The more I watch videos about the X100V the more I want to buy! I Had a Fuji Finepix X100, fantastic camera, I wish I didn't sell it. Tiny and light I could stick in my pocket, no stress with lenses, focus on composition, I love it.
Wonderful video! Please take more pictures and more videos !! I'm super happy for the hype around the camera, just not happy with the price increase. the Camera is solid and worth from its 1399 price to no more than $1500. If your paying over 2K you are playing yourself. The X-T5 is a solid camera over the X100V X,Pro3,X-30 ect, all you do is slap on a pancake lens and nice hood and call it a-day. But what i do appreciate is all the NEW users to the fujifilm family that will continue to drive NEW accessories for the FulfilmX100V and other new cameras Fujifilm pushes out. The Hype glass is HALF FULL not half empty. Haters will always be haters, i don't own the X100V (have the X-T5) but i think its a solid camera and hope more people get to enjoy it at its regular price. Keep up your video friend you take solid photos :)
Thank-you! I sure will! 100%, I wouldn't overpay for this camera, it's a shame its out of stock everywhere, probably a new model coming. Considering that you can't really "pocket" the x100v, your mention is still a great alternative
People just say it’s overpriced because they want one😂 I had known about these cameras since the first one. I said I would never get one until they had ibis, but I broke down last august and got one before the camera became the one everyone wanted.
I would for sure say it’s overpriced, if you’re buying a used one that’s well above the RRP, if new, at retail, it sure isn’t! Out of curiosity, genuinely, why did you need ibis in it? Couldn’t see myself needing or wanting that feature in the X100V
@@DesignedbyKirk since having it I would now pay more. Well I’ve been almost exclusively a Olympus/OMS user since 2008 and I’ve really grown my style of photography around very low shutter speeds with very low iso in many situations. But this camera has been great for switching up how I shoot and adapting.
Nah I agree with Kirk here, it’s overpriced, I’d argue even at retail. Especially now with all the new cameras at that price point. It’s a very nice camera and I enjoy mine, but it is overpriced.
@@will.isnull and I would have paid more than retail for mine. Probably around $2500 max. With everything out there in camera choices, nothing is quite like it except the Q line of cameras. And for me that makes the 100v a super bargain.
Great video! I experiment a lot with film simulation recipes in my x100v. My favourite for a long tim has been the recipe known as Reggie´s Portra. I noticed you had a recipe called Reggieclean. Exciting! Could you share it?
Thanks for the video but the ipad idea for traveling only works if you have enough space on your ipad - currently sitting at 16gb free space. I don't want to bring a laptop so I think I need to get a passport HD drive or something.
Yeah and I wouldn't recommend over paying for one. Even some of the bigger Fuji cameras and slapping on a pancake lens is a great option, they all have similar picture profiles (presets), so you can get a similar look!
Usually I shoot in aperture priority. And occasionally adjust shutter speed. ISO, only really moves when I absolutely need it too. These pictures are straight out of camera :)

hope you can find one! 2 years in, I still love mine
Love the pics that you have taken! I’m originally from Vietnam and those pics remind me of the country so much.
it's an incredible country, and I can't wait to visit again!

Id love to buy one. When it first came out no one wanted it, now for over a year I cant find one.
Hopefully it's signs that fuji is updating it with a model that'll be more in stock

Hi Morten, Thankyou! Yeah that recipe is great, I believe I added it in my Recipes video which you can find on my channel!
So rare now,its my dream
🙏🏼
The store called me today sp say they gone one for me, lots of $$$ hope it will be woth it. Will bring it on my travels.
Enjoy it!!
Try the Ricoh GRIII(x) amazing little camera, and way cheaper and more pocketable than the X100 series of cameras
good idea! might give it a go someday!

Yep you do need plenty of more storage and USB-C
I want one for my motocycle rides, but they are getting expensive, even the 2nd hand older x100.. types.

@@DesignedbyKirk yeah i own an x-h1 and the 35 1.4 + 56 1.2. Might look out for a 23 f2 and a x-e3
Did u find it safe to walk around with a x100v on the streets of Vietnam given there are talks of petty pickpocketers there.
No problems at all, always had it attached to my wrists
Do you shoot auto iso and shutter speed or do you shoot manual?
Did you edit any of the pictures you posted or are they all straight out of camera?
Usually I shoot in aperture priority. And occasionally adjust shutter speed. ISO, only really moves when I absolutely need it too.
These pictures are straight out of camera :)
What was this shot at 8:05 shot on?
Blackmagic pocket 6K pro
What whitebalance red/blue values did you set? :)
It depends on the preset!
