Alien is objectively the best, but Aliens has always been my favorite. Just listened to the Out of the Shadows novel trilogy which I enjoyed quite a bit. Weyland Yutani is so freaking evil, lol.
Alien Isolation in VR is still one of the best VR experiences out there. And it is not even official. That slow burn pace and beautifully detailed environment is made for VR. Got high hopes for this game too. although was disappointed to hear there is little time to explore due to the random alien spawns.

No Virtual Desktop gets a big nay-no from me. Air Link has too much compression, as does Steam Link. Virtual Desktop is king, and this sounds like a big missed opportunity. I think I’ll hold off until it’s patched to work with it, or I may just pass all together even though I love the Aliens franchise. At the $40 asking price for a VR game, I expected it to work with every streamer. Good review though 👍🏻👍🏻

Please tell me this game has actual proper instant snap turning where you don't see any turn frames in between each angle, and not fake "snap" turning that's really just faster smooth turning in segments where you technically still see all the turn frames? Behemoth f'd this up--and it still makes me motion sick when this isn't dont right--so I'm gonna be totally pissed off if another tentpole AAA VR game has done the same too!

I will not buy until it will work on virtual desktop or steam link. Airlink doesn’t work for me and I have a PS VR 2 but I don’t like to play tethered if I don’t have to.
After delaying multiple time, it’s was a big let down. Wasn’t worth the wait. Couldn’t get into it after 30mins of playing. Same boring mission. Wait til $30 if you’re lucky
As someone that does pcvr and psvr 2 on PS5, this is absolutely not true. The difference in quality between the two versions is entirely on the developers and they dropped the ball at launch it sounds. PSVR2 should never have better quality textures when I have a PC that literally has 3x more processing power than a PS5.

You can tweak the bitrate of airlink, but I agree, it’s inferior. I think they will patch it at some point.

Yeah, No VD is a HARD pass for me, Games look and run WAY better, VD also has less latency between your router and headset.
I'm so glad they are making this into a normal VR game ... I will be happy to pay 50 bucks for each chapter
I’m hoping that chapter 2 is not more of the same, but a step in the complexity of the game and the situations it puts you in.
Games like this are better after a couple of patches. I’m gonna wait a bit.

Probably just didn’t test it enough. I and plenty of content creators have passed this feedback along to the team.
0:50 Why would there be roguelike elements. Title has a common english word in it, but it is clearly about the incursion, not the character/gameplay.
Due to the game’s title for a long time everyone thought it would be a roguelike.
It will be patched at some time I imagine, but until then I will not be buying..
Shame games are rushed out all the time these days.
