This was the Final 3 Events @ Europe’s Strongest Man ’17
--- Both men won World’s Strongest Man after / Eddie in 2017 , Thor in 2018
It went into the final event just 0.5 point apart after 4 Events:
1 Truck pull victory for the Icelander
2 World Record in Axle Press by Hall
3 Deadlift win for Hall
4 Medley race win for Hafthor
Then it finished on the Atlas Stones at l at Europe’s Strongest Man 2017

i did 11 reps last weekend, after doing that a guy came up to me congratulating me, i was quiet due to being a sperg, i did a 360 and walked away.
Eddies 10 reps of 800lbs is pretty damn impressive.
I laughed at the beginning of that set when they were talking about how the other guy was ahead

Salocin football is sport where people religiously follow their team. In Scotland you could talk to someone for 5 minutes on a completely unrelated subject and gauge what team they support.
Its amazing how strong and big Eddie was relative to his height... just incredible!

because you need a strict regime to get to that point .
in medieval times , not many people could eat to satiate their hunger , even less get enough protein to build consequent muscle mass.
vikings for example , although depicted as tall and strong , were actually pretty small , and fit, because of malnutrition.

Steroids make you age very quickly when you are young but make you look younger if you start taking them later on in your 40s or 50s because of lower testosterone
It's also because they are big and sporting facial hair (a lot are, at least). Being bigger gives the illusion of being older in many cases. At least to me it does. With all due respect to the first reply, you can take steroids and still have a baby face.

But will not show up to the events . Larry wheels is huge , Brian Shaw - Martin licis - and guys of these types get tens of thousands of people to follow but Larry gets millions. Bradley Martin gets millions.
The sportsmanship they all show after winning and being defeated is part of what brings the fans back, glad it's not like the NBA or boxing

This is arguably the toughest strongman contest of all time - to win you had to beat Eddie with a 216kg Axle World Record, or maybe beat Eddie in Deadlift - or hafthor in Turck Pull Medley relay at his fittest and also the Atlas Stones at his absolute best…. put the two together and they would make the unbeatable strongman !!!!!
