This just hits on so many things I've been thinking on, regarding my children's futures. Our society hammers the importance of education and career into kids (especially girls), but treats marriage and parenthood as superfluous. I worry that my generation, in an effort to address perceived deficiencies of the past, are creating an even bigger set of issues for our children--loneliness, atomization, and isolation.
