Hey fancy seeing you here! Thanks! I am really hoping the AI gets a boost. If it does I think most of my problems go away. I like how in Assassins Creed Nexus you can kinda set how smart the AI is. Or last you can make it so they detect you faster.
Mechanic bloodlust and malice the more you consume blood the easier it is for enemies to notice you and the more alert them come like maybe those spirt whisp can come off of you and lead enemies to where you’ve gone and for messing up you fill up a bar in at max you get one shotted but you can hit harder your blood count will also be reduced in this mode to really put the raging monster thing into effect as an idea
@@bmackVR that would add some difficulty to the game through so they wouldn’t do it also I forgot to add this but if you evade the bar goes down and so does your tail and your ability’s return that and having better ai would make the game perfect kinda
I think instead of making difficulties they have challenges in every mission, which are quite great.👍 I think the only my concern with Vampire for the time being is arms/shoulder bug that makes them floating in-front of your face when you turn head or lean over, but they stated that it’s not in priority to fix.😅 But to me as well as to many others it’s the reason not to play the game for now. As for the method of elimination enemies by using bite or arrow or skill I don’t see issues here, it’s just a great variety of options to achieve the same and it’s your choice which method you personally prefer more.🧛♂️
Yeah the arms and shoulder thing got a little annoying. If you enjoy killing the enemies as it is right now that’s great, I am jealous haha. Let me explain it a different way though. If this were an FPS game, it would feel like the starter gun is far better than every single weapon in the game, and all the weapons that come after it are just worse in some way. In GOOD FPS games various enemies require different tactics and different guns, same with different scenarios. If an enemy is close or moving quickly, maybe a shotgun is best. But if it’s armored maybe you want to switch to a weapon that is higher caliber. But none of that really exists in this game. No enemies or situations really require you to do anything different from blink and feed. Because the game’s biggest problem isn’t its abilities or your ability to kill, it’s the AI. The AI is just lacking. But who knows, maybe I just wanted too much out of this game, or had the wrong expectations for it.
@@vrvector yeah I agree. I would love to see something like that in a sequel. I would instantly buy it, because almost everything else about Vampire is really well done.
@@bmackVR Yes, it’s like in Assassin’s Creed there are heavy armoured dudes in some memories which not possible to attack from stealth or distance. I like those.😅
Thanks Michelle! I think if they fix the AI issues, most of my problems with it go away, and I think that’s fixable, we’ll see though. Are you interested in mannequin? It might be our type of game.
Thanks Blue! It’s hard doing reviews that are more negative in style. I usually just avoid them because I don’t find making those videos fun. But Vampire felt different because parts of it are just so close!
I'm so frustrated with this game I can't even get past the control issues I have. Feeding may be overpowered but I can't even grab people and feed on them in the first place. I just end up pushing them or passing through them. I can't even use the trap ability without it glitching all over the ground, going anywhere but where I want it. Huge fan of 90's World of Darkness was really excited to see this but it's been beyond annoying so far.
Ughh sorry!! It’s so close to being a good game with a some more attention to certain areas. I never experience your problems but that’s beyond frustrating!
I think it will Farmer. My guess is it’s a timed exclusive. If it does, they really need to improve the AI. If the AI was better most of my problems with it would go away.
@@TheBaldrickk yeah I understand that. Thankfully we got Arizona Sunshine 2 coming up. And if you’re a racing fan, EA Sports WRC should get its VR mode soon. And Valve is definitely turning their attention back to PCVR.

Great review, very thorough 🔥 Bought this during this PSN sale but waiting for one more patch before starting it. Looking forward to playing this.

@@dpsadoting the AI is really the biggest problem. Nothing about it is really challenging.

@@vrvector this game actually reminded me of a more linear assassins creed with worse AI but smoother climbing.
I haven't picked this up yet I played one of these masquerade games flat in the 90s and liked it may still pick this up some day

Wish this game would make it to PCVR. I don't like this slew of developers being strictly standalone when they have great games.
