I know I'm purchasing the 9800X3D first thing Thursday morning as I already purchased a X870P MB and 64GB 6400MT/s RAM. Not a bad upgrade for less than $1,000 coming from AM4. Probably upgrade to 8300MT/s RAM If it's beneficial. The 9800X3D shit compliment my 4090 a little better.

Its so fucked. 7800x3d was 400 euro a month ago. Now it's 450 euro and the price is only rising because production has stopped. Meanwhile the 9800x3d is 550 euro. An increase of nearly 40% over the 400 euro 7800x3d from a month and a half ago, for only 10-12% increase in gaming, on average. And thats at 1080p. So now im completely screwed. Wanted to upgrade from a 4770k but paying 450 for a 7800x3d feels so bad when it was 400 just like a month ago. And 550 for a 9800x3d feels like im throwing away money when i could instead invest this money into a better gpu.

Call of duty you have to change your worker render count to 8 via documents open player with notepad COD has been known for putting it way to high with mine it was on 15 when I put it to 8 I gained 40 extra fps.

I'll probably catch flak from this, but I'm one of those people who don't have a boat or motorcyle and instead chooses to spend my "toy" money on the latest and greatest pc parts once per year. My current rig is an i9 13900k + rtx 4090. Once the RTX 5000 series comes out, for 4k gaming and WoW, would a simple GPU swap to the 5090 be noticeable, or should I also swap to AMD x3d? Don't want to bottleneck my new GPU when I get it, but thinking an i9 13900k would still be okay? Thanks
Nothing wrong with that! Sounds like a great rig, and a great upgrade plan if 5090 turns out well! I Think the 13900K will likely be OK, but I would wait until benchmarks drop for next gen cards to be sure :)
I dont think it would be. Even a 4070 super is fine. Anything below that, prob better to get a 7600x3d and a better gpu, especially at 4k. Altho, might as well wait till the 5070 comes prob in february.

And when you show the diffrence in cpu power u should always put all settings low. If ur in game settings are on high only the gpu is working . 1080p high is not a good benchmark Do 1080p low 2k low,very low settings
Should I sell my 7800x3d and x670e motherboard to buy next gen 9800x3d and x870e? I have had the parts for about 6months unopened and brandnew still in the box, since ordeing from Amazon, but I just never got around to getting the rest of the parts. Im going to wait now for 50 series GPUs (5080). Is it worth it to do this or should i just build with my current parts?
Are you mostly a gamer and at 1440p or higher? This CPU(Or even the 7800x3d) isn't going to change your life in that case. Maybe in a year or two when GPUs are faster.
@@dsxiree usually you can lower the cpu budget for a better gpu. a 4070 would probably be fine, if you plan on sticking to the cpu, you should go for one of the 7900 amd series cards or a 4080 super.
@@turoiltoil he cant lower the cpu budget. The 7800x3d is much more expensive now than it was 2 months ago thanks to production being stopped. It just doesnt make sense to buy it. While the 7600x3d at 300 with only 6 cores feels too weak for a 4070 super. Essentially, whatever he does one component is gonna be a bottleneck. To have a balanced setup, u need at least a 4070 ti super with a 7/9800x3d.

So funny how far behind amd is with their cpus and gpus. Both my pcs run intel cpus, one 13900k and the other a 14900k with 4090s in both and they both put out way more fps than amd x3d gimmic cpus 😂😂

Hey can you give me a free gaming pc. My pc is absolutly trash and my parents got it. I cant even open fortnite or valorant. And the tips and tricks from videos to get more fps dont work whatsoever. All I want is a pc that can get 100 or more fps in fortnite, minecraft with shaders, and valorant. I can play minecraft, but at 20 fps lowest settings. And it glitches like every 5 seconds. Roblox 30 fps lowest graphics small screen. My parents wont get me one. Even for christmas.

I'm surprised you don't have the 9900X or the 9950x in your benchmarks. Pretty sure the 9950x is on top right now.
I would love to get one but they’ve all been bought out hours into launch. Now they’re all being sold for 800$+.
For ~5% more performance overall I will stay with my 7800x3d.

Combo is a bit CPU heavy. You might be better with a lower-end CPU and higher-end GPU. The 9800X3D is very very good for this combo
