Making a Ghillie Hat/Cape

Short video showing components I use to mske a ghillie hat/cape. With a cape, you can break up your iutline without having to wear a complete ghillie suit. One of these, coupled with a leafy suit or kill suit is all you need for ground hunting. It's amazing how close you can get wearing ghillie suits.

I love concealing stuff, I made my own ghillie suit recently (mostly just the hat and a partial vest) for hunting. I made it out of hay and dead grass and it looked pre solid. The boonie hat started to tear since it’s so old so I figured I’d look for some new supplies to go with.

raffia looks like dead grass. Also, you can add halo screen to make little shrubs

Truthfully each one's kind of different I usually make them just to wear their long enough to fully cover my shoulders probably 2 ft by 3 ft would be a guess
