Just found your channel. You’re right about Dime being a singer. He used to do lead sometimes during concerts. There is a video of Pantera covering Metallica with him singing.

She came to react to the vocalist, she discovered a guitarist from another world but why do they all choose this version ? The intro is just mind-blowing
Not many people create a new sound on an old instrument and make it their own. Jimi, Eddie, Dime, and Tom Morello (among others) created a new language for guitar.
@@narcissus79 Sounds like you just don't like the sound that Morello creates, but you can't deny that it's a *new* and *unique* (to the guitar) sound, which is what original commenter was talking about. He's not "just a DJ holding a guitar" because he is creating a unique sound and unique notes, whereas a DJ is just scratching a record with notes that already exist. You're dismissing Morello's artistic talent just because the end result sometimes *sounds* like what a DJ might produce, and apparently that isn't your cup of tea.
Every time I see someone react to a Pantera song, it makes me cry. The emotion that Dime put into the guitar to enhance and mirror the vocals regardless of who was singing in the band... it's crazy. RIP Dimebag. I am glad you found enjoyment out of it, and I hope that others will do the same.
If any of the parents die then the son has to shave head in our tradition and some brothers in our town had actually shaved their head when that happened
Phil is a piece of sh*t. Always was. Still is. Despite his talent he completely destroyed the band. He was a junkie. I absolutely loved Pantera. Dime was such a beautiful soul. Vinnie was a kind soul. Rex was alright. Phil could die tomorrow and I wouldn’t be sad at all. He killed the best metal band ever.
Finally! 😊 Dimebag was a legendary guitar player. Despite the massive technique he had, he only displayed it when it was necessary. He was able to come up with very creative, unique compositions. You rock 😎
Can't wait for this one. I predict that our resident fairy will watch this for Phil's voice but will be left mesmerised by Dimebag's guitar playing. RIP Dimebag. 1966-2004 😪
Have you seen Miyako of Lovebites play her signature Dimebag darrel She plays it in Set The World On Fire it's amazing I'd say Darrel also was one of her influences
It's a fairly common thing to say that a talented guitar player can make their guitar "sing." Dimebag was one of the rare cases about whom you can make that statement quite literally. Such an incredible, special talent who was sadly taken away from us far too young. RIP Darrell, your music will live on eternally.

Thank you for reacting to this, it is so great to hear someone so talented appreciating music that i grew up with. Missing Dimebag and Vinnie every day ❤
Dime Bag was one of the first (and certainly the few) that can dance all over the scale using harmonics anytime he wishes. The man was incredible. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen live (Ozzfest 1997, Phoenix AZ).
Oh, I was waiting for you to reach the outro, and you did NOT disappoint! Best I've ever heard. The rest of the song is pretty good, with one of the most famous guitar riffs.

One of the nicest things in life is watching a professional vocalist react to those three "gates" at the end. To me it just sounds cool. But for the pros it must be an eargasm
The most unabashedly amazed reaction to this outro I’ve ever seen, and those high notes (both vocally and musically) astound everyone. So just the opposite of simply listening, and instead is *exactly* what it’s supposed to be- a very true Reaction.
Out all of the Cemetery Gates reactions this was the best. The ending, EPIC. I don´t know why it took so long for me to find this, but nevertheless, better now than never. I like your style, you are all over the place, a very refreshing, one of a kind vocal analyzer here in UA-cam.
You are so amazing. Your technical analysis about the vocal spectrum of different singers in different genres is so wonderful. Thank you for continuing to do this. It’s greatly appreciated. You actually brought a couple of tears to my eyes with your reaction to a band I’ve listened to since the 90s. Much love and thanks to you you gorgeous human being 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯❤️
Love the extras at the end of video too. You are amazing great break down of the song and such a joy to watch. And you have beautiful eyes and such energy.

One of my all time favorites 🤩. I was so excited to see you react to this. Phils voice and Dimbags guitar are legendary and the whole band is so thight. I love our face in the outro 😍
The outro is extraordinary. The vocals are amazing, but realizing that Dimebag is playing the same notes with a harmonic ring while hitting the whammy bar to get the guitar on the correct note. Dimebag was truly one of a kind.
Amazing! Possibly my favourite reaction to anything ever! The call and response at the end making your headphones fall off was a very special moment 🤣 This is especially fun for me as one of the absolute highlights of my youth was at Newport Centre in 1993 - high-fiving Phil Anselmo while running across the stage before stage diving at the height of Dime's solo in this very song, which was the last song of the night, if I remember rightly. Pantera were never considered 'up there' with the so-called 'Big 4' of Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer but, as much as I love all those bands too, Pantera were equally as hard, heavy, entertaining and talented and I absolutely loved them.
RIP Dimebag, a man who inspired a generation of musicians. Keep shredding up there with all the other legends we lost, gonna be a wild show when we get there.
The guitar solo in this song in particular is one of my favorites because the first part of it is super melodic and lyrical and then in the second part, it just explodes into shred heaven. And then there is the ending... I so love this song.
My new favorite reaction to this song. You were having premonitions of the solo and the end vocal throughout, and your reactions when they happened were priceless!
Yep we have all the "Dimebag effect" still in awe today listening to his music. Best thing about him never had one lesson, sell taught and I think thats why he was so good. He wasn't restricted by notes or keys he made the guitar an extension of himself. ❤
Its refreshing to see someone react to music with whole body, shivering, having goosebumbs and making wierd facial expressions :D. I feel music the same way. And Pantera had probably the biggest influence on me musically. Love Phils voice and Dimes guitar forever, but it took me more then 10 years to realize he is singing with that guitar :P
The guitar not only mimics a voice but also represents a female voice. And now connect it with the lyrics. I'm always amazed at how you can understand every nuance of a technique and reproduce it in the blink of an eye.
Hello gorgeous, yourself. I am so glad you didn't pause during the end...so many I've seen pause after Phil's first bit to comment, and I feel like they don't get the full effect of the call and response bit. I'm also 100% sure it didn't happen this way, but I like to muse that during writing, Phil hits his high note, Dime takes a measure thinking "I can do that too", and then mimics it on the guitar. The Phil ups it, Dime response, upped and responded 1 more time...then Dime just responds with a "sing this" ending.
Just discovered you today, and the fact that it was getting the enormous joy of seeing Pantera pull you in and mesmerize you was absolutely a joy. Your great! I love your expressions and descriptions. Keep it up !

I hope you’ve since listened to the full version. It transforms what’s a great song into a real piece of art. The intro is a lot softer and there’s a good chunk of “guitar singing”. For TV release they had to cut it down which is why it starts so abruptly in the music video.
D.I.P. Dime, gone almost 20 years, now. Was, without question, one of the best ever. Am glad to say I I got to see him play in person, even though it was only the once.
Thank you for the reaction. This song is a metal masterpiece. Everything about it is iconic. That riff, Dime's solo. How the mellow vocals capture the grief and sorrow and the heavy vocals capture the anger and rage you feel. The matching triples at the end and Dime finishing it off. Amazing song.
I’m so happy you are doing this one and I don’t know how this is happening but currently in my automotive shop this song is playing!! It is ment to be!! Seeing your reaction to the end just made my day, best reaction to this song ever! Side note I love how you have such an amazing understanding and love of music and how it is composed, makes me fall back in love with the songs I have enjoyed forever. For that I say the biggest thank you ❤
I absolutely LOVE the opening riff on this song. It's incredibly fun to play. Can't wait until you get to the vocal and guitar back and forth after your "Guitar sounds like singing" statement. Update: Your reaction to it was better than I could have hoped 🖤🤘R.I.P. Dimebag Darrell
I've never heard this song without the intro before, and it doesn't sound right at all lol, but I guess the song still speaks for itself. and the vocal analysis is superb as always
Dime is arguably one of the greatest guitarists ever. With all that he has done, but in the short time he did it before his tragic passing. One can only wonder how much greater he would've become. Phil's vice is just raw and demands your attention. The greatest band ever for me. ❤❤Vinnie & Dime

I'm sure you've had it a million times, but the full version gives so much more. Completely different feel
For that I say the biggest thank you ❤
awwwww, when my mind went.. lets check if the fairy voice mother has done any new videos as of late.. and i see cemetery gates..
Thank you for recognizing Dime as the legend he is and will always be
I've never heard this song without the intro before, and it doesn't sound right at all lol, but I guess the song still speaks for itself. and the vocal analysis is superb as always
Unfortunately fans never tell the reactor to pick the PROPER video.
Thank you SO MUCH for breaking down, and really appreciating a great song from probably my all time favorite band!
Dime is arguably one of the greatest guitarists ever. With all that he has done, but in the short time he did it before his tragic passing. One can only wonder how much greater he would've become. Phil's vice is just raw and demands your attention. The greatest band ever for me.
❤❤Vinnie & Dime
I c ould watch her listening to this all day.
I love your way of communicating music with so much joy and delightful quirkiness. I always come away better educated and smiling happily. You are a joy ambassador as well as a music teacher. Thank you Lolli.❤
PS: ordered your wonderful sweat. Weird is definitely to be celebrated
Spectacular reaction to an absolutely spectacular song.
