As someone who has only discovered these two at the ripe old age of 31, they really were from a golden age of entertainment and cabaret.

This was probably 1 of the last great true Royal Variety Performances back when they still used to know how to do them! The right staging the right venue every aspect of it as they used to be and worthy of watching - LWT at its finest.
