For me, I agree batman is awesome but I still find myself playing some much older games. What are your personal favourite best VR games up to now? Don't reply- make a video ;)

Very nice list.👍 For me personally, Batman didn't get any higher than #5 for various reasons. But I generally agree with the other spots. My Top 1 layer from these year releases are Maestro and Behemoth and Top 2 layer would be Metro and Arizona Remake.

Interesting top 10. I really haven't played too many new games that came out this year because I have a back log and enjoying older games right now but it seems 2024 games have been underwhelming in my opinion. I have been having a better time with RE games in VR this year than any other game. For co-op both Arizona Sunshine games are great though and fun with friends. Into the Black is kinda fun with friends as well but not too fun alone. So many people have their own tastes and opinions but the bar is set too high in VR after HLA and the UEVR injector in my opinion. I am interested in Behemoth but I probably will wait for a sale or something still. I thought when I first saw previews on it I would rush to get it but seeing someone actually play it in a stream I lost that hype for it. Maybe better games will come out in 2025 but that just makes me want to wait for my next PC to play these newer games.

Damn shame Aces of Thunder didn't make it, haven't even got round to Batman or Behemoth yet. Alien seems like a bit of notable disappointment, as they rushed a half a game out before Xmas and only on PCVR. Reckon Subside maybe should get an honourable mention. Asgard's Wrath 2 still beats any game I've played this year so far - tons of content, great puzzles and the combat is great. Metro Awakening was a decent effort for sure. Merry Xmas!

Excellent list! It’s pretty wild how many amazing games we got for VR in 2023, yet 2024 showed out even bigger. So many great VR games to keep us entertained for years to come.

Which year had better games 2023 (Resident Evil 8 and 4, GT7, Vertigo 2, The Light Brigade, Asgard's Wrath 2) Or the games of 2024?

Do you play realistic or arcade?

For the newbies -- I just downloaded and played it, and I can confirm that the tutorials are excellent, and you can even start out with advantages, like being indestructible, and having helpful banners appear that say, "Duck!" and, "Pistol whip this guy!" My only questions are: How do I know who my enemies are, vs innocent bystanders? And how do I kill a guy who has armor?

The controls on the Vive controllers are shockingly bad

I will not buy until it will work on virtual desktop or steam link. Airlink doesn’t work for me and I have a PS VR 2 but I don’t like to play tethered if I don’t have to.

After delaying multiple time, it’s was a big let down. Wasn’t worth the wait. Couldn’t get into it after 30mins of playing. Same boring mission. Wait til $30 if you’re lucky

Games like this are better after a couple of patches. I’m gonna wait a bit.

Please tell me this game has actual proper instant snap turning where you don't see any turn frames in between each angle, and not fake "snap" turning that's really just faster smooth turning in segments where you technically still see all the turn frames? Behemoth f'd this up--and it still makes me motion sick when this isn't dont right--so I'm gonna be totally pissed off if another tentpole AAA VR game has done the same too!

Why on earth would the PCVR version have lower resolution textures & no SteamVR/VD support? Totally unexceptable tbh. At the cost its a pass from me.

No Virtual Desktop gets a big nay-no from me. Air Link has too much compression, as does Steam Link. Virtual Desktop is king, and this sounds like a big missed opportunity. I think I’ll hold off until it’s patched to work with it, or I may just pass all together even though I love the Aliens franchise. At the $40 asking price for a VR game, I expected it to work with every streamer. Good review though 👍🏻👍🏻

3:00 This is definitely a LOD issue. Where for some reason, it's not loaded the high LOD version of the asset.

But I ordered a quest 3 today, because aliens rogue concursion looked really good. And I’ve been waiting for the aliens VR experience for so long. Looking through some of your reviews I realise actually there’s a load of VR games that come out been below my radar. Good to know ….. 👍 I subbed ya

Good review …. The spawning rate seems to be a consistent complaint. Pacing is important.

Hoping to play this on the quest 1 with steam link. Play bone works and half life Alyx ok.

Great in depth review! Like to see how your videos have improved over time. Looking forward to playing this one. Fingers crossed that someone from the team finally gets back to me. And of course fixes that game breaking save issue. Alien Isolation was such a fun time in VR that the announcement of a made for VR version had me hyped.
