    I like your mom's funky light. I would like to see more of her projects. I like her use of just regular crooked branches to make a light. Very natural art.

    Hi Marius. You may also have macro capabilities with your CNC software. I'm using EdingCNC and made my flatening macro. So no need to reprogram each time the routing path. I'm moving my router bit in the 2 corners of the rectangle surface that i'd like to flatten and so record the X and Y coordinates. I'm than defining the starting and stopping heights, the steps down, the dia of my flattening tool and the step over. The macro executes than the needed back and forth movements.

    Love your videos. Just watched the one on your new remote lav mic.
    I have a suggestion as I noticed a tripod taking up lots of room on the floor. I bet that gets in the way a lot.
    Have you thought about building a multifunctional mounting arm attached to the wall or ceiling that can be positioned so that the camera can cover all the workshop, but not be on the floor? It'd be similar to operating room lights.
    Keep the videos coming. Nice to see a smart young man interested in wood working.

    As you have a lot of experience of both, is there much advantage between a sliding table saw and a basic non sliding table saw? I only have a track-saw and it gets difficult finding ways to balance the rail to make smaller cuts.

    • @MariusHornberger
      @MariusHornberger  4 роки тому +5

      I have no experience with a good non sliding table saw, but I'd go with a sliding table.

    • @tomim7187
      @tomim7187 4 роки тому +1

      A sliding table can usually be locked to give you a fixed surface, so, if you have the money, definitely get the sliding table.

    • @anthonvanderneut
      @anthonvanderneut 4 роки тому

      For balancing the rail of your track-saw, make sure you have at least three pieces of material as thick as the one you need to cut and slightly wider than the track saw. Put one each "in front of" and "behind" the object to cut, and one next to the object (away from the cutting edge) to provide balance.

    I do not know if it will work, aber, when you drill a little hole in the grove of the tube and you put a light from the bottom in it, the tube will light up. Und dan, when you take a color changing light you can make it glow all kinds of wundershönes farben.

  • @TheGodCold
    @TheGodCold 4 роки тому

    Great video, as always. But wouldn't it be easier to just drill a hole for a dowel in a large branch in the first contraption, rather than to mount it awkwardly at a pantorouter and to make a dowel out of it? And also, christmas light is a light-chain in German? Cool.
