Dude, seriously, I would pay you *thousands of euros* to make all wooden furniture for me. Seriously! Just watching that table go together like factory made is just stunning! You are a one handsome and very smart individual, that will reach a lot in life.
Marius Hornberger,i just saw 2 of the videos posted and they are great, you are a engineer on this.I am retired and i used to made kitchen cabinets for private housing and projects,i have made over 1k projects in 20 yrs. plus after i got out of military service,i was in aviation working on CH-47 helicopters, start in military bases shops has a hobby and made a living of wood working, your jigs are outstanding and the knowledge you have is marvelows ,i keep watching the videos. You are great craftsman and your work outstanding and innovating.I do understand everything you are doing, but you are a genius.Believe me thanks for the videos.i am 65 yrs.
WOW, that turned out great Marius. With your usual attention to detail, it came out fantastic. I would have had no problem having this as a piece of furniture in my living room. Good job.
What a terrific project and finished piece. I am always impressed with the quality of your workmanship. On another note, you obviously live at home with your mom and dad. I think it is awesome how they support your creativeness. What a treasure to grow up in such an environment.
I can understand why you think its your most satisfying project. A very nice piece of solid joinery. I especially love the adjustable feet. A very economical and efficient solution. Love your work Marius. Keep the videos coming. Greetings from Denmark.
Fantastic work and you are right to be chuffed considering all the effort you put in. Great to see Mum and Dad being so supportive I’m sure they are very proud of what you are doing so don’t forget to thank them from time to time. 🤓
One of my favorite DIY channels, maybe my favorite. 3:22 that gorgeous wood being a workbench... seeing the figure would make some amazing panels for furniture, or a guitar.
Quite obvious you are a very talented individual. I enjoy your quality of work. I'm not sure how you learned what you know at such a young age but your parents must be extremely proud of their son. Great work and keep those projects and videos coming because all who visit your site really enjoy them.....
this is one of the if not the best tool stands i have ever seen made from wood it looks as if it will last till you get tired of it and re-invent a better or different design you do great work
Hi Marius - thank you for your enjoyable videos. May I suggest... i) fitting a 25mm high watertight tray under the lathe - the full size of the top of the bench. ii) add a Formica covered, vertical backboard behind the lathe. The work in the chuck will be splashing coolant/cutting lubricant onto your wall. iii) the top of the backboard to have a shelf so that you can place "in use" tools, clipboard with sketches, micrometers etc. conveniently out from the mess that collects on the tray under the lathe during use. iv) fit two adjustable lamps underneath the shelf to throw light exactly where you need when are working. v) bring your electrics down from the top and place your switches on the l.h. side of the shelf - so that when things misbehave you are automatically pulled out of line of the chuck. (don't ask!) cheers edi
Love the "click" sound when you squeeze the pieces together during dryfit. Looks like a peeerfect fit. No wonder that it is square, with that precision of woodworking. Looks veeeery solid Marius! Amazing work, and very good video. Inspiring.
Marius. ..im pretty sure where the glue didn't squeeze out will be strong and hold...I've been a Cabinet maker for almost 30 years...I started young when I was 21 and now I own a shop with 5 employees....and we stay busy everyday. I love to watch you design and build...you are an awesome carpenter/ cabinet maker!!!! and you do a great job filming and editing....keep up the good work!!!!!!.and hello from Dallas Texas.
I am really impressed with the quality which you Marius have presented your job. You are one of the best professional which I have meet. Congratulation!!
Very cool project. Looks like your space expanded to hold the fruits of your labor. Both your parents seem very proud and supportive of your talents and desires.
I was going to say you can buy steel adjustable feet of Ebay for commercial kitchen equipment. But then I saw what you made and thought nah, yours are much nicer ! Excellent work, my friend. That bench will last for ever. Also, impressed by your glue up and resaw to make four components out of seven pieces.
Well Done! I have been watching many work bench build videos, getting ideas for a lathe stand, and in my opion this is the best, really precise, strong and it looks brilliant too.
Klasse Projekt. Es macht regelrecht Freude zu sehen, wie du mit deinen Aufgaben wächst. Ich bin seit dreißig Jahren im Beruf als Tischler und ich finde es super, wie genau du arbeitest. Darauf darfst du zu recht stolz sein. Daumen hoch - mach weiter so.
yay!! finally a metal lathe!! that will change forever your workshop you can build anything now i have a old german made joinville from 1970 a small but robbust and heavy (370kg) lathe it needs a sturdy bench a made one with 10cm wood top and metal reinforcing its a must for precision! greetings from brazil
The level of precision is astonishing and you make it look so easy... It must have taken a lot of preparation, planning and concentration to make this workbench. Nice work!
You're going to look at all of your tools in a new light now with a metal lathe. My son and I just bought one and now we're making all kinds of tools with it to use as jigs and parts to improve our tools. Beautiful stand btw, I'd love to have the time to build one like it. Well done Marius!
Congratulations, my friend, your designs and equipment are first-rate. I like to work with wood but unfortunately here in Brazil the equipment for hobby in residence are very scarce and the little that is found are very expensive, I envy your country for the variety of equipment and tools of the branch that offers. I am your follower and I greatly admire your work. Hugs, Lorenzo.
Another great video. Watching your shop develop over the past few years has been awesome. Also your english has really improved over that time, your narration sounds completely natural now.
Great project Marius, absolutely no corners cut! It is rare to see such quality workmanship and attention to minute detail. I am looking forward to what you will do with the metal lathe in future, cheers!
Dude!, that is a seriously gorgeous cabinet! It should be in the living room not as a stand for a metal lathe. You are talented for sure. When I build a cart for my metal lathe I made it out of plain old 2x4's and plywood in about 6 hours but for holding my lathe it works just fine.
Big glue ups always are stressful especially during the hot part of the summer when the glue kicks off so quickly. I imagine if I had this equipment the added Precision would be helpful.
Happy to see you featured the wavy wood grain on either side of the drawer faces. Would've lived to see you feature it further with a different finish that vrought the grain out further
This project looks fantastic. I'd rather say it shows luxury version of Matthias-type shop furniture projects: simple and effective design, good video editing and great result.
Fantastic project, Marius! Very, very well done and great explanations with each step. It really shows that a person can make big projects in a small shop.
Awesome lathe table! You have inspired me to build a workbench modeled after your lathe table. I really like the adjustable feet for the table. I would add a set of wheels(nice set of casters), yet keeping the feet.
Nice bench! Don't forget to level your lathe correctly. This is vital for proper results (straight and parallel!). Now the fun begins! Oh BTW: don't forget to keep it all clean to avoid taking metal chips into the house or cross-contaminating wood. That too can be a serious issue! Thanks for sharing
Would you be interested in plans?
Marius Hornberger ja klar wäre klasse👍 super video!
Marius Hornberger Yes i am interested in plans!
Marius Hornberger Yes I am!!!
Absolutely.
you bet! awesome project
Wow, that lathe table is prettier and better built than most furniture people have in their living rooms!
Marius, your family must be very proud of you, you are extremely talented at wood work and bring joy to us watching your project being built.
Dude, seriously, I would pay you *thousands of euros* to make all wooden furniture for me. Seriously! Just watching that table go together like factory made is just stunning! You are a one handsome and very smart individual, that will reach a lot in life.
This is one of the best displays of professional woodworking that is on You tube, I love watching and wish I had the skills .
I really do not know how is there people who dislike your video! One word is enough to describe your work! Is "perfection" .

Marius, what you do is really very useful to humanity. Thank you so much.
11:40 "Now just for fun...lets see if it's square" - I'm glad you have fun showing off your talent :D
I'm really liking your videos!
Fantastic work and you are right to be chuffed considering all the effort you put in. Great to see Mum and Dad being so supportive I’m sure they are very proud of what you are doing so don’t forget to thank them from time to time. 🤓
True craftsmanship! This is by far the best quality project film I've seen yet. That bench will last several lifetimes! Brilliant!
One of my favorite DIY channels, maybe my favorite. 3:22 that gorgeous wood being a workbench... seeing the figure would make some amazing panels for furniture, or a guitar.
I took care that the nicest looking pieces are visible in the front
Quite obvious you are a very talented individual. I enjoy your quality of work. I'm not sure how you learned what you know at such a young age but your parents must be extremely proud of their son. This is so satisfying to watch all the angle meeting 90 degrees and the effort put in the project is unbelievable.

ich bin beeindruckt von Deinen Arbeiten und Deinem perfekten Englisch....
Man Marius, that thing is a masterpiece brother. The joinery, design and execution; just excellent.
I am really impressed with the quality which you Marius have presented your job. You are one of the best professional which I have meet. Congratulation!!

Weight issues would arise from that I'd expect. that's why the ones he could buy were so expensive.
Marius. It really shows in this piece of work, how far you've come in such a short time. Congratulations.
Amazing job, Marius! Can't believe you were able to mill down those huge slabs in your shop! That was great!
That is very well made!! I considered buying exactly the same lathe. But I will wait for a bigger workshop.
Well Done! I have been watching many work bench build videos, getting ideas for a lathe stand, and in my opion this is the best, really precise, strong and it looks brilliant too.
Well done! Always enjoy watching your videos. Your work is that of a master much older than I'm sure you are.
Daumen hoch - mach weiter so.
Great job on that cabinet. If you build shop furniture that well, I can only imagine what an actual piece of furniture you build will look like.
Your level of precision is incredible. Excellent!
MAN! What you have done is simply AWSOME !
I'm in shock of your precision
Keep up with the great job your doing as Woodworker and as Content Creator

Simply beautiful. The quality and accuracy of your work is amazing. Very well done!!!
Es ist einfach so befriedigend wie unglaublich stabil und perfekt dieser Schrank ist. Großen Respekt!
The level of precision is astonishing and you make it look so easy... It must have taken a lot of preparation, planning and concentration to make this workbench. Nice work!
Actually not, only the big glue-up required a lot of concentration, clamps and hammers
This workbench is absolutely beautiful! I am really impressed with the adjustable feet too.

Oh yes, improve other tools will be a big task for the lathe
Very nice project, beautifully made. The pantorouter is a brilliant tool, makes projects like this much easier I suspect.
12:50 really nice clamp/wedge technique. Good work.
Great family you have teaming up with you. Thumbs up
It was a cool project indeed. I'm always amazed at seeing your joints go together so flawlessly. Thanks for sharing, Marius.
I very much enjoy spending time with you. You have a gift
Congratulations, my friend, your designs and equipment are first-rate. Another great project. Very well done Marius. Plans would be great.
Another great video. Watching your shop develop over the past few years has been awesome. Also your english has really improved over that time, your narration sounds completely natural now.
Thanks man, nice to hear that!
Keep creating and learning! You are a great mind. Leaps and bounds ahead of your average young man.
Everything about this video is awesome from the editing to the feet leveling. Great job Marius!
Thanks man!
I wish i can like this video 100000 times more, Marius, you are an inspiration. Keep up the awesome work.
Wow, das beste was ich in dieser Art hier auf UA-cam gesehen habe. Respekt !
Mach weiter so !
Great! It's overkill but it's great. I'm guessing the precision and siezing overruns the lathe. I'm so impressed. Congrats.
I think this is one of the most satisfying build I have seen from you. Love the joinery
Great project Marius, absolutely no corners cut! It is rare to see such quality workmanship and attention to minute detail. I am looking forward to what you will do with the metal lathe in future, cheers!
Hey Marius! That's pretty much the best I've ever seen in woodworking. Great work for your age really impressive !!!Plans yes please
Awesome build Marius!! That stand should last you a lifetime!!
Maybe it lasts longer than the lathe.
Love the attention to detail in every video. Great channel. No doubt you'll hit 1 million soon.
we'll see when that soon happens
Wie immer absolute Perfektion in Vollendung und dazu noch optisch mega gelungen! Dazu noch ein wunderbar anzuschauendes Video. Klasse!!!
A very nice job but one small extra a ice hockey puck glued to each foot you would have anti-vibration mounts
Hey, good idea
indeed. and if you ever would mop the floor, rubber feet don't attract the water :-). my hole shop stand on rubbers, just for that reason hehe.
I also use rubbers often, friend ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Great project and excellent craftsmanship! Thanks for sharing.
Marius, you are a genius. Thanks for sharing your skills - always in an entertaining way.
Congrats Marius. I like your perfection and attention to detail in this project
Very nice. I was taught to leave the thickness of the tenon at the end of a mortise to minimize break out... but that's from an old school joiner :)
i can't wait to see some more videos with this lathe in them. really beautiful shop furniture...
for sure a beautiful piece of work there, only if you understand the process and getting everything
straight you know how masterfull your skills are
That is a beautiful workbench. It looks like furniture. It could be used as added counter in the kitchen.
extremely satisfying to watch. brilliant project.
Riesen Respekt für dieses Projekt. Deine Präzision ist echt bemerkenswert. Freue mich auf viele tolle weitere Videos von und mit dir.
Nice new tool/toy young man. I look forward to your next lathe project.
Looks like you came up with some extra room in the shop.
Nice build.
Wow, that is a beast of a cabinet!! Great job!
Thanks Jeremy!
Great job! 👍🏼
Built tough!
From the tree trunk to the workbench 👍🏼
Yet another great build. Your attention to detail is mind blowing. keep up the good work.
Wow, very impressive! Precise and good design. Looking forward to some from the lathe!
*Marius* you are an Artist a Genius.

This is so awesome. I like the adjustable feet idea especially. Thanks!
Uauuu man, thats what I call high level of carpentry, congratulations.
Great project! Very nice lumber too.
Do we also get metalwork videos now?
of course
Marius Hornberger nice
Or ThisOldTony, awesome guy.
I knew you'd eventually get into metalworking!
that is a really nice workbench. great work.
Big glue ups always are stressful especially during the hot part of the summer when the glue kicks off so quickly. I imagine if I had this equipment the added Precision would be helpful.
Really great job, you should be proud of the fine woodwork. I am inspired. Thank you
Wonderful; so nice to see your folks too!
Happy to see you featured the wavy wood grain on either side of the drawer faces. Would've lived to see you feature it further with a different finish that vrought the grain out further
Your skills are over the top, Great project and very well done! thank you.

This is your best project so far!
Really nice build. Love all the joinery.
Wow what a great project. Well thought out. Well built.
Well done Marius. Nice lathe too!!
Awesome lathe table! You have inspired me to build a workbench modeled after your lathe table. I really like the adjustable feet for the table. I would add a set of wheels(nice set of casters), yet keeping the feet.
That is a very, very fine piece of cabinetmaking. I say this with some experience, I know good when I see it.
Great Job! that is much better than my kitchen cabinets! can't wait for your new channel... "This Old Marius"!
Nice bench! Don't forget to level your lathe correctly. This is vital for proper results (straight and parallel!).
Now the fun begins!
Oh BTW: don't forget to keep it all clean to avoid taking metal chips into the house or cross-contaminating wood. That too can be a serious issue!

Love it!!! What a beast of a table! I gotta give you credit, those feet are great!
