memory of dropping off cars there when I worked on the railroad many years ago. If the place blew, vaporization would have been instantaneous, so I didn't worry about it much.
Jeff you have an awesome wife, so do I 😁. I have seen countless videos of mine exploration and it still amazes me the work they did without the tools we have today! They were real men, period. This does not in any way take away from the women back then, many of them are unsung heroes. Thanks again, I enjoy your videos.
thanks and yes I do ....
I swear I'm having Deja vu watching these videos lol
The time and work put into these deep mines… by the old timers, totally amazes me! Very Good stuff left, for you some very nice samples!
⛏️⛏️⛏️💯💯💯
Jeff, the Limey knows knots! The rabbit 🐇 goes up the hole, around the tree, and back down the hole! Tony just took me back 60 years to my scouting days... Totally amazing how much mucking those ol-timers done 🤯 Lol! Lila is a real trooper, got yourself one fabulous find! 👍⚒️⛏️⚖️👷💪🤠
yes he does and Lila is the best ...yes I did
They took an amazing amount of material out of there. What a great hobby you have.
How long would it take to clean this mess up to blast again!
My favorite episode!
Thanks Jeff
yes they did and quite a while
@@Askjeffwilliams Thanks Jeff,
I find your channel like gold!
Many twists and turns but you always prevail thanks for the video Jeff
Another great video Jeff I can't wait to use your teaching experience on a open field
The pan out drone shot was almost as amazing as the stope and mucking board, top ten vids for Dr. Williams imo❤
Anyone else constantly turning their phone trying to see down the tunnels 😂
YES!!! LOL I'm like "No!! Turn this way!"...😊
That's what she said! Never gets old.😂😂😂 Keep up the great work. Love these Mine Exploration videos

Looks amazing, nice exploration.
That is way cool! There's a cut like that out west traveling towards Butterfield Canyon that I really would like to investigate. 😁👍⛏️⚒️
6:16 Bob’s Burgers fans recognize this knot from the episode “Frigate Me Not”
You Crack me up my guy love the channel never miss it
Jeff and Lila,, the miners were tuff people back then. They had to be if one wanted to live . What a fun adventure you two had and educational out put of information 😊
exactly right Tina
Being a miners is probability the most interesting hardest, scariest dangerous job I ever had and I work a lot of jobs. Ended up as a electrician and played with voltage that melts bones however your in a "new world now" as my shifter screamed at us 'greenhands' going through the portal ❤
GREAT EXPLORE JEFF NN FRIENDS..I SEEN GOLD N SILVER SPOT WAS WAY UP...BEST WISHES YOU GUYS..THANK YOU
Jeff's reactions are great!😂
I love your content. Thank you.
It’s always amazing to me how those’Old Timers’ got all that Ore out of those mines and how they got all that timber down there. !
Ladder veins lol always messing around ⛏️
Good morning Jeff, thanks for another great video.
good morning
Awesome! Me and a friend have a placer claim in Montana and the creek flows thru a canyon and the canyon cliffs are huge full of what I believe is the same type of quartz. We get a nice combo of Placer and fresh out of the rock chunky gold from the creek. Come on...down to Montana.....Let's Go!!!
its on our list my brother
@@Askjeffwilliams I believe we have a mutual friend, Doug from Montana? I'm sure between Doug,Me and a few others we will make sure you get steered in a good direction for finding gold when you decide to visit Montana 😉
This epic adventure inspires me, thank you Jeff.
you betcha
That’s a bowline knot, one of the most useful knots because it’s a slip knot you can always get out. Great for marine use and or towing. My Dad taught me how to tie it using the Rabbit out the hole around the tree and back in the hole too. Awesome
Very true!
It's been great seeing your personality on History channel. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
at 1:15 I'm like "wait... you found Johnny Rotten down that shaft?!"
Great video Jeff!!- Is it possible for you to create an animated video in the future that shows the progression of exactly how a mine like this one is developed? I think it would be very educational and interesting to see how a gold mine goes from a discovery to sinking shafts, then how it progresses to the stoped works, adits, and moving the ore, waste rock, etc. I know it would be a huge undertaking, but certainly answer many questions many of us viewers have on exactly how and why miners developed the workings in the manner they did. Again, thanks for your awesome videos!
thats a great idea Robert and yes we can
Thanks Mr Williams. WalkINBeauty
you. betcha
I'm late! But after seeing your rope mess, I see I had lots of time to get here.
Thanks, Jeff & Lila!

Good morning Jeff.

Great job! That looks like a blast! I live in NC and have always been interested in the old mines out west. Wish I could be there to see it.
Bag's getting heavy with GOLD! The was a fun cave explore, thanks Jeff! Now i don't have to go in that one!😂😂
With all that Sampling Jeff You Know What that Mean's..........!!!; )
yes I do
Great video Jeff. Looking forward to the assay on the bags here. Would be interesting.
Very awesome video Jeff
That would be fun exploring old mines Jeff 🤠
My Grandpa used to smoke Lucky Strike when he couldn't get Camel non-filter. He was also a prospector roaming the same area. Might be one of his. 😂
Great Video!
Ok do now I am going to spend my Sunday practicing the Rabbit Hoke knot! Lol I am so amazed at how "trusting" the old timers were with the wooden ladders! Not me!
My pants allready blown of Jeff haha...haha 💥🎇👖even the👽dont get it....or uap task force! Keep it UP Jeff & Lila greetings from the Netherlands 🎉🎉
hahahha we knew it ....greetings my brother
That was a really cool journey. 🤙🏼
I do miss your skeleton drummers and guitar guys. Heavy metal, bionic man, crazy Russian poop guy, on, and on.
I just like your style alot is what I'm saying.
Keep up the great content.
Not only do I love the history, but your antics Crack me up.
That's gold in itself. Your a talented fella.
Keep on teaching, and leading future bean eating miners!
I've gone past this mine dump by the side of the road many times, and today, I stopped to see what they might have been after. It turned out that there was quite a large tailings pile below a cut into a gully coming down the side of the hill. About a hundred yards up the hill is a large outcrop of brecciated material. I did find some very vuggy pieces next to the cut as if they'd been stacked there. They are full of red and black material in between the shattered pieces. I grabbed some of the better-looking ones and will crush them up and pan them to see if there is any gold. I'm thinking from the material in the tailings pile, that they were digging into that hillside below the outcrop and running the material through some kind of sluice or dry washer. There must not have been much or there'd be a mine. But I think there was something there because they did a fair amount of work.
thats great and keep us posted on that
Great video you guys!
Thanks so much!
Great video jeff, very entertaining. ⚒️🇺🇲💯
Great video
SUPWIDIT JEFFERY?!

It would be awesome to inlay that dynamite box panel into a guitar. 🎸😎
G'Day Jeff, Thanks for showing us how to find Gold👍 I found a spot like that with all the Quartz stringer veins. Only found small micro Gold. 👍👍 Cheers Kev
Nice work! Congrats Kev
This is one cool mine❤
The most comfortable beds are in benson Arizona.

That reminds me of the Gilsonite mines in bonanza Utah
Interesting, why would the temp go down around the 16 minute point ? Amazing trek, thanks for sharing, Jeff, Lila and friends. ;o)
Checked out the Apache plant a couple months ago. No more Nitro G reactions, just AN, and mainly Nitrogen products like fertilizers and gas. They still have a couple of Nitrogycerin cars out by the main entry office, I found interesting. No valves, just a rubber hose coming out the bottom.
Would like to see more on the mineral side, rather then a mine exploration video. There are tons of guys doing those, and without the mineralogy, geology side, they are kind of lame. You should show what the Au looks like in each video, just to show how the mineralogy changes from one mine to the next. Thanks Jeff.
Got into a good one there!!! 🤗 👍
Thanks for the visit
At 6:58 we call that knot a running bowline
Man you have some cool videos..
thanks
Awesome
All we got on the east is silver & led. I found a outcrop way up. I worked it from top to bottom, left to right. It was all silver, Led, Galena..
So I pushed on! This was probably like 6 years ago. Im getting closer, I can feel it.. I so wish my full time job was treasure hunting/Gold mining & exploring 🙏🙏🙏
This has been my dream ever since I was a little boy..
I just wanna live man... For me its way more then just Gold I find! I Find God & experience things that are pure magic... It maybe the way the sun hits the rock a certain way while the smell of that cool air runs past your face and you realize your standing in God's creations🙏🙏🙏 Jesus said> Search & you WILL FIND!🙏
With that said I will continue to search & pursue the dreams the lord put in my heart!🙏🙏🙏
God Bless you Jeff & may you find the equivalent to Victoria Peak🏆🏅🏆🎖🏆
keep us posted on that
Hey Jeff!
I know your a very busy guy! And I Didn’t really know any other way of talking to you other than through comments….but I do love watching all your videos on geology & have always had a passion for rocks/minerals! I myself am a prospector & I have a placer mining claim here in Northern California in an area with a Very Rich gold history, and good gold! I Would love for you (and your wife) to join me for a day prospecting at my claim if your ever in the area! “So C’mon letttsss GO! I Hope you have a great day/night & Keep the amazing videos coming!

Nevada
@@TheUnholyPosole thanks!
Hi jeff , which video did you explain about bercciated quartz ???
Correct sir
Jeff you know we have to see what’s in that sample bag in the same video
Thanks for another interesting episode Jeff & Lila, Are you by any chance in Eastern Oregon? The rock looks very similar.
no ....AZ
Meanwhile a large red worm of unknown origin surfaces in the lonely sump pit. Little do the humans know, they are just a few feet away from a major discovery. The worm smiles. My kingdom, oh you foolish mortals!
hahahhaha that sounds about right
Amazing area, Be very careful you guys ! ❤❤👽👽👌👌
thanks
Cool stuff jeff but not as cool as the drift mine thats just my favorite and nugget hunting .
In hard rock mines are you concerned about poisonous gasses or low O2 levels?
a little but not as much as coal mines
Never gets old... 🧨💥🚫👖🤠
Could some of these old mines be opened up as open pit mines using modern heavy earth moving equipment? Could they make money?
yes
