Wait a minute this Philip fella was a prince? Wasn't he the husband of the queen, doesn't that make him king? What am I missing here?
If the monarch is a queen her husband is a prince. If the monarch is a king his wife is a queen.

@@leonardoflorentin Yeah basically it's either a King and a Queen or a Queen and a Prince. The monarch's spouse can't outrank them. A King is higher than a Queen so if you make him King you're implying that he's the monarch when he's actually the monarch's spouse so that's why he has to be a prince and not a king.

Most of the Brits next door love em so as long as Charlie, Will and George don't mess it up they're probably good for another hundred years or so.
