One of the many things I love about the people competing in these competitions is that they can rightly say they are the world’s strongest man, but at the same time they can recognise each of their fellow athletes as also being the world’s strongest man. Because they know that if the competition was ran 10 times over the results wouldn’t remain the same
As a grown man watching that last clip of him picking it up and holding the weight even after the fact the referee told him to bring it down….I certainly and proudly can say I shed a tear watching him be in the moment of glory.

His physique *appears* to have given him the advantage over Thor in the Atlas stones : his sternum is already up against the stone as soon as he squats into position and extends his arms. Shorter amount of time to adjust his back. It's nice to see that lower center gravity work its magic, with the few advantages it has over being taller.
That small interview before n°2 is a really good point and proof that Eddie Hall is indeed the beast. Having world records and finishing ahead of guys whose genetics would logically put them ahead because of their big difference in height and therefore ease of getting more muscle mass, longer muscle, more range of movements & agility. You can see it in Brian Shaw & Halfthor Bjornson - their muscle distribution has nothing in common with Eddie Hall and other smaller lifters, they are way more proportioned while having an overall bigger weight. Yet he gets to almost the same weights himself and beat them / get record. A truly incredible athlete of insane determination and work.

I love how legendary the 500kg deadlift was.
Like he lifted a weight previously unclaimed by anyone in recorded humanity ever
a mere mortal touching a godly amount of weight, and it nearly killed him.
The “GET OFF ME” has a lot of power everyone move out so fast
@suprised duck 10:49
yeah, he was more respectful toward medics when he was half dead on a stretcher backstage 10min later... "dont film this mate"... Eddie is stupid, almost died for holding a weight to "look badass"... being ridiculous can kill it seems.
@@kawan3661 It's passion. Not everyone's priorities are the same.
Fighting through pain is the strongest strength ever. Respect Eddie xx
Yes women do it all the time giving birth and I do it every day with my severe chronic pain illnesses, where are our medals lol
That 500kg lift is just something else. Sure, someone broke it since, but that moment, lifting it, holding it there, looking around as though to say "I'm the best in the world, I WILL enjoy this!" is just something only Eddie could do.
Tens of thousands of hours, displayed in just 11 minutes. Phenomenal.
This man is some thing else.....this type of motivation can only be achieved by very hard work......
It’s so crazy seeing ppl smile and and cheering at the same time a guy is struggling to even breathe but at the same time that’s what the athletes do it for is to be cheered for , it’s just crazy , Eddie really is great athlete he deserves all the respect and praise in the sport
Still get emotional with Eddie’s 500kg achievement. Truely the beast.
I think Eddie Hall is my favorite powerlifter even over the mountain. The man held that deadlift until his nose bled and he blacked out. Now if that's not dedication I don't know what is! Truly inspiring to see! This man can move mountains! Love his confidence too when he said I know I'm the strongest man in the world...
I think he kept holding to it to make sure it is a valid lift. It is heartbreaking and truly inspiring at the same time. You feel pity for the man and respect & admiration at the same time. Truly inspiring. If we could only do this with our own lives. What a champion.
@@nymbusDeveloper86 Why on earth would you feel pity (unless you dont know what the word means)? The man is experiencing the abselute peak of his life work. This is what he toiled towards since he was a teenager and this is the monent where he achieved it.
RESPECT TO EDDIE FROM THE USA GOD BLESS YOU EDDIE YOU ARE A FREAKING LEGEND.
That tear coming down his cheek and getting the tie with Thor says all you need to know about Eddie hall. Favorite strongman.
Jeez that last lift was incredible and crazy emotional
Why am I choking up after watching Eddie’s World Record Deadlift? I have tears running down my cheek.
The deadlift always gives me chills
Eddie's 500kg lift ddnt only hit the world record, it also hit millions of hearts. Thank you eddie❤️
I also respect his wife a lot as well because she supported him throughout his whole journey. Truly a power couple.
Eddie hall has the strongest belly as well 4:28
lol
I got the chills when i saw the blood coming 😭😭😭 soo much respect!
Maaaan the way he lifted up his legacy and took time to assert dominance over everybody is insane !! What a beast
Eddie Hall: I'm only 6'3"!!!
Me standing at 5'5": yes sir, understandable. Have a nice day sir.
My favourite strongman of them all! I even got to see him compete once!
Love watching Eddie's feats of strength. And from all the interviews I've seen, is such a great guy.
He is definitely one of the strongest men if not the strongest men that have ever walked this planet
Walk this planet, your buggin
There was men that lifted 350 pounds of solid steel of a sword with single hand
@@H8-IZ-G8 who?
And also Daniel ik an guy who had broken through metal chains with his bare arms and was able to pull an train with an rope and able to pull in and hold 2 planes from flying off

you know the second the gave the down signal he thought “nah mate, if i’m the only person on the planet to lift this you must be mad to think i’m not making sure everyone knows”
My God it truly is a great thing to witness the legendary strength of this man!
The 500kg deadlift made me sh*t in my pants
That's sheer willpower and strength💪
That crowd when he got the axle press was insane. Had no idea strength sports events got crowds like that
Greatest moments in Strongman history, it was mind boggling to watch Eddie lift 500kg, refusing to let go, showing the world that he did it. I was watching it with me mates, everyone leapt out of their seats, it was amazing.
i mean the lifts are all hard af but i also think that the heat on the outside plays a big role
The Shoulder strength of Eddie is just out of this world.
Eddie is the reason i prefer to do strict press overhead
I agree...me Sitting here with a dislocated shoulder and torn bicep just from lifting something off a shelf because I have stupid ehlers danlos and only have to look at something and my shoulders (and other joints dislocate)
I'm absolutely amazed by the strength and shocked by how dramatically it affects them; 5 seconds in and my mans nose is bleeding and he's on the mat with people holding his limbs up. Makes me wonder if I could even roll that much weight across a mat let alone try to lift it. Even at the lesser weights these guys are all beasts.
something tells me Official Strongman is a big fan of Eddie...
yeah, it's getting annoying
Eddie co owns official strongman with his brother and Colin Bryce lmao, that's why thus channel is all about him
@@J.c410 proof?
I'm not asking to be the world's strongest man, I just want access to a gym 😪

One of the many things I love about the people competing in these competitions is that they can rightly say they are the world’s strongest man, but at the same time they can recognise each of their fellow athletes as also being the world’s strongest man. Because they know that if the competition was ran 10 times over the results wouldn’t remain the same
The man that raised the bar!!!
THE BEAST!!!!
Nice play on words there.
10:49 the speed those guys had when he said “get off me” can’t blame em though lol
Fairly certain a guy like eddie could just break your spine with a backhand blow
As a grown man watching that last clip of him picking it up and holding the weight even after the fact the referee told him to bring it down….I certainly and proudly can say I shed a tear watching him be in the moment of glory.
El último me sorprendió por que su mirada hacia el público fue como "Observenme", él mismo sabe que es un símbolo de admiración por la cantidad de esfuerzo y dedicación que puso en su vida para lograr eso.
In recognition of Eddies accomplishments, I have raised multiple spoons of ice cream to my mouth
Hahaha!!
the last deadlift...almost make eddie faint..but he din't..salute to eddie
It’s honestly crazy how Eddie does and completes all of this, yet still strives to have a strongman carrier as good as Brian.
The Amazing Eddie Hall ... Big Respect 🇸🇦
Eddie Halls deadlift imo is the best because he had heart then he held it there that's just amazing
He really pushed his body to the limit I’ll always respect him for that
Goosebumps still after all those years
