Bruce never fails to bring the energy. I think if someone was in a coma and you wheeled them into a show, by the end they'd be standing up singing along.
One of the main things I watch on UA-cam is music reactions, and I have seen at least 10 different people react to this song. Not only was your reaction my favourite, but I can honestly say, I don't think I have ever felt as much pure joy during a reaction as I did with you here. You made a song that I have heard 100s of times, feel like it was for the very first time. Thank you. That was absolutely lovely!
Indeed! She has the ability to show us how awesome these bands really are, usually way better than we had noticed. Lolli is my favorite creator in UA-cam hands down.

My son and I have caught Maiden twice now. The last time was the week Bruce had turned 60. He's still running around the stage like a 12 year old that's had too many E numbers. His voice is still great, he's nicknamed "The Air Raid Siren" for good reason. These are the guys who influenced Metallica, amongst others. Legends.
Iron Maiden are legends in the metal/rock world ... and people would die to see them live. In my humble opinion there is only one band .. "or should i say man" ... who is an even greater legend .. than it's DIO !!! Give this comment some love if you want to see a DIO reaction next "Stargazer would be a great start ;)" love you fairy voice mother .. greetings from Germany
I saw Maiden last year, and I'll see them again next year. They haven't lost a step after 40 years. I second the Stargazer suggestion. I don't think Dio is actually better than Dickinson. Rather, both of them are part of a metal triumvirate with Rob Halford. But he's fantastic especially when paired with Ritchie Blackmore. Stargazer is in my opinion the best Dio/Rainbow work, closely followed by Gates of Babylon (which doesn't showcase Dio as well but is probably a better Blackmore song).
Bruce flies the plane too. Bruce's diction is actually amazing, he only dropped certain letters because this performance is actually quite a bit faster than it normally is. Plus, it's the last song on a massive concert and he's understandably buggered.
Loved this dose of Fairy Voice Maiden. Passionate, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and capable (just like Bruce and the boys) It’s like going to a great gig with a mate who really knows her sh*t 🙂
My favorite band of all time. At 50, you gave me a chance to feel like I was 12 again, hearing this for the first time on the album. I have seen them many times and they never disappoint. Thank you for this trip to a happy place. Your reaction was great as always. Keep being you. Music takes us somewhere, and I needed this today. 😊

Hello Daphne. my first premiere from the best vocal technique teacher. If we add her friendliness, her beauty and her great humor. It is impossible for me not to love every moment of this incredibly talented and beautiful woman. All my love for you from Argentina
My pickle was tickled. Thank you for the fun and enlightening reaction! I've been an Iron Maiden fan almost since rainbows were in black and white. Hearing your appreciation of something I have known instinctively was great music and performing art made me smile big. My God-given musical talent is knowing I can't sing, but I still really appreciate your analysis of Bruce's work.
I've been a Maiden fan for 40 years, and it warms my heart to see someone experience them for the first time. Up the Irons! Edit: There was so much about this video that I loved, apart from your obvious (and very much expected) admiration for Bruce's vocal abilities. (Your description of the band as "cockney geezers" was fantastic. I bet they'd love it.) But the thing that probably touched me the most was your digression on metal and the community around it. You nailed that, and it was very emotional for me. I have made some of my best friends as a result of our shared love of metal. One of them passed away four months ago, quite unexpectedly, at only 53 years old. We met as college freshmen in 1989 and quickly bonded over our love of metal. He was a huge Priest fan; I was a massive Maiden fan. He got me into Priest and I got him into Maiden. Most of the metal concerts I've ever attended were with him. 35 years later we'd gone out into the world, created careers, married, and had families. We lived a thousand miles apart, and didn't keep in touch as much as we should have--but every six months to a year he would text me out of the blue, late in the evening, to bring me up to speed on the concert he was attending. Then there'd follow a rash of questions and answers: "what have they played? How does [the lead singer] sound?" and an inevitable flurry of videos. And I'd do the same for him when I was at a concert. Even after all those decades, we were still shared that love of the music, and still wanted to share it with each other. We were still concert buddies. That's the glorious power of metal. RIP, LJ. Every time I hear Priest, from now until I join you, I will remember you. And Lolli, if you've gotten this far: I notice that you haven't yet done a reaction to Judas Priest and their lead singer, Rob Halford. Please, give yourself a beautiful Christmas present: do a reaction to Priest (which is another British band, and one of the greatest metal acts of all time). Halford is a metal legend for very good reason. I suggest that you start with something like Screaming for Vengeance, Painkiller, or maybe Dissident Aggressor.
Love that you appreciate this band and Bruce as many of us have over years and years. Every time someone hears them for the first time we get to go on the journey with them as they discover where the music takes them. Thanks for letting us join your journey, you brought a great energy to it.
"He looks really proud of himself. And he should be." You may not know how right you are 😀 This is Steve Harris' song, and this is Steve Harris' band. Iron Maiden is, plain and simple, the house that Steve Harris built. The man is an icon and easily one of the top three most important personalities in heavy metal history 🤩
Wrote the lyrics and string rhythm to most of Maiden's songs. He's just a bass player though. A bass player voted best in the world that year 13 times.
I count myself lucky to have seen Maiden live twice, and they're both up there with the best experiences I've ever had. Still get emotional thinking about them!

Yes! Let's the Iron Maiden rabbit hole story arc begin! 😊 Up the Irons! I suggest checking out some early stuff as well. From the 80s or early 90s (Live at Donnington for example)
Has to be one of my all time favourite reactions to Maiden lost count how many times I've watched it your reaction is just stonking! Please please more Maiden soon 😀
Well I just discovered your channel. The fact that this video got 40k views in one day, just shows you the greatness of maiden. Plus the fact your taste in music = class
Wow I really needed this today🙂 You are my absolute favorite reactor in any genre! And once again you completely understand a beloved musical group of men I considered mates in my childhood ! Please keep up the mesmerizing work Voice Mother! You are loved! 🙂
You are my fave music reactor/teacher/coach and I would be overjoyed to see you cover some of Mike Patton's music. In my opinion, he is one of the most underrated and overlooked vocalists. Faith No More was the band that put him on the map, but I love his Mr. Bungle days and would be thrilled to watch you listen to and analyze a few of their songs. Each one is a mind-boggling journey of whimsy and fun.
it's nice to see a singer, reacting to singing, who actually sings in the videos lol. I really enjoy these types of videos and often times what other people do is just watch the performance and comment on the vocal technique. most people who watch this type of stuff most certainly wanna see the vocalists actually demonstrate what is being said with their own - probably really beautiful since they're vocalists - voices, and I just feel like not enough people include their own singing enough like you do, just wanna say we appreciate it
It's always amazing to watch someone discover something new with such obvious joy. Imagine this band having this amazing energy still, after almost 50 years of playing. They give some of the best live shows which is why you'll encounter many fans who have seen them not once or twice but 5-10 times. Every time is an experience. The fans are also amazing, a true brotherhood. They are the GOATs of metal for many good reasons.
Finally!!!!!!!! Some one notices that girl who put her finger in her mouth !!!! I honestly thought I was the only one... Thank you for pointing that out ..... My first time watching your channel and I will hit you the subscribe button
Loved the great reaction and analysis as always! Was lucky enough to see Maiden live in Florida in 1987. Killer show, and Bruce's vocals were ridiculous even in the middle of a long tour. Still one of, if not the best live shows I've ever seen.
Up the Irons!!! fantastic reaction, as ever! My favourite ever Maiden track is 'Run to the Hills' - live in 1982 is as good as you'll find - first time I ever heard it, it reminded me of the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 9th symphony - the same relentless, headlong, unstoppable driving rhythm and intensity - love it. Keep up your brilliant rection, FVM.
There is a lot of air traffic control videos with Bruce at the helm. It’s so awesome to hear other pilots and ground crew freak out when they realize it’s Bruce and The Maiden.
Epic. When i have been to Maiden shows it is always an emotional coaster. My first date was a Maiden show with Twister Sister. I could totally see you there bangn your head!
Excellent version of the song you reacted to, of course I always love to hear what you have to say, you're an expert. well greetings and keep going with the cool videos, love your charisma and your beautiful face.
Really love your breakdown of the music, as an ex metal god I just love the way you can appreciate the greatness of the songs you review! Just subscribed to you because you are just fabulous.
We had some of the best bands come from the UK, we are truly blessed! Saw them live at download last year and this year at the O2 and they are incredible!
Iron Maiden are huge football fans, I was lucky enough to play football against them, on a pitch at the home of the lead singer. Eddie (the huge head) lined the driveway and we had drinks afterwards in a full pub in the garden. Legends
Saw'em in Dallas, Texas in '85, Powerslave Tour, amazin' show fo sho! Great reaction! Turned 60 recently and ya rekindled my love for the song and my favorite Scooby Doo gal Daphne! You have an amazin' singin' voice young lady!
I found this channel a few days ago and typically music analysis videos aren't my taste but you turn something that I used to find rather bleak into something I enjoy watching! It's helped me practice with my vocals as well, I don't usually sing but I use singing for vocal practice anyway. But to the point I go- I have a song recommendation! "Cosmic Love by Florence + the machine" the song is very moving to me and the singer looks and sings like a fairy! So I think it'd be right up your alley! With that said, I hope you have a lovely day or night!
I've been to a few metal concerts, and several Iron Maiden ones, and there is nothing like the energy at IM's concerts. And my lord the man (as you say) have insain vocal control. And the absolute best interaction with the audience.
Front of us, the best heavy metal band ever , straight since 40 years, all is good in this band, your analysis is interesting and fun, and your green eyes are hypnotic ! quite a Xmas gift. Hope the best for U and familiy . Alain from Marseille , South of France (english, scottish, irish music is always fantastic, golden soil ) 🎸
Hey beautyfull!!! Bruce is an esgrimist, history teacher, and pilot in grade of captain of internacional airlaines. Of course is the singer of this amazing band. Good reaction. Thanks. Greettings from Argentina. Sorry for my English
Saw Maiden open for The SCORPIONS Black Out Tour. Never heard of them before and bought there Tour Shirt. Didn't know it was MEH/OHH I was listening to eeethuh!?! Love the Ack scent!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Stumbled across this video by chance and I have to say this is the most engaging vocal reaction/analysis thing I've seen. There's something about the way you explain things which is easy to understand even for someone who knows nothing about vocal performance. (Also, I went to your celebrity voice actors video next and I laughed an entirely inappropriate amount at that one.)
I just stumbled on your channel (blame the algorithm) and as a life long Maiden fan and fellow Brit, can't believe you didn't know the lads are 'proper cockney geezers' lol You had me chuckling throughout your critique - your little mannerisms are just gorgeous Daphne :)
Its so cool after 4 decades and the younger generation are just discovering maiden and there reaction being tottaly blown away says it all.remember my first introduction seing them live as a wee 8 or 10 year old at wemberley arena and i felt exacly the same as this young lady ,theres few bands who can still achive this after 40 years
The thing I love about Maiden is their willingness to just let Bruce's vocals completely carry the song during extreme lulls in the instruments. There is points in songs where the guitars and drums are so much more absent that are completely filled by Bruces performance. This song really exemplifies this too.
Dance of death live from the en vivo concert really shows his story telling stage presence...how someone can jump, run around and not skip a beat vocally amazes me! Definitely one to check out!
Right around 12:35 you are talking about Bruce's 'Horse Stance' and he's a freaking master of using his full body to modulate his voice. He's earned the nickname of 'The Air-Raid Siren' based on that level of control. The other thing that Bruce is the master of is playing the audience as if he's playing an instrument himself. There are many live videos where during the guitar solos he'll run from one of the staging to the other and a wave of SCREAMS will follow him from one side of the arena to the other. Simply AMAZING!
My favorite band of all time. Being that you're from England...Highly and I mean highly recommend seeing them in concert. There will never be another group like this ever and they play England and around it all the time and they are not getting any younger, but they never disappoint with an amazing show!!! Awesome analyses you did as well, thank you!
Love that you were surprised by Maiden being from Daaan Saaaafff... Although Bruce Dickenson is actually from Worksop in Nottingham... My home town!! Which is why we almost ALWAYS get a Maiden gig on every tour!! 😁😁
This song really needed to be heard in its original recorded format when Bruce Dickinson was young. His dynamic range was just incredible. It still is no doubt but not like it was when he was younger. Father Time comes for us all.
Bruce flew the band across the World for that entire tour, in that insanely monsterous plane. Yeah... you don't get much more Metal than that. 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 I'm more of a Paul DiAnno fan, myself... the singer on the first two albums. He has a Punk attitude, & style. While Bruce has (had) an insane range. They're both great in their own right, & they're own way. I hope you keep digging more into Maiden. I'm 50 years old, now, & they have remained one of the bands who I've rode with almost all of my life, & part of the soundtrack... part of my SOUL. I'm STOKED that you that you get enjoyment out of them, as well. Keep Rockin' 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Just found your channel and subscribed. Love the enthusiasm and educational value. Also, completely random, but I was actually in the audience for this concert...

Yes! Let's the Iron Maiden rabbit hole story arc begin! 😊
Up the Irons!
Ahhh thank you so much, you are loved too 💜
You are my fave music reactor/teacher/coach and I would be overjoyed to see you cover some of Mike Patton's music.
Mike is a beast! His abilities are impressive. Ill second that!
ah lolli you should have watched the "live at the hammersmith 1982" version, that's bruce in his prime his voice is off the scale.
Agree'd the album version he holds one note for like 30 seconds.
it's nice to see a singer, reacting to singing, who actually sings in the videos lol.
Maiden are masters of their art and having seen them 3 times now there are few concerts that are as satisfying to be at.
Wow. You have quite the voice... And definitely one of the best Voice Analysis I've seen....
Your finger has changed my life as well. :)
Legends
You must watch the 1982 video from hammersmith, truly their best performance ever!!!!
But to the point I go-
I have a song recommendation!
"Cosmic Love by Florence + the machine" the song is very moving to me and the singer looks and sings like a fairy! So I think it'd be right up your alley!
With that said, I hope you have a lovely day or night!
Welcome!!! I’m so happy you’re here 💜
I've been to a few metal concerts, and several Iron Maiden ones, and there is nothing like the energy at IM's concerts. And my lord the man (as you say) have insain vocal control. And the absolute best interaction with the audience.
Holy smokes.... Your knowledge of singing is astounding... Highly impressive... I'm learning so much from you while enjoying some of my fav music.
That was awesome! Thank you so much for the review and analysis. Maiden are def in a league all of their own!
Bruce Dickinson, the singer flies the Boeing 👍 one of the greatest Bands alive, great reactions
Hey beautyfull!!! Bruce is an esgrimist, history teacher, and pilot in grade of captain of internacional airlaines. Of course is the singer of this amazing band. Good reaction. Thanks. Greettings from Argentina. Sorry for my English
Great reaction and analysis of the vocals and musicality 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Please keep ‘em coming🤘🏼🤪🔥🎸🎹🤘🏼
Saw Maiden open for The SCORPIONS Black Out Tour. Never heard of them before and bought there Tour Shirt. Didn't know it was MEH/OHH I was listening to eeethuh!?! Love the Ack scent!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
One the greatest bands of any genre......And Bruce has got to be coolest Rock Star ever, He's a Renaissance Man of modern times.
Nice react! Congrats from Brazil!
I just stumbled on your channel (blame the algorithm) and as a life long Maiden fan and fellow Brit, can't believe you didn't know the lads are 'proper cockney geezers' lol
You had me chuckling throughout your critique - your little mannerisms are just gorgeous Daphne :)
Loved the costume & seeing Daph make an appearance! You are, as always, amazing!❤
"Your finger changes my life..."
I couldn't take it anymore and scared my family to death with the mad laughter attack that came out of my mouth.
I’ve seen them several times starting in the mid 80s . They were amazing!
Damn, the insights you provide into performances such as this are just so damn…err…insightful! Subscribed.
You are a beautiful genius! I wish I could just hang around you and Elizabeth every day 🙂
The energy at a Maiden show starts as soon as the first note from "Doctor Doctor" is heard, and the lights are still on. It's surreal, and addicting.
thank you for doing Iron Maiden! love it!
Was there, right in the middle of the crowd! The experience was exactly as you described! 🤘🏼
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You have the instruments to show metal is not noise but tecnique.
The power of the eye of the pyramid pumps up the energy... Bruce is amazing.
Just found your channel and subscribed. Love the enthusiasm and educational value. Also, completely random, but I was actually in the audience for this concert...
I've seen them 12 time since the early 90's and still one of the best live songs ever.
Im still tryiing to get over HOCUS POCUS !!
discovered your channel today and absolutely love it. started with maiden here, then somebody to love (where i started crying way before you did), SOAD, pearl jam, nirvana, etc. really amazing. would love to see you do "the lost song part 2" and "a natural disaster" from Anathema - A Sort Of Homecoming
One of my favorite bands and songs!!
