- Our First GT7 PSVR2 Only Lobby Race and it was Incredible! This was our first Gran Turismo GT7 Lobby race for PSVR2 users. It was at Brands Hatch in GT4 cars. It was an 8 lap shootout. If people are interested in participating in Lobby Races, we can definitely do more of them. We can continue to do PSVR2 only lobbies and also mix up PSVR2 users with flat screen users so not to leave out non VR drivers from the fun! Thanks to those that participated in this one.

I wish I could ever race this good. Don’t ever say you’re “not fast”. 1:30 at brands hatch, staying in control, is plenty fast (evidently). I’d have qualified easily 5-6 seconds behind. I just can’t take some of those turns as fast as you guys, no matter what car I use. Good racing.
Thanks. I'm sure you can get the speed up there. Just keep working at it. We have some really fast drivers in this community, and I ain't one of them. 😆
I'll definitely be down for some great vr2 races. I'm new at this league and lobby stuff, getting signed up and registered, so I can enjoy too. Great job on the channel!!

We actually had two races. Last place for me race 1 then gr3 cars race two with a win, not sure how close you guys were battling in race 2 but hoping for more lobby races in the future as it was a good time.
You ran away with that second race! I love the recovery of your first spin in race 1. You barely lost a beat. I was wondering how you were able catch up to me after that. It was a smooth 360. 😆

Watched your race just now, the driver behind you on the last lap with one turn to go had a .5 second penalty and still came back and whiffed by!, Yikes how come? Was slip stream real or custom? Oh well exciting finish.
Slip stream was on weak. I know I didn't take the last corner great, but have no idea how he made up that much time. LoL
Sounds like fun but living on the West coast, 6am might be a bit early for me :) Is there anywhere in GT7 where upcoming races/lobbies are scheduled so we can see when the next one(s) are coming up? Apologies if seeing upcoming lobbies is obvious but I've only gone into the lobbies twice.

Unfortunately the video of his drive is not truly reflecting the blurriness in the actually VR experience in PS4. They need to bring it to PC to let other VR headsets with PC power make it a reality.
It's PS5 and PC captures don't capture a true through the headset view either. I own an RTX 3080 PC and VR, and while it is more powerful than a PS5, GT7 still looks great because what they can do with eye tracking. The attention to detail, HDR, and shadows make it a really good-looking game even. The best thing it can gain from more power is running at a higher frame rate and no reprojection. Maybe the PS5 can bring that. It would be great to see GT7 on PC though.
Definitely need to add slipstream to make it more challenging to defend and no ghosting
I think it was set to weak for slipstream. Will raise it for next time. I looked at the ghosting setting, and it was set to ghosting during race off, so not sure why it happened?
@@thecasualracinggamerif a crash is really bad, even if ghosting is turned off, ghosting will still happen

How do you find it without leaderboard, splits etc on HUD? Is there enough on the wheel?
There's nothing on the wheel. You have to sacrifice emersion for info unfortunately.

I saw it mentioned about a larger grid. I'm curious to see if it's true. I honestly just want a VR update, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

It was just open to my friends list, so we have to go with the honor system.
it was a fun battle I knew stelzer was a lot faster than me so I was on defense the last 2 laps and he made a great move final corner can’t complain with a P2

Dude you did a great job at defending and driving in general. I made a mistake on the first or second lap and had to really drive the pants of the Lambo to catch back up. That last corner and the drag race to the line where i just made it pass, was so intense. 00.078 between us is a great finish. Well done👌

@@Wiiillllson151 definitely was a great move on that last corner you caught me off guard I thought you tried to sneak on my outside I lost sight of you so slowed down to not push you off next thing I knew you were on my inside and that drag race was a nail biter. Can’t wait for the next race 👍

Do you use load cell pedals? I am pretty new to sim racing only since 12/23 and I bought the fanatec bundle. The pedals are ok but hard to learn trail braking with them. I only race in VR because that is why I started in the first place. Only thing is I am not at the caliber you all are. I can count on one hand how many live races I have done.
I do use load cell pedals. Is there an upgrade kit available for your pedals?
