@@anakobi9616 sometimes in uk or in scotland dont lnow if they play it down south but we sometimes play hunt the cunt its like hide and seek but when you catch people you need to punch or beat letters out of them
I'm not sure where it originates, but it's definitely played a lot in the US, I grew up with it!
Well technically, the ghillie suit is just... I guess a "baseline" would be an apt word for it. All the jute, twine and all that jazz is designed to be added to. The chords are used to attach vegetation to the suit to better camouflage yourself. If I were in your shoes, I'd attach all those awesome leaves and you would be pretty much invisible. Same to the gun wrap.

I think the split between synthetic and local foliage is supposed to be 30/70.

@@joecombs7468 is it that easy? i thought you needed rubber bands or elastic wraps. (seen in a handmade ghillie)
@@compunsate6234 you can use rubber bands or elastic if you want. You just need to hold the foliage in place.

You can flip it inside out if you want regular Camo and flip it again if you want ghillie, that`s why it was flipped
Eh, no it isn't. It's flipped for packaging, you wouldn't ever weair it with all that jute on the inside just for a woodland cammo: you'd just use your woodland bdu
@@ldgarius eh no wise guy. Its flipped because thats how u keep it. Needs to be rolled back neatly and look like a regular bag when your done. You cant carry it around all the time with all the material showing can you regardless how it was originally packaged... Its the easy best only discrete way to carry it, store it and preserve it, only time you need the ghillie showing is when its on you.

I carry it around perfectly without flipping it. Doesn't bulge any further, doesn't deteriorate etc. Nothing applies. So no, "wise guy" (lame attempt at personalizing), it's not flipped for keeping or transportation.
Yeah I bought the exact same thing - Nitehawk i think. it has buttons on the ankles to close them together as i found it difficult to move through the bushes as they fall under your boots a lot. The hood isnt too bad and the overall camo keeps you quite warm. The weapon camo is very good as i have wrapped my Diana .177 with it and fastened it on as it kept sliding and bunching up. Would recommend

if you hide in front of the bush is like wearing glitter in new york...sure you kind of blend with other things but people looking for you will find you imediatly
Crouching in front was just an example.. if I were deep in a bush or tall grass it would be nearly impossible to spot.. you should check out my hiding spots on my second ghillie suit review
Have the same one. After game day in pine forest I had to bin the bottoms. So many things entangled in it that it was beyond salvage. Upgraded the top and hat now with some artificial leaves etc. and it works a treat . Can't beat the price buddy mine cost me all in 35 quid so pretty decent. Cheers and stay cool buddy 👍👍

Hi..I live in a very hot state 90ºf to 100ºf very hot mostly all year round.. what do you advice me...should I buy one or not
It depends on how willing you are to deal with the heat.. if you don't like being uncomfortable, you might want to consider the cheaper ghillie suit I reviewed that's much more breathable
just want to say I want a ghillie suit to go to my indoor airsoft field and look crazy and demolish kids

Would you recommend the ghillie or the 3d leafy suit?
It depends on your budget and how much effort you wanna put in. The leafy suit is really cheap and offers really good camouflage. But the bigger ghillie suit has a LOT more potential. If you have the time to attach artificial foliage to it, it would become an AMAZING ghillie suit that would be almost impossible to see. And about size, it's always better to go bigger, a ghillie suit that's too big is always better than one that's too small and leave you more exposed. Hope this helps!
@@OverTheTable hey man, I got a ghillie recently. It's pretty similar to yours. Do you think it's necessary to add artificial foliage because they don't sell a lot of it in my country🥴
Well it depends on what you're looking for in the ghillie suit. By itself it's offers vastly more camouflage than having no ghillie suit. But of course there is still room for improvement. The artificial foliage gives you a more permanent solution. But if it's hard to get or is too expensive, then using natural leave and branches in the field can be a big help. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
@@OverTheTable yeah, since I'm using it just with my friends and not for airsoft I don't think its that important to invest in. Also will it still look good if the leaves and plants dies?
That's the only negative side to using natural.. it will die.. but you can always replace some of it with fresh every time, or pick a really good hide that naturally has dead plants already

I'm 5'10" and I would always suggest going with a larger size because its adjustable and you definitely dont want it too small

Don't, get a normal woodland jacket, a decorative fishing net, some rafia, leaves etc and craft it yourself. You'll spend slightly less and it will look muuuch better

It's always better to play it safe and go larger than you think, you can always tighten it, just don't want one thats too small!
Ghillie suits are cool but what use is a ghillie suit to the average person like what you gonna use it for?

A few years ago I was wearing it to scare my girlfriend at the time when she got out of her car.. she clearly didn't see me and pulled her car within a foot of me.. I got the bigger scare that day.. girls I date are not great drivers 🤣🤣

The one that I purchased for this video is for someone that is 6 feet tall.. it would probably be a little small on you but not too bad. There might be a larger size. I don't remember.. hope this helps

Actually my friend, I've crawled quit a bit in this thing.. even over concrete (which the little strings love to stick to) and has 0 rips or issues. It it very durable

You should try your hand at spotting me in my $15 ghillie suit review.. I actually tried to hide in that one. This ghillie isn't supposed to be used on its own anyways. It's made to attach artificial and natural foliage to. It serves as an excellent base to break up the silhouette.

Ghille suits aren’t easy nor super hard to make, the materials are expensive to make high quality ones so this it the top level one for cheapest, plus this is really good, just throw some leaves and grass on it and *MWA* perfection!
