@Kuzuri Kam that's like saying a Mustang and a DB7 are related, just because Ford owned Aston Martin at one time. In case you hadn't realized it, large car companies buy smaller companies all the time, then typically they are divested for various reasons...you aren't related to your step sister (example) no more than Bugatti and Porsche are related...

My favorite car for sure since it's the perfect everyday missile.
Just bought one last year and it is AMAZING! This car just wants to drive hard ALL the time, yet remains very composed when you want it to be. You have to drive it hard on curvy roads to fully understand why this car is soooo great.
Nissan GT-R: claims 0-60mph in 2.7 sec, does so in 3.5 sec
Porsche 911 Turbo S: claims 0-60mph in 3 sec, does so in under 2.7 sec
That's why I love Porsche over any other brand.
I hate the GT-R but it can actually do 60mph in under 3 seconds...
To be fair the GT-R has gone under 3 seconds consistently for quite some time now.
umm stop spreading bs on your bread kid. There has been many documented cases of a stock gtr doing 0-60 under 3 seconds.
This need for some Porsche fans to hate on an almost 9 years old car. Why??? Do you still feel threatened by GTR? GTR is now an 9 years old design/chassis with some upgrades. It not at the level of these new generation 911, not even close. At least in price. I prefer Porsche as it's a better car but why hate on another legend?
Fast Er They dont realize that since they think with their emotions. I can certainly say they are worst then gtr fanboys. They can make fun of the 9 year old car all they want but lets see if they will laugh when the r36 comes out (Assuming it comes out the way they have planned it now)

The Porsche 911 S is definitely the best and most complete Supercar you can buy for under 200K.
Really good, concise, no nonsense driving review Mr G. The video's always go by very quickly, I tend to watch them twice the first time they're uploaded.
This just my own wish list; if there was just a little bit more content showing of the interior/exterior overview & tech specs, good content.

There certainly is a place. I rate this bloke better than the top gear team with the exception of Chris Harris. You want facts, you go to UA-cam. You want entertainment, you have TopGear. I watch both.

Seems like a propper top-of-the-line car and the sound...oh my god! what car will be next reviewed? I just can imagine how extreme that car must feel, the fastest I ever sat in was a focus rs '16 and I'm daily driving a Mini JCW GP2 thats even fast but never comparable :)

One overtook me (not the 2017 model obviously) I've never witnessed power like it on the road, half of the road surface was forced up into my windscreen.
I always think if the Mini GP flashes me pretty much in performance wise, such a supercar should be literally armageddon to drive!

This exact car was in the press shots for the 911 Turbo S. Also had 911 HUL plates, right hand drive and those rims.
Dont know if anyone notices but the plate number 911 HUL has been in previous blue 911 turbos :) since 997

No doubt the 991 Turbo S is very quick on straight line, it doesn't have the track focused chassis set up, tires and weight reduction as GT3 but its pace is close to the 991 GT3 RS on most tracks where they both lapped. That proves the 991 Turbo S has fantastic acceleration to overcome braking, corner entry and apex speed disadvantages. The 991.2 Turbo S with the dynamic boost function might even give GT3 RS 4.2 hard time. However, I think Turbo S is a bit too small as a GT. I prefer BMW M6 as benchmark GT. It has more stuffs to play with, ie, switching DSC off to lock the rear differential to maximize traction balance to increase agility and handling adjust-ability. For acceleration, the M6 F13 Competition Package is quicker than 991.1 Turbo S above 150 km/h. For engineering, the M6 has stronger torsional rigidity thanks to the carbon roof. For size, the M6 is as big as a Bentley Continental GT while costing less than both Bentley and Porsche Turbo S. To me, M6 is definitely the best GT on market. Can't wait to see how well the next M6 performs.

Still would prefer the Turbo. More civilized, comfortable, and more understated. The whole track-car approach with the GT3 and GT2 never really appealed to me.

Yes Porsche is the best and has been for many years but the GT-R shows you don't have to rob a bank to own a super car. Most manufacturers today can build a super car. Everyone has the technology.
The Z06 is better than the GT-R.

In Australia the limit is only 100/110Kph but people still buy these cars because of the pure driving enjoyment you get from them. Most people who own them have their favorite little back road were they can have some fun myself included. Couldn't see myself driving a mundane car where would be the fun in that but each to their own.

it has absolutely no exhaust characteristics.....
if you ever have the chance, try to get a ride in one. they do have exhaust characteristics and it is quite unique. maybe not as fancy as a ferrari v12, but def not bad! it gets scary when the turbos spool

People complain about the sound but almost everyone puts an aftermarket exhaust on their sports cars so stock exhaust really doesn't matter! Especially when you have exhaust where you can close the valve and keep it quiet still. Beautiful car, Amazing performance💯
