Two piece is so nice for bathroom issues! But, one piece is really good for legitimately belly-crawling a lot where a belt line can be an issue for some. Enjoying this series very much. (I've use Spider-Wire to sew holes in my camos for years. Always wondered if others did too. Now I know!) Thanks SP1 & SP2.
Another good cheap source of canvas is canvas drop clothes from the hardware store in the paint section, rit dye or spray paint to get rid of the off white color.
I saw grey beard green beret make one similar to this a while back. Definitely a tried and true method.. wish I had the patience to make one. Love yalls channel keep the great vids coming
I keep thinking they carry Glocks, memory seems to recall Glock 19 & 17... Would really be interested in blades, have a feeling they would be super practical and high value, maybe Buck or Spyderco...? Fenix, Streamlight or Surefire for a light would be my guess....
@@Isaac_5.56x45 very cool, an EDC video would be interesting for sure, I don't watch every video but I don't remember them ever doing a specific EDC video in the past, I'll have to look.
@@theartofprepping Yeah, they are very smart guys and I figure if they are carrying something, it must be worth carrying, and I am always trying to learn more for being better prepared myself.
Thank you, SP2. You are another brave American Hero. Thank God for ppl like you & your Dad. You all are generous to spend so much time & energy to share your knowledge and experience with us so that we can be better prepared to survive & live w/ a better outcome - what's coming. The Lord sees all of that.
I build mine out of tops and bottoms but I just saw netting straight to the jacket straight to the pants then I put my threads on that and then I can just shove my brush into it it's really fast and really simple
I’m guessing you’re pretty good with camo, I live in an area of AZ where there is mixed darker color rocks and shrubs/trees with plains style grassy open spots, I am struggling trying to figure out a decent way of transitioning in this landscape, any ideas would be appreciated
I love this channel. With that said, I learned when I was 20 and got my first sportmans guide magazine its a mere 50 dollars to get a ghillie suit. With that new ghillie suit you get in the mail and 20 minutes of works with brush from your area you are good to go.
Q- Does the shoe goo bleed through & glue the front of the leg to the back if I put too much? I wonder would it help if I put cardboard inside to keep the glue from bleeding through. I'd hate to screw that up after the work I'd done...
how do you get the shoe goo off the brush between glue set ups? If anyone can answer please do, I've always been under the impression you would need a new brush each glue up. This could open a new world of opportunities
Material added is not canvas, it is 1000D nylon cordura. Canvas is old school material first made in 13th or 14th century for sails, etc. Didn't see any foam/padding added under material at chest, elbows and knees...just saying. However very good pattern layout !
My son made a Ghillie suit last summer. I haven't seen him since.
Made me laugh, truly.
Just wanted to recognize all the hard work that went in to this series. Looking forward to the next one.

Great tutorial! Exactly what we did for recon platoon.
I loved this video. The tips about how to stitch and to tie it off every so often were great. Thanks.
Awesome, I appreciate you doing these videos!
Thanks, looking forward to the next video.
Interesting stuff.... Ready to see the next steps!!! Thanks

That would be awesome 👍

Great job brother, good intel
Use a sun blocker, that people throw in a car windshield. It needs to cover heat signature.
Good stuff. Glad y'all are doing this.
Thanks for all the info!

This project is very labor intensive. Thank you for taking the time for putting out a good video on this topic.
Recommend using a sewing awl rather than the needle and leatherman. A lot faster.
Looking good
This is really interesting I always wanted to know about gilley suits and I think your son is an actual sniper

I'd go for prarrie/grassy.
Have you ever flex sealed outside fabric like I do for moisturizer shedding for the fabric?

They dont last a stalk and are not made for crawling.
If you warm the Shoe goo first, would it spread easier?

Could black colored shoe goo be utilized instead of the clear?
Where can I order the uniform from thank you
Two piece so you can go number 2 quick if need be
Why didn't you go to the Army surplus store? 🤷🏿♂️

Just keep using it. More like a scraper after the first time it dries up.
@@southernprepper1 I was over thinking it, thank you for the reply
Southernprepper2 have a channel?
No
I been known hide in plain sight in wooded area scaring people not seeing me in fifty ft
