@@user-tf3ml5of9d sunday had better songs (for the most part) but like friday came first so it felt more fresh. Dont get me wrong tho, both shows were awesome.
I was there and damn man I knew it was coming when I heard they didn’t play it at the Friday show. So pumped. Had goosebumps literally. I’m 55 and had goosebumps! Best show in decades for me!
@@michaellewchuk8272 Yeah, I could tell from watching. I always look for crowd interaction with the usual tunes. Last night was more what I'm used to seeing.
*SEEMS THEY TONED DOWN THE BASS ON NIGHT 2, SUNDAY. BUT THIS ALLOWED THE GUITARS TO COME THRU BETTER AS WELL AS THE VOCALS. ALSO ALOT LESS SMOKE FILLED THE BOWL. FRIDAY SMOKE WAS THICK SOMETIMES COULDNT SEE PERFORMERS* _WORTH EVERY HARD EARNED DOLLAR_
Was my 2nd Metallica concert....liked the first one better in Rutherford but only because of the stage..we'll still keep going def..my fiance has seen them like a hundred times lol
This song sounded so off time Sunday. Did a mic go out? Seems lars didn't even bother playing the famous double bass part either! Maybe the mics went out!
Besides Lars the biggest issue was kirk somehow seemed to be behind the beat constantly and often on the wrong fret. Even in the intro, you can hear flanging between the 2 guitars. At the concert I first thought some weird effects pedal was on by mistake, but no, kirk can’t stay on beat, which evenat that part the song could be Lars fault. The intro isn’t fast but it’s by no means an easy or simple rhythm to play correctly.
@@sparklerbc9898 He was off that whole show. Never seen him play so badly. Maybe he had a finger injury or something because he messed up a ton of songs during that show.
Old school fan here. Saw Metallica dozens of times since back in the day. Loved Hardwired. But the moment they shared a stage with Lady Guy Guy and then Nancy Pelosi at global citizens concerts...they lost me forever. Have good memories of them before they sold out and sold their souls to the 33rd degree lodge. Good riddance. Rather see Megadeth any day. Unlike these shams DAVE AND COMPANY KILL IT LIVE...with no shortcuts and half assed drumming and burnt out guitar solos.
Someone tell these guys to practice a little more...especialy Kirk and Lars...there's a difference between being egoless and bad professional... don't get me wrong, I'm pretty much a huge fan...
They were both lost through this whole song, it’s shocking really. The only thing more puzzling us how few “fans” even know the music well enough to notice
The energy on Sunday was insane. You could feel the electricity in that place all night.
Totally!! Was there, too.
Yeah, it was. Friday was cool, too.
You are damn right! The energy was off the charts. So damn good!!
Sunday better than Friday, agree about the energy!

This Sunday was amazing and I’m proud to say Metallica was my first concert
Same!
It’s going to be difficult to live up to your first!
Me too
This weekend show was unbelievable! Such a good time
What a great weekend it was. Loud AF! I feel like I have a concussion this morning. Crazy considering I was wearing earplugs.
Me too I have been seeing them since Jon Z brought them to NJ now I need a couple days to recover 😅
Where were you sitting?

are you saying you got WHIPLASH?
Was at Friday's show. Was hoping to here this but can't complain it was a sick show.
Do you remember what songs they used fire on?
Atleast you got to see them play Battery!
My first concert. Glad it was METALLICA!!!

This got me hyped for their show in Texas since I am going both nights 🔥🔥
Damn, I was there for Friday night's show hoping to hear this, lol. Last night's crowd is also more into singing along.
There was definitely a special energy last night. The whole crowd was electric.

I was there both nights, was truly amazing
Thanks a lot! Hoping for the full show now.😊
Awesome show!!!!!! 🤘
Im going to see them live on the 11th in montreal I hope they play this song so bad its sick af live
I was there on that day, even though I was in back section it was so cool and awesome
Amazing show.
It was great show, awesome energy :)
I was only able to be there for the Friday show…
So I didn’t get to see this :(
Enjoy that show, hopefully?
I was at the Friday show too. Very disappointed I couldn’t make it to Sunday. Work 🙄 Friday was awesome though. Just pissed I miss One on Sunday.
I was there .That was great 😊
Flying from New Zealand for Los Angeles shows. Let's fucking go!
Great weekend . Metallica killed it 8/3-86 🤘🤘
I couldn’t pick my head up fully for two days. Threw my neck out for like the third time at a Metallica show.
thanks for this. i was there but my phone was not

I had the opposite experience, from where I was the bass sounded massive! It sounded great to me
Yup Sunday was insane, the wave for 10 min
Can't wait for the November show in Detroit!!
Best 2 concerts I ever went to
Was at both shows, whoever says these guys are too old and can’t play don’t know a thing!!🤘🤘🤘🤘 best band ever
Such a great show Sunday. Opening with Whiplash was the best!
show was great. unless you were me and you were in the nosebleeds and all you heard was non stop echo's.

Is there any real footage of this concert, or is it just everyone’s videos from their iPhone?
Metallica has uploaded seek and destroy
All the phones are sad 😢
5:15 woah is it just me or the double bass is not audible. At all
It was audible at the show but kind of obvious it wasn't coming from the kit. But they still sounded great otherwise
@@TheCarbunkleofTruthwell...his legs are moving...but it's Impossible to tell if he's playing it properly...probably not 😅
I dont think hes doing the double bass here
@renatocosta5601 I don't think I heard a single proper triplet all night. That ship has sailed for the old boy
I don’t think he’s even trying to play it. And let’s not talk about just wtf Kirk was doing through most of this song
You know, if you would have zoomed out you might have actually caught all of the things going on in the beginning of the song.
Is Lars’s kick drum fucked up or is it just the phone camera mic not picking it up?
He’s not playing the triplets
@@sparklerbc9898why
@@Dan16673 the obvious answer because he knows he cant
Where double bass?
Right?
They gotta turn up Lars’ double bass pedals. You can’t even hear them!
Sounds awful but I love them
Kirk? Really? 😂
Sounds like a high school cover band of Metallica playing in their mom's basement.
Couple of sour notes there in that 1st solo Kirk!! 😬
Damn Kirk is sloppy as all hell lol, messing up the iconic intro lead not once but twice lol. still would've loved to have gone to this.
This was bad. If you don’t think so, go listen to the CD and then come back and listen to this again.
Amazing weekend! This definitely was the worst song they did live tho.. Lars absolutely butchering that double bass part
What about Kirk? Geez? 7:16. James looking at what he is playing.
Haha true he was struggling there too. Friday night Kirk struggled all through nothing else matters

kirk made a mistake @ 1:36 =/
Bruh.. the whole song was mistake after another. Robert was the most consistent on track.
