Ghillies are beck watchers/fishing guides and look after rivers. To catch poachers they made these suites. Game keepers look after mainly pheasants, partrige and deer. But either way, it is all a criminal activity.

This is one of those things teachers should have said to us during math class. Not "in case you want to be an engineer" or "if you have to count your change in store" but "if you want to be a sniper, do well in math". If I had that motivation I would love my math classes.

is it possible to go to ft benning for basic, and get into sniper school while down there? i know times have changed, but back in the day when my grandpa was in, he got stationed at ft. Campbell, and he said they had like a volunteer list for airborne, and all he did was sign his name on a paper, and a cupple weeks later, he was in jump school. just wondering if its the same for sniper school.

Ghillies are rarely used, if ever, for obvious reasons while deployed.
    1) They pack like a sleeping bag, with a packing list that has zero room for a sleeping bag.
    2) When worn, they feel like wearing a carpet, which doesn't work well 90% of the year taking temps into consideration.
    3) You really don't need them anyway, since a veil will cover most of your needs if you're exceptionally concerned about concealment.
    4) You work with other units often, so no need to stock out.

@madcow3095 yes but the vegetation is not permanent, it is only used temporarily. as the instructor stated, a sniper may move through 3-4 different types vegetation, that's why they use pipe cleaners to quickly tie and untie the vegetation as they move through different regions

That makes sense, but if you keep in mind basic physics, it makes sense that paintball technically, and theoretically hurts more. This is because, if we assume air soft BBs and paintballs shoot at about the same rate, for the most part, then a paintball will hurt , more because it has more mass. Which will hurt more, an asteroid the size of a grain of sand, or one as big as button? The one weighing more will hurt more, as long as they move the same rate, as we can assume.

Please tell me your opinion if you think that the US Flag's shape and colors R very close or very distant to the inner "hidden" working colors of a gun or a rifle. The upper corner of a gun or rifle is where the triggering mechanism is located: which is either a very sad dark blue enclosed chamber or (color representation) white compression sparks when firing. The barrel of a gun or rifle has either white light coming into the barrel, or (color representation) red fire from burning of gun powder

I like the video. My only critique would be at the end when they show the sniper in position with ghillie. I think they should have started the scene with camera zoomed out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the camouflage and then zoomed/located sniper. I'm not sure if camera was remote or not but it seems like the sniper painted the camera man with his muzzle at the end of video as well...

Our infantry shoots at 35o yards in the army and 500 yards in the USMC, snipers train from 300-1000 yards, the 300 being urban combat specific. Our snipers are the best in the world, army pretty damn good. Marines, Seals, other SO units. Best on the planet. having said that ill give other countries their fair shake, they are also very good marksman.
