A friend asaked me to make a 3D carved picture frame that fits the theme of the picture.
Vectric offered me a licence for Aspire to try out and I used that to create this picture frame.
    Enjoy the video!

Marius, if you ever do this again, you might try reversing the sand ripples, making them concave rather than convex.

    • @MariusHornberger

I move to an edge until the bit touches and then set zero (actually setting the negative bit radius, so 0 ends up on the workpiece edge)

You trued your poly fences by using a square inside them then used the outside of those fences to guide your workpieces. That assumes that your fences' sides are parallel which they probably are in your case. But you could have used a framing square to check the outsides of them for square. Another good video. Wish I could sit in the corner with a beer and watch you create.

    • @MariusHornberger

Yes, setting the jig up that way works. I made sure my fences are parallel.

Could use simple pictures to produce 3D Logos etc. But if you would like to construct something with moving parts, I am not sure if thats working for m

So, I would like to pass one along to you. Anytime you say the word “therefore”, you could instead use the word “so.” As you can see, I used an example of it in this comment.
