I think Larry’s strongest point was his back, it was incomparable to the other competitors. His scapula are massive and his rear delts amplify his upper lats. Truly great, good job man.
Chasing big deadlift numbers for years has developed a crazy back double bi for Larry. Not just the act of deadlifting but all of the accessory work he’s been doing forever definitely carved what you see on stage here .
Doubt it, hypertrophy can be achieved many many different ways to the same outcome. A muscle will get bigger if you give it stimulus. No exercise is magic. If he tried to specifically grow his back instead of chasing a big deadlift it would probably look the exact same if not bigger (obviously not saying thats what he shouldve done, just making a point).

We all know the tricks you use on stage to hide weak bodyparts but the vacuum is the most blatant. By all means use it in your routine but you MUST show your abs muscles. Imagine they call a rear double biceps and competitors refuse to show them. Btw, once you see Rich Piana do vacuums, you know it's not hard to do.

Thats was a close one , u could go for either the two , i think larry lost the side chest the abs and thighs, but absolutely dominated the front and back poses imo ... Absolutely incredible performance by larry world class in my opinion, he just needs to train posing more bring up the legs and its a wrap ... Conditioning was on point for a second show in row , not easy .... 🎉🎉🎉 Big props to the coachs excellent job

You can tell the amount of worry in Ryans face about how hard they were pushing it. Even when larry said "no matter what happens" he knew how hard he was pushing it too with whatever they were doing. Stay safe brother.

Larrys bicep genetics give him super peaks but smaller biceps in terms of width. Not sure if that can be improved upon. He is bigger than everyone on stage though. Especially in shoulders chest and back. I noticed also in the front shots, he kept sucking in completely while the others did not. It's pretty unbelievable how massive you got without ever competing. I agree with the game plan. Larry looked amazing, but needs to work on the overall symmetry, that being bringing up his legs, he is aware of that and isn’t afraid to admit it, to form a game plan. That takes time, so a year is in my opinion the best option. That will give time for growth, rest and a new outlook. Keep up the great work man, you are definitely on the right track if you choose to continue down that path.

Tbh from the front his legs/quads looked slightly smaller than the competition, but from the back, his hamstrings & glutes are on pace. Some shots it looked the biggest out of the top 3. Its still amazing whete he placed at for how little prep he did. Its not like he trained the entire off season for bodybuilding

Larry's back blew away the competition! Legs were Definity smaller, but his hamstring shreds were on point. The winner had bigger legs, but very small back compared to Larry. I actually think Larry's physique resembles a classic physique more than the winner's did.
Yeah, the dude that won definitely has some bad synthol going on; most noticeably in the rear delts. He had a bit better legs than Larry, however, Larry's back and posing were definitely superior.
Larry's weakest point is definitely his upper chest, & his calves are a bit small and depending on who you ask the way his biceps are so peaked could also be not as good but that's more subjective it was definitely pretty close between the top 2 the vacuum pose was very good but 419 has a smaller waist over all Larry did very well👍
His side chest showed no striations compared to the other two and his chest does droop a bit. Not sure if his overly peaked biceps (left arm due to a tear) are good or bad....very subjective. 419 did have a crazy small waist!

You can tell Larry put in so much work and practice. His posing is spot on.
Needs more work and #1 legs are prob what got him over the line, the judging was fair.

Larry's back was absolutely unmatched compared to the other competitors. His massive scapula and well-developed rear delts really enhanced the width and depth of his upper lats. Truly an incredible physique-amazing work, man!

Forgive me but I think that top 3 was a little backwards I’d have put the guy in 3rd place in contention of first with Larry and 1st place in 3rd.. 3rd has better symmetry, bigger and better defined legs, nicer shape chest 🤷🏻♂️ Larry your back is something of legend mate looking amazing keep it up 💪
